I really can't fault these guys, they are fantastic at a fair price. I am new to the USA and there is so much I just don't know about running a business regarding taxes and accounting.......but that is the same for the UK, NZ and AUS, I'm useless at this stuff anywhere actually but it just seems sooooo much more convoluted, complex and confusing over here in the US. At first when I was offered additional services I thought, "here we go, the thin end of the wedge" but thank god I did take the payroll services as I would have been lost and penalized by now. Especially as I had to negotiate rules for Michigan, Georgia and I'm sure more states in the future with my S Corp. Eco-Tax were recommended by Inc File whom I chose to resister my S Corp. I took a long time in selecting a company for this also, by using bogus info on many different sites just to skip forward in their web pages to the charge-page to uncover hidden charges you usually only find out about after you have divulged your life story and personal details; Inc File came out on top and only got better by suggesting Eco-Tax as my CPA. Besides the support overall I get specialist Tax advice from Tony Khait....Tony does talk way over my head sometimes when explaining options and benefits vs drawbacks but seems to know his field back to front. I also have a Business Advisor Yanina Yafa who is on the ball. If she can't take my call on the spot, always gets back to me promptly with answers to my questions and is methodical in getting all the stuff submitted to various depts which needs to be. They have a portal for uploading all my docs so everything is transparent and as easy as it can be made. Oh yea, no one beats them on price, not even friends I have now made who are CPAs in Georgia. It all started when Joe Nagiub contacted me for a consultation from there he went above and beyond to make sure I had everything in line. In a time where customer service seems to go out the window once you sign up it was refreshing to have someone like him who called me personally a couple times to make sure I had everything I needed up and ready if it wasn't for this Id probaly have some penalties racked up. I had a very nice experience with Eco Tax. Although I didn't end up using Eco Tax's services I really enjoyed the free consultation. Everyone was not only very polite, but genuinely interested in making sure I got the service that was right for me. The online platform used to import documents is a really nice feature. The last thing I want to do while growing my business is rely on an accountant getting a scanned document via email, or worse, something mailed or dropped off to handle my taxes. Being able to scan documents and save them in a shared space is a huge bonus. I found it very easy to get ahold of someone if you have questions or concerns as well. Since I just formed my business and I'd like to see where things go this first year, I decided to manage the taxes myself, but I can certainly see myself utilizing Eco Tax's services in the future. Eco-Tax is a great firm. As long you communicate and respond to your handlers, whether they are bookkeepers, tax-accountants, or financial planners, they work magic. Tony is very experienced and knows exactly what he is doing. Staff is super friendly and fairly quick to respond ,the prices are really fair compared to other firms. My old accounting firm refused to help guide me in regards to PPP and EIDL loans. I wasn't even a client, and Eco-Tax helped me file the loans for my business, and reviewed my taxes for free! We signed up with Eco-Tax because they were suggested by our LLC creation provider. We've been very happy with their services thus far and really like the pricing model (larger chunk upfront, then set monthly fee for life). They were late to one call but we called them and got connected shortly thereafter. They very patiently answer all the questions we have. We have an assigned CPA who also has an assistant so a lot of questions go through the assistant first but we always get great service and response times.
