Green Apple is one of those rare contractors that let their product and satisfied customers generate them new business, not sharp ads and by low ball quotes. They built us a good solid deck and 'providing us with a new look in our front and back yards. Our neighbors said we are trying to get into "House and Home' magazine. we had several trees planted, new sod and other plantings. I am glad we went with a professional company rather than a deck builder and a gardener. We had some water drainage issues in our yard that would have been a disaster for our new deck and garden if Peter and his crew had not assessed the problem and built us a french drains to siphon water away from the house. Green Apple is not cheap but they provide good value and will pick up the phone after their finished which gives them extra points in my book. Thx Green Apple.

Their service generally always seemed a bit pricey and was typically provided on a monthly, and not on a per-cut basis, paid via a credit card which they keep on file. My experience with the actual service performed was mixed, having returned through the summer to the property and finding that the lawn had in fact not been cut for quite some time, on a number of occasions. The excuses provided included that their equipment was needing repair, or that they could not get their riding mower through to the backyard because vehicles were parked in the driveway, even though a push mower could have easily accessed the back yard. In late 2024 my situation changed and I was able to look after the mowing myself so I contacted Top Notch to let them know that I would no longer require their services. In May of 2025 I found that my credit card was once again charged even though I was doing the work myself. I contacted them by phone and was assured that a refund was on its way. Not only did I receive no refund but my credit card was subsequently charged in June, Sept. and Oct. of 2025 and once again in June of 2026. I contacted Top Notch on several occasions both by phone and via email, and have received no response at all, and certainly no refund, apology or resolution of the extra credit card charges. Is this really a company that you want to deal with?
