Now I realized that the first person was a scammer that was data-mining. A few weeks later, and I'm filing for identity theft. I received a credit ding because someone else is applying for new cards under my name. I should've verified the company more before contacting them, but that's the danger of the internet I suppose! Here is your quote and our agreement "We can replace tomorrow. $255 with service charge and 6 month warranty.". My mom was charged (and paid) $305. You mailed a check for $50. Therefore she paid $255, which is not lower price you quoted. Also, you didn't replace the valve - only repaired it which is way less work and not at all what was quoted and agreed to.
