You stated "We helped your mom with her issue and even sent a refund for the difference on what we normally charge to do the work, and the actual lower price we gave you." Here is your quote and our agreement "We can replace tomorrow. $255 with service charge and 6 month warranty.". My mom was charged (and paid) $305. You mailed a check for $50. Therefore she paid $255, which is not lower price you quoted. Also, you didn't replace the valve - only repaired it which is way less work and not at all what was quoted and agreed to. I don't consider any of this help as you stated. It's more like taking advantage of the circumstances and not doing what was agreed to or adhering to the quoted price. Called Superior Irrigation & Lawn out to replace a control box that they installed 3 years ago (it stopped working and said there was no warranty) and also to fix a leaking pipe. The jobs cost $513. A few days after job completion I went out to check on the property (it's pending sale). Grass was dry and dying. I called superior irrigation several times with no answer. I called a licensed professional to come out and diagnose the system. Wires had been installed incorrectly and dirt and debris was allowed to get in the pipes when they repaired it causing issues with 4 valves. $125 EACH!!! Superior Irrigation finally called back but it would take 5 days for someone to be able to come "LOOK" at it. When I expressed concerns and the status of the home the line was disconnected. Moral of the story. Stay away from this company. Choose a licensed technician, not a company where one member has a license but isn't the one on site doing or inspecting the work. read more

We were not quoted the price when work began on replacing some valves in our sprinkler system. When the work was finished and we balked at the high price, we were told to call the office. We asked for them to come down a bit, because it sure seemed like an overcharge. The office manager proceeded to call me a b**** and hung up. I've never felt so disrespected and unsafe in my own home. After a few minutes, I ended up paying the full asking price in cash, because I didn't want them to have any of our financial information. ~~ We were not quoted the price before, and your office manager only offered to come down $15. I would never in a million years consider using this company again. Although they are personally nice, they don't keep appointments and are completely unresponsive when trying to communicate with them. Here's the chain of events related to our dealings with them: -I called on July 24th and set up appointment for August 1st to fix sprinkler heads and assess programming of our sprinkler system. -On 8/1, they didn't show within the window they quoted, and there was no communication. I contacted them afterwards, and they showed up and completed the work (2 replaced sprinkler heads and I believe a main valve was replaced). Manny was very nice, explained what needed to be done, and completed the work. We made an appointment for additional work to be completed in our back yard on August 8th and the gave us a 1-hour window again. The price was roughly what we expected, so the value seemed to be ok until... -On August 2nd, the day after the work was completed, one of the sprinkler heads they repaired broke. I called the office and they said they'll make note of it and address it at our next appointment on August 8th. -On 8/8, there was absolutely no communication from the company. They not only did not show up in their appointment window, but they didn't show up at all and all calls went to voicemail. I did leave a voicemail with Evelyn, and never received a call-back. I called again on August 9th and August 10th, and there was still no answer and no response. -On August 17th (more than a week after they ghosted our appointment), I called back and got ahold of them. I asked what happened with our previous appointment, and they said they saw the appointment on the books but had no notes as to why they didn't show up. We were able to set another appointment to get the work done for August 22nd... -On our next appointment (8/22), nobody showed up during our appointment window again. I called and asked for an update, and was told he was running late because of rain in the area. I understood, and the driver later called and asked to reschedule to August 26th because of weather. I again went along with this, and was quoted a 9-10AM window. -On 8/26, nobody showed up and nobody called so I called the office number at 10:30 (after the appointment window), and there was no response. I then decided to call the driver's number, and there was no response. I left voicemails, and still nothing. I absolutely will not do business with a company that refuses to keep their appointments and also will not reliably communicate if issues arise. It is so incredibly unprofessional, and I wish I had never contacted them in the first place. read more

Had a $900 SAWS bill and suspected there had to be a leak but could never find it I call the office for an appointment and set one up for 2 days later the day of the appointment came and the guys showed up on time They quickly found a bad valve in the backyard that I never would have been able to find and yet another leaking valve that was the real culprit. they repaired them quickly then went through the entire system and made sure everything was working.Now I'm good to go great job you guys read more

I don't know what's a good deal, but this is my experience. First, Superior charges 35 dollars to have them come an do an estimate (35 dollars waived if you use them). I compared this to other businesses who came out for free, but did not get back with me or estimated really high with no details, and others who charge 90 to125 dollars to do an estimate. The Superior technician arrived in the time told to me and assessed my sprinklers. The charge was 30 dollars for repair of each pop up sprinkler and 45 dollars for repair of each rotor sprinkler. I agreed and he had everything done in about 2 hours which was what he said it would take him to complete the job and he did not leave until I was okay with the job. If there was a better deal, I did not come across it in the 10 businesses I was in contact with. read more
