BEWARE!! STAY AWAY!! If I could rate this business- zero stars I would. My best friend used Eclipse for their wedding and I honestly wish they knew sooner prior committing to them. The limo drivers were a slob, poorly dressed, no sense of professionalism at all. The limos were extremely dirty, all of the glasses had lip stained and were sticky, the seats of the cars were all ripped up. We were told that the limo would fit 15 people yet it uncomfortably fit 8 people. After leaving the church, we had to stop at a pier to take photos before getting the wedding venue. However, the driver took us straight to the wedding venue and told us that he was not allowed to go anywhere else that the time was up. After screaming at the driver, he finally insisted to take us to the photo location that was less than a 2 minute drive. Upon arriving to the photo location, he and the other drive told us that they had to leave that the entire bridal party was to walk back to the venue. I am not sure in their right minds thought it was okay for them to leave everyone stranded no less the bride and the bridal party in their dresses and heels to walk 20 min to the venue. The driver demanded that each car would need to pay $120 an hour per car so figure $240/hour. He then proceeds to get his manager on the phone stating that it would cost an upwards of $600 total for them to stay. I am not sure how these owners and employees sleep at night- it's absolutely stomach churning and disgusting how they try to uphold their business. They are complete CON ARTISTS, SCAMMERS AND RUTHLESS WHEN STEALING MONEY UNDER YOUR NOSE!! STAY AWAY!! THEY OUGHT TO BE SHUT DOWN BY THE BBB. When we started out looking for Limo companies we were focused on two things. The best price and a long white super stretch limo that would fit 12 people. It was really important to us to not have a big clunky truck or escalade. We wanted to go the traditional route, but my dress would have also made it impossible to get in and out of a big truck. Right from the beginning we knew Joe Gross (the owner) wasn't a great business man, but we tried to see the good and looked past it. He's a straight shooter and we believed his word. To get the best price we paid in full upfront. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Our wedding day came and a huge beat up old Excursion came LATE rolling up my driveway. I nearly had a heart attack. We all piled into the clunker with Joe's phone number in hand. The inside was WORSE than the outside. It looked like it was at a prom the night before, they had barely cleaned it and there was NO AC! Did I mention I got married in June and was wearing a big heavy dress? My best friend called Joe on the way from the house to the church. Obviously any smart business man would remedy the situation during the ceremony and we'd have what we paid for by the time we said I Do. Instead Joe brought my best friend (who was pretending to be me.. the BRIDE) to tears on the phone. Cursing and screaming at who he thought was the bride on the wedding day. Then my Dad got on the phone to continue the heated conversation. It was not the tranquil way i wanted to be driven to the church at all. Bottom line, nothing was resolved, we got no money back, one of the groomsman had to sit on the floor on the way to the reception, another one literally almost passed out from the heat. I have heard so many awful stories about this place since my disaster, please stay away... I ordered a 12-14 people limo and what we got was an 8 - 10, the limo was dragging on the back, I had to ride shot gun, and the driver was going at 25 miles an hour bacause the back of the limo was so low it was scratching against the road. I took the owner to court and learned he is one shady piece of trash. There were 2 other cases against this man and limo company besides mine. When we went against the judge, I had learned that he tried to black out the 12 - 14 people part of the receipt and putting in "10" instead. I had the carbon copy at which the judge literally called him "business Scum" and awarded me my case. I never saw any of the money but figured I wouldn't. Please STAY away! This man is business scum. While the drivers were nice, the owner of the business not so much. As one knows with getting married how hectic it can be a week prior to wedding. When someone negotiated a contract with someone and pays up front early for what was discussed and Written down. Things should be honored. A response such as "it's not my responsibility to remind you to do final confirm or a family emergency's took precedent over what was discussed". Long story short of it. Do not recommend them if you want to work with someone you can TRUST. While drivers showed up on time and were not rushing to leave at the last hour, not receiving cars we'd ask for, and our personal black car service post the wedding and leaving us to figure out a ride home post wedding day of the wedding completely unprofessional. So thanks for nothing eclipse. Would've been great to know your personal life takes precedent over contracts, and what was discussed. To tell me again it's my responsibility to remind you what was agreed upon is nothing but garbage and shitty business practice. Do yourselves a favor. Go somewhere else for PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Worst company ever. I was looking for a limo for prom and i was fooled by the price i was given. After the money was given i was treated like a child and threatened that all bags and even our breaths will be checked during the night. On top of that, I had to give an exact itinerary which i was forced to change to Joe's liking. There was also no ipod jack to plug in as it was promised and instead had to listen to crappy radio music. Instead of enjoying my night, I constantly felt under pressure of god forbid the limo leaving us at some point if we were even a minute late. The only good thing was the driver as he was very polite and always opened the door and helped the girls out with getting out. At the end of the day it's better to spend those extra couple of bucks and enjoy yourself as it is a once in a lifetime experience that you will never get back. read more

I'm currently riding in a limo for my cousin's wedding and witnessed the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They treated my cousin and his wife with disrespect and expected money up front due to overtime. They absolutely would not travel anywhere without receiving the money right there and then. Even after verbally telling him that one of the groomsmen would get money and that they would receive their money once we arrived at the reception venue, they still would not budge. We wanted the traditional princess Rolls Royce and a 10 Passenger limo and Joe went above and beyond what our expectations were. I was married in August this year and used Eclipse Limo for a car to bring me to the ceremony then my husband and I to our reception. The limo was clean. The driver was on time and very polite. On the way to the church he asked us what mine and my husbands favorite drink was - when we got back in the limo after the ceremony, we had a few of our favorite beers on ice to enjoy on the way to the reception. read more

Alright... I hate posting a bad review but ours was awful and I feel bad for anyone who might also go through this. I'll explain what happened and Joe (the owners exact response to me via email. Limo did not show up for the groom and Joe had reassured me the company's bad reviews were fake ones from old drivers who were fired. He assured me his drivers get there hours ahead of time and circle the area until the actual pick up time. He also bragged to me how he has been in. Haines 30 years and wouldn't still be in business if those bad reviews were true. I told Joe this happened, and his response was: "I am sorry that you experienced this that way but the problem was your pickup was 2 hours away from my office and with the traffic we hit it was easier to get to the bride and not be late for you, the driver left 2 1/2 hours before your pickup not to be late. If I would have know this was that far from me i would have left a lot earlier for you." This response is clearly unacceptable. You have one job and that's to get there on time. Plan for traffic and don't accept a client if it's that big of an inconvenience. Then the limo arrived for me (yay) and luckily I had no idea the limo forgot to pick up the guys. Driver was rude, inpersonable and had zero clue how to get to the church. Church was 5 min away - what the heck? Why are we navigating the driver? The ac wasn't working and the radio was fuzzy. He told us to just figure it out. Thank god for iPhones - we played music on speaker using our data. Driver also slammed his brakes going super fast and stopping abruptly. When we got to the church he wouldn't park so I could easily get out. We had to walk a long long walk. Same leaving the church. People were shocked to see us having to walk to the limo to leave. Unacceptable. Finally, driver had zero clue how to get to the reception. Again we were navigating him. Insanity. I told Joe I'd like some sort of refund to make up for this awful experience otherwise I'll be inclined to write a bad review since I was misled and misinformed about what a limo service provides. Joes response: "The radio in the vehicle works fine and the driver does not know the radios in each car. His job is to drive you from place to place and not know about radios. Also, where your wedding was the reception is not the greatest for large SUV's like the one you had. Also, about his driving I do not know about what you are saying about hitting the brakes and going. Eddie has been with me for 5 years and have never had any problems with his driving but, I will look into it. Your vehicle was used for your 3 hours ( on the wedding ) and with the 2 1/2 hours driving up and 2 1/2 hours driving back I will be unable to give you any type of refund. I also do not like to be threatened with reviews just to get money back." All in all please don't use this company. You get what you pay for. Might I add we had a 12-person limo for 12 people and later he tells me we need a 14-person link to fit everyone? This makes no sense and I had to upgrade and pay an additional $400 to accommodate those 2 "extra" people. Oye vey. Please feel free to personal message me if you're worried this is a fake review. Limo came over an hour late to bring us to the airport. Limo was supposed to arrive at 535 am but apparently the phone calls go directly to voicemail until 6am.. When we finally got in touch with them they insisted that the driver had gotten into an accident prior to arriving to work, which may or may not have been an excuse. But they did not even call us to let us know they were running late or seem apologetic about the incident. Also claimed our large group would fit but some of us had to sit on the floor/shotgun. It's been almost 4 years (April 30, 2011) and I still shutter when I think about what should have been a fabulous sweet sixteen party for my daughter. When we met with Joe he seemed nice and very accommodating. We met with him the day before and everything was in place for a great affair. We planned to meet at the Dobbs Ferry waterfront so that the girls could take scenic pictures . Well, 6pm came and went called his office several times got his wife on the phone. She was clueless. She gave me Joe's cell. He claimed that the car was in an accident and he was on the side of the Hutch with the police. I originally wanted to leave at 5pm because the girls had dinner arrangements at a pricey club at 7pm. Joe talked me out of leaving so early , I now understand that he couldn't pick her up at. 5 because the car was coming from another venue. He couldn't even pick her up at 7 or 7:30. The car arrived at 7:45. My daughter was hysterical because she missed almost all of the dinner and the show had started by the time they got there. I failed to mention that when the driver arrived he looked so disheveled like he just woke up. The car was filthy and he almost ran over a parent as she was saying goodbye to her daughter. They had no radio and were completely bored going to the city. When I brought this up to Joe he had the audacity to state that my daughter broke the radio and he could sue us. Future bride please stay away from this limo company believe me. I met the owner at a bridal expo in Yonkers. I do live in queens, NY , my wedding was in brooklyn, NY. I was happy apparently because the owner had more than 30 years in the limo business, and he told me not to worry that I was going to have champagne, also a vehicle after my wedding so i can go in my honeymoon . I did rent 2 limousine and the cavalier. The limousine for the bridesmaids came 30 minutes late for the church while I was waiting in front of the church, for the bridesmaids to arrived . the Air Conditioner for the 3 vehicle wasn't working. (Guest and the bridal party were complaining was so embarrassing specially if u paid apparently to a experienced company ). I got married on August 2016. Finally at the end of the night as a married couple we were so tired when we were informed that the limo company didn't want to send the vehicle because apparently I lived in queens not in Yonkers. Bottom line I ended up taking UBER. After my honeymoon I did contact the owner and he stated that he was not aware about any incidents that day( he was lying because the driver was on the phone with him asking where was the other driver with the bridesmaids while I was waiting inside of the vehicle) but he stated that he wasn't going to send a vehicle to me anyway because that only apply for Yonkers residents. The day of the contract he told me "don't worry that's not a problem for me and my company "He never apologize to me, he was rude. Brides don't make the same mistake I did. I was impressed by the number of years of the company and professionalism how the owner spoke to me the first day I met him and signed the contract. The owner doesn't care even about his staff because I pay the gratuities for the drivers when I made my final payment but I was told by 2 of the drivers that he doesn't give them nothing besides their regular pay. The Sapir tire in the passenger seat tape holing the lights up inside and mold growing on the windows. The limo wouldn't shift out of gear felt like it was falling apart.. the absolute worst experience of my life. Days went by after the wedding and not even a call from the owner joe .. I had to call him and After meeting with the owner he agreed to refund all my money and drug the process out for over a month and then reneged on giving back the money. STAY AWAY! They were the absolute worst limo company ever, so unprofessional, rude, and the limos were awful. I was a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding this friday and the list of complaints we had were a mile long. Let's start with the limo (the Ford Excursion); the outside had tons of scratches and dents in it, the AC barley worked and it was insanely humid that day, it claimed to fit 18 people but we had 14 and we were literally sitting on top of each other. Next the driver, he was rude and did not listen to us when we tried to re-direct him out of traffic! We were all screaming in the back for him to make a right yet he still went left and then decided to stop in the middle of a busy exit ramp to BACK UP and go the way we told him to go. He stopped short and my aunt fell off her seat and almost hit her head on the bar inside. Then because he went the wrong way, we were 25 minutes late to church because we had to take back roads!! 25 mins!!!!! Once we finally got the to church, we had hoped that things were on track but the ride to the reception was just as awful. Again, the AC wasn't working and we were all dying in the back, the radio didn't work, and the driver kept stopping short causing everyone to constantly shift around in the tight space. Once we got to the reception the driver informed my cousin and her husband that they were going to be charged a $650 for the 30 mins they went over. It's absolutely insane that they demanded that much money because it was their fault we were late since they refuse to check the route for construction or traffic delays. Also, the wedding card that was in my overnight bag went mysteriously missing after it was placed in the limo. I agree with the others, stay away from this limo service. The price seems competitive at the time that you sign your contract and pay a deposit; but, watch out for price increases and car switches the day before your event. This vendor would only accept cash in advance, so you are very much at risk if the owner decides not to follow the contract terms. We chose this company because they had specialty cars. We picked a rolls royce for our wedding. We ended up getting a regular stretch limo for the price of a rolls royce. It was such a waste of money, as I could have gotten a stretch limo anywhere else for half of the price. What is worse is that the owners were extremely rude to us, saying that "You better keep a watch in your bouquet, missy", to ensure that we didn't go overtime with the car. We were only using the car to take us from the church to the reception, which was an hour away. We had the car for 3 hours. It became clear that they were not providing a guarantee that we would get to our reception on time. Why would someone hire a limo company if they could not provide a guarantee of their service?! I was very frightened to pay the full fee, in cash, in advance, and have them not pick me up. Please stay away from this guy. He is a slimeball with shady business practices. Silver Star is much better, more professional in their practices, and have a large selection of speciality vehicles. I wish I gave my money to Silver Star instead! read more
