I'm only giving them 4 stars though because during the estimate they suggested to also clean and refinish our granite counters, including repairing old grout and a crack. At the end, the counters look exactly the same, and the grout was done poorly, while the crack was done terribly with large pockets still open. We called them back and the original estimator came to complete the job. He finished the grout okay, but the crack looks terrible and messy with clear epoxy stuck on the counters around it. I really could've done that myself. My advice is use to them for floors or tile and pass on the add-ons.

Shows up one hour past the scheduled time...it happens, I understand, but maybe you should at least apologize and give me a heads up? Apologizing after I call you out is not comforting. Very nice in person, Takes measurements and discusses. This was a Friday, so I understand we might not get the estimate soon. I'm told, if not this weekend, I'll get it to you by Monday eod. No worries, that's reasonable. Heck, it can be any day, just do what you promise. Monday nothing. Tuesday nothing. Call Wednesday. Says I'm really busy, No apology until I call them out on what they promised. I didn't set the expectation, they did. I tell them, if we don't even have a contract and you're being like this, what am I to expect? Next day, I get a text about the room to be done, is it upstairs or downstairs, and the bathroom, is it being done? I'm totally confused, we never spoke about a bathroom and the room is upstairs. I get the quote finally. It's ~$30k more than another quote I got from a 5 star Yelp business. WTH. Looking deeper into the quote, it's talking about terracota tile and grout...we never spoke about that, we spoke what I already have downstairs, which is laminate. They even stated, that's a manufactured piece we can't get anymore but we can get something close to match. Don't always believe Yelp reviews, but I'd believe this one.

Long awaited review. Communication is serious lacking. Jesse was really nice and understanding at…read morefirst but his worth ethic is terrible. We were really patient and understanding because we get it he runs a business and we changed a few things here and there but it took 8-9 weeks to redo our very small bathroom. I can't remember the amount of times Jesse would say they would be here tomorrow and they wouldn't show up for a day even two with zero communication. We would have to reach out and ask when they're coming. Despite the communication and time it took to finish this project because again, they would skip days we paid them 10k(~70% of the total) before they finished. Why? They were asking for payment even though it wasn't complete. For some reason I felt bad it was taking so long and I know he had to pay his guys, but that's not really a me problem. I was 9 months pregnant and about to give birth we kept telling them we really need them to finish up(please actually be here to finish and/or bring more than 1 guy). They were unable to finish and I was home with a newborn and toddler while they finished it up. As soon as they finished they wanted to do the walk through asap of course to get the final payment. They didn't have the time to wait for my husband to do it- again I had just gave birth. So, I had to do the walkthrough without my husband and paid him. After my haze though I realized how terrible of a job they did with the tile; leaving chips, grout unevenness and less than 2 years later grout is falling out of in some places. For some reason they used 2 pieces on the door frame despite us having lots of framing material laying around. When I reached out a few months later to request he fix the severe grout issue he sent 2 highschool looking kids with a tiny $5 looking tool from home depot they just bought and within a couple hours they were gone. It looks worse than before. He never followed up after that. They started August 7th and the walkthrough was Oct 4th. We still need to get it fixed by someone else.
