I've had two deep cleans with them (2021 and 2024) and they put so much effort into doing a great job- both beforehand in preparing for the clean, and during the actual clean. My condo looks and feels so much better. They were so thorough! I was feeling a lot of conflicting emotions and guilt about hiring someone to clean my house but I was so overwhelmed with everything else apart from my house, and now I don't have the additional pressure of feeling like my house is dirty, so I'll say it was totally worth it. My place was in shambles. I haven't been in good enough health to clean my home properly for the past 3 to 4 months and was in desperate need of a deep clean. Eco-Friendly brought over a team and I'm so happy I chose their service. [SERVICE] I chose a deep clean service with multiple add-ons (window blinds, extra tub/shower scrub). Due to the size of our house we were provided with 4 cleaners who arrived exactly on time - I was so pleased that we were given 4 cleaners instead of the standard 2. But keep in mind, this depends on the service and add-ons selected as well as the size and condition of your home. It took 2.5 hours with the crew of 4. The cleaners that came were all so respectful, courteous and attentive to detail. I hope the next time I call, we get to have this same exact team. [QUALITY] I have two dogs (including a very furry Golden Retriever), and the amount of fur bunnies that roll around the floors and furniture is never ending. The areas underneath the beds and sofas were like deep, dark jungles of fur. After the cleaning service, it was so clean, I could see the reflection of my face coming off those floors. There was also this small, dusty Slytherin pin tumbling around my closet, someone even cleaned that. [PRICE] The price depends on the service(s) you're requesting (noting that a standard clean and a deep clean are different), the size of your house, and also the condition your house is in. With that being said, I was happy with the price I paid. I've tried Hux a few times and one other cleaning service in the Atlanta area, all of those charged less but the service and quality were not worth it. This is partly my fault. I didn't realize what had happened until a few days after the grace period because I was in a rush to leave town. The service was back on 7/27/22. I normally pay $100-$140 for my 900 sq. ft. apartment to be cleaned. I paid Eco-Friendly $225 for an initial "deep" cleaning. Jumping ahead in the story, not only was it not deep-cleaned, overall the cleaning was significantly less than I normally receive; plus the bathroom was not touched, except for Dazz's helper to making off with my makeup bag and all my makeup; and possibly something else, but not sure about that. The helper, Courtney, spent at least an hour in the bathroom yakking nonstop on a social phone call. I assumed she was also cleaning. Turns out she didn't *touch* the bathroom to clean. And when I searched for my makeup bag, which lived in the bathroom closet I realized it was not there, or anywhere else and no one else had been there in the intervening time. Since I had dashed off before realizing what had happened, my complaint didn't reach Eco in time. I am also at fault in not having looked in on the wily Courtney. But it wasn't that long afterwards when I emailed Eco. I think they said they would look into it and/or take some action, but nothing was done for me. No offer for them to come back and do a proper cleaning--not even an offer of a discount. Again--it was a few days after the brief grace period, but no offer to make up in any way for the rip-off-- in both senses. Dazz Roberts was fine. read more

I asked for a quote and received a rather expensive one for a company with so many limitations. First, they don't clean the inside of toilets unless you provide a toilet brush. I thought professionals use rubber gloves and their hands to clean inside a toilet as it's more effective than using a brush?! They don't clean inside freezers. They don't wash vent covers (despite the vent being covered in dust and no tools required to remove). They don't clean covered porches. They may not be able to get the stove clean and here's why: "Due to the nature of their eco-friendly cleaning products, all grime/grease may not be removed inside the stove." Isn't that where elbow grease comes into play?! One would think cleaning companies are paid to clean, and clean with some visible results. After reading the other reviews, I'm convinced this company is a joke and as Clark Howard would say "Mr Customer No Service." They would never last if Atlanta was a small town. Reputation is everything. Good luck to the poor souls who hire them. Glad I did not! read more

Wow, worst experience ever. First time cleaning and they were 20 minutes late. They did not clean my countertops - left baby formula everywhere, did not clean tables or floors adequately either. I called the owner, Alex, to give honest feedback so he could keep my business and do better next time. He made me feel like I was an idiot for calling to suggest changes and said I "should have straightened up" before they came over. I have newborn twins, yet I should have time to clean BEFORE the housekeepers come!? Wow. I have never in my life cleaned before the maids came. I gave the maids direct advice to move any of the baby items they needed to in order to clean. Plus, the first time we talked he asked me to provide feedback! When I tried to call and do just that, he talked down to me and tried to make it my fault!!! I was being nice and cordial on the phone, letting him know what was wrong with the service. He ended up hanging up on me. I did not raise my voice, cuss or anything to deserve that. This is a shameful way to treat a new client! read more

The team was very friendly and the customer service was great. The products smell really nice and management does a good job. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is 2 fold - 1) the price is a little too high compared to other maids around town and 2) the products need to be a little stronger. The bath products couldn't strip the mold out of my shower and the floor mopping wasn't a hot water mop - it was just a spritz and swiffer wipe :/ Overall the thoroughness of the deep clean I recieved was great. Clean fireplace and clean stovetop (stainless) were highlights. They did miss 1 or 2 spots - a region of baseboard had some coffee spill still untouched and some picture frames had a layer of dust still. But everyone is human and overall it was great to have someone else clean up after my messy pets and boyfriend {it's ok he knows he's messy ;) }! read more

Dustin and the crew did a detailed walk-through of our house, taking into account a few of our special requests and FYIs. The house was so clean after they left I could barely believe it, it was the first time I had walked in the door and thought "it FEELS clean in here now". I was a little hesitant to try out this cleaning service given that it was all green products. I just wasn't sure if they were going to be cleaning my counters with lemons, or that it would provide the same depth of bacteria fighting as the toxic products. But the smell alone of these products when coming home is enough for me to never go back to bleach products ever again! My apartment smells incredible! I have a small place, but the Rob and the crew were more than willing to spend the entire 2 hours and make it as impeccably clean as humanly possible--which they did. In fact I think they spent a little bit longer on it. And my bathroom is thankful for it. I'm more of a tidy-up-er than a cleaner, so while my apartment never appears messy, it's pretty dang dirty. And my bathroom was the worst of it. I did my usual after-the-fact inspection and I can't find a stitch of dust in this place. So impressed and will absolutely use them again. read more

First as a point of clarification for everyone: The company was started by Alex, then ownership transferred to Rob who drove it into the ground, and then it came back to Alex. I know this only because Alex came to do the cleaning at my house the very first time and we had a discussion about it. This is why you see some 4/5 star reviews and some 1 star reviews. I have been using EFMS for almost a year now and have found their service to be superlative. Not only do they do an excellent job of cleaning, but they are responsive and use good judgment. For example, I was out of town and had some guests staying over while a cleaning was scheduled. When they arrived and saw that people were there sleeping, they left and called me to ask when would be a good time to come back. I would highly recommend. read more

I originally wanted to give them four stars, because for a cleaning service that does not use chemicals, they did an exceptional job. I hired them to clean a house that I just purchased, which the previous owner left in an atrocious state. It was just plain filthy. I also hired them to clean my appliances: fridge, oven, etc. However, when I looked at my oven once I got home, it looked like they forgot to do it. It looked like it was left the same way before I hired them. I emailed them, and was informed that they tried to clean it for one hour. They suggested that their non-chemical use for the oven was not able to do the job, and I would most likely need to use some. I believed them and left it at that. Yesterday, however, I had to clean the oven, because no one can use the grimy mess the previous owner left. Before I used an oven cleaning solution, I wanted to see how much I could scrub with just water and a hard bristle brush. And with a lot of elbow grease and the brush, I was able to remove much of the grime in an hour. I had to use the cleaning solution to get certain areas out, but I feel a non-chemical method did most of the work. Also, as I was scrubbing with the hard bristle brush, I noticed the grime was getting scratch marks. So, I felt like I was lied to, or that they used minimal effort to clean the oven. Would I recommend Eco-Friendly Maid Service for their work, yes. They did a great job in places that they cleaned. The service deserves 4-5 stars. But because I felt they were not completely honest with me regarding the oven, I lowered my rating. In all honesty, they had people come to my home because I listed it as very dirty. They saw the condition of the oven, when I inquired about the service. They could have been forthcoming and said they couldn't do anything for that like they did with the dishwasher. read more

Since we've starting having Rob & the Eco-Friendly Maid Service come by once a week, I've seen a dramatic improvement in our living conditions. I mean, we spend more time at the office than at our own homes, and the Eco-Friendly teams helps keep it in top notch shape. I want to preface my review by saying that I have never hired a cleaning service before, and in general I don't like to pay someone to do something I'm capable of doing. However, this was the best money I've ever spent. I'm moving into a new (to me) apartment and arrived to find out that the previous tenant had left the place pretty filthy. Not "I'll vacuum it up" dirty, but "years of grime" filthy. I called Eco Friendly Maid Service upon recommendation of a neighbor and I feel so much better and less stressed about my move now. I got a deep clean, which was 3.5 hours. I used a Yelp deal and thought it was a great deal. I called on Friday afternoon and Wendy was at my apartment by 9am the next morning. She did a wonderful job removing years of grime from the bathtub, above the cabinets, the baseboards, and the floors. The apartment smelled wonderful after she was done. They use essential oils in their proprietary cleaning products, which I love. DEFINITELY recommend! Especially for stressful times like moving when you have to be in a million places at once. Since it was a move-out cleaning and I was pressed for time I didn't actually go see the end result, but here's what I can say... I was moving out of an apartment I had lived in for three years with a very hairy cat. That apartment was filthy. The nice girl who showed up to clean it didn't seem daunted in the least. The apartment is owned by a penny-pinching company who wouldn't hesitate to nickel and dime me for things left not up to snuff--and they couldn't find a thing wrong with the place! Alex from customer service was wonderful and worked with me to reschedule (multiple times) due to the previous tenants move-in schedule. I'm really picky when it comes to base boards and dust. This was my first time having cleaners so I was nervous. Prince and her manager did a wonderful job cleaning the apartment for my move-in. They got all the dog hair up and cleaned the base boards. I had a "deep clean" on my home yesterday, and I'm still wandering around my house trying to figure out all the little things they did that make it look so sparkly and shiny. Mirrors, cabinets, appliance fronts... It's all gleaming. And I do not know what they did to my hardwood floors, but they look beautiful and feel like satin under my bare feet. All of this without a hint of harsh chemical odor. The little details like a folded washcloth at the side of my tub and "hotel points" on my toilet paper were a cute bonus, but it was the power cleaning of a house with three big dogs that gets my five star review. While not the least expensive cleaning service, you should receive courteous service from cleaners who put in the effort to make things right. I learned of Eco-Friendly Maid Service by searching for cleaning services in the Atlanta metro on Yelp. Avoiding bleach and other chemicals are important to us, so we prefer to use eco-friendly alternatives as much as possible. I selected the deep cleaning for my first visit, which I assume is the default for new clients. Alex and Charlene arrived on my scheduled day and cleaned my 3bd/2ba home with hardwood floors in about 2 1/2 hours. I recorded a podcast in my home office during my cleaning, and they were very accommodating to work around that. It was no problem at all. All the details were addressed, including the inside of the microwave, stovetop, and tops of taller furniture (i.e. 6' bookcases). After a week, I haven't noticed anything that was missed. And if I do mention something, Alex said they document as much as possible in my client file so no matter who cleans the next time, they know what's important and what might have been missed in earlier visits. One recommendation would be to give more narrow appointment hours for my cleaning appointment, but I think that's easier for repeat clients rather than for my first deep cleaning. I've been wanting to hire a maid service to spruce up my new condo since purchasing it. Couple things to say about what I've experienced: 1) Great experience setting up the initial appointment . They got back to me pretty quickly, explained the process, and I'm a big fan of anyone with a web-based system and uses email for requesting appointments and whatnot. I was able to easily setup the initial appointment, and they asked questions that gave me confidence in their competency level right off the bat. 2) Very pleased with the initial deep clean! Amy did an excellent job, gave the place the attention it needed, and really made our space sparkle and feel super fresh without leaving behind lingering cleaning supply smells. 3) Looking forward to using their service again. :) read more

I was very impressed with the services provided by Eco-Friendly Maid Service. I was able to submit a quote on Sunday, schedule a cleaning on Monday and have the team come by on Tuesday and clean the house! It was effortless! The quote form allows you to put most of the details in there typed out, and they actually pay attention to them instead of asking you to repeat everything over the phone. Kathleen was friendly and very helpful with any questions I had. The finished product was great.I came home to a house smelling of clean! It was great. I have a beagle that sheds profusely and they were able to get pretty much everything up from under all furniture. There were a few spots missed, but the house had not gotten cleaned in so long that I know it will be taken care of next time. Within 24 hours I was contacted by Daniel who asked me for feedback. I've use Eco Friendly Maid Service several times now and I decided to write a review. The one thing I like about the cleaning service is that all the products are friendly to the environment. My wife and I are keen on using products that don't cause cancer or other health conditions. Some of the products used don't clean as well since the eco friendly cleaning products used don't have the standard harmful chemicals. So you have to pick your poison, do you want chemicals that really really clean but gives you a health condition or do you want products that are earth friendly. I chose the earth route. The staff is always friendly and will go beyond if you ask nicely. The owner Alex is easy to talk to and has allow me to make changes to my scheduled service when times doesn't permit me to be home for the cleaning. When there are issues Alex takes care of it immediately. Just call or send an email and Alex responds. I will definitely use this service again. read more

I'm very impressed with this company from the first time I click into their website. They have a check list detailing exactly what you can expect in a Deep Cleaning. In FAQs, they specify what home owners can do to get the maximum result: they clean as much as you allow them. This means that what's exposed will be cleaned so clients learned to tidy up as much clutter/personal items as possible. Such clarity is the biggest reason that I chose EFMS in the first place. Kathleen was very friendly and efficient on the email. She made sure I've read FAQs and asked about details like any instructions for pets (I have two cats). All these attention to details made me glad that I chose this company. And she is super pleasant! Adriana and Amora did a great job cleaning the place! They're also super friendly to both me and my cats. They finished before I came home and left a note specifying what they've done. I could literally feel how much cleaner my place became.
