The front office handles scheduling, billing, medical insurance, all you have to do is relax and let the therapists do their jobs; which they do quite well. The therapists call you in at your appointed time and immediately you're doing something or receiving some sort of treatment, constantly. They don't waste your time. I've been at other Physical Therapy businesses and there were times when i was sitting around for long periods before the next modality. Watching the clock as they wasted my time and money. When I had a follow up with the prescribing physician I'd let them know my time is valuable and I would not be going back to that place. If they couldn't suggest another therapist I'd find another doctor. I don't entertain fools. This place does well because of these factors: efficient operations, competent therapists, and feed back to the prescribing physicians. At LaGrange the whole staff works on you, but in a unified way; this means they pool their knowledge, find different ways to explain recovery plans, and consult with each other on the best exercises. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions. The facility is modern and sunny, with private examination rooms and plenty of up to date equipment. They use a whole range of techniques on me (stim, ultrasound, bands, machines, and manual therapy) which is exactly what I wanted because it made me feel like we were trying everything to rehab my injury. After six visits (the max my insurance approves) I had made significant progress.

Outstanding PT practice…read more Unfortunately I've had many orthopedic procedures done as a result of my occupation and sports. I've been to numerous PTs, to the point that I actually became quite skeptical about the efficacy of PT as a practice. Having recently had bilateral rotator cuff surgery, and after having walked out of another local PT appointment due to their lack of understanding of the issues, I decided on Peak. Dan Fishman, Bill, and Roland keep meticulous records; proof of an actual protocol was evident. I'd never experienced this before with any PT. Since working with them in early January, I have rehabilitated both shoulders to a point that the are functional. It's been grueling and time consuming, but the results are the proof. I had a cast put on my wrist here around 16 years ago by Dr. Episalla (who is still here). He took…read morein stride the fact that I insisted on wrapping up and swimming with my cast (the resultant light leakage of which required a blow dryer at home to rectify) and the fact at that my kid brother dropped change down the cast (which I'd forgotten about and which burned like hell from the heat of the saw as it was being cut off). My wrist healed perfectly and he took good care of me. Flash forward to 2011, I have a ganglion cyst on the back of my hand. It shrunk down to almost nothing within two weeks after I went in for my first appointment on its own, but the care I received was great. Dr. Israelski is a pretty high energy guy, and the PA was very mellow. Overall, they're a great team and were great to deal with. I've met a lot of doctors and PAs who were not worthy of any praise, but that certainly does not apply to any of the medical staff I've dealt with here. Even the MRI tech was nice and talked to me while I was stuck trying to lay as still as possible for a half-hour in an awkward (but necessary) position. Hopefully, the cyst won't come back. If it does, I know where I'm going. Update 1-15-2012: When you go, make sure you DO NOT leave without paying even if nobody says anything about needing to pay. I've now gotten a bill months later for $20 that says "Copay must be paid at time of service". Excuse me? When I go to the window after being seen and they set up an appointment to have my scan read and never ask me for payment...that's not my fault. I'm not mailing my credit card information out, and I really don't feel like making a trip out of my way to go pay what you should have collected from me to begin with. Ridiculous, but I suppose I have no choice now.

They fill out necessary forms, provide visit summaries, and copies of any needed records. I see 8 drs and this practice in liberty is the best experience I've had anywhere in Sullivan county, cannot praise them enough.
