Parking lot looks like a salvage yard, complete with RV's someone clearly lives in NO staff Multiple rooms clearly lived in No locks anywhere, one door blocked by couch Room key did not work x4 Tub Dirty Showerhead busted No toilet paper holder Phone inoperable Remote inoperable No daily housekeeping, not even towels Horrible smell by the pool, carries everywhere Once beyond the pool smell, the rest of the place smells like curry ...and to top it off, someone was killed there 7 days before my stay. We paid about $65 for the night. As long as you keep your expectations within that price range, then it's a four star :) The front desk person (Neng?) was welcoming and very pleasant to work with throughout the weekend. When we got a key card to a room that either was already occupied or had not been cleaned up (?) -- she fixed the mistake immediately. The hotel room we stayed in, although dated, was clean and orderly. I found the bed & sheets to range from "okay" to "uncomfortable" depending on my sleeping position. The breakfast, though not amazing, provides calories. There is a waffle maker, breads, some fruit, various cereals, an egg/cheese omelette, and coffee. Hot Tip: If you want some quiet during the day -- make sure you request a room away from the poolside. My husband was trying to work on his laptop and/or nap in the afternoon -- it was impossible due to the noise level of children in the pool. Final Thoughts: If you're on a tight budget -- this is a good place. If you want a more typical hotel experience, you'll have to fork over an additional $40/night for one of the other places around town. read more

Zero stars! I should've read reviews before booking. The whole hotel smelled like smoke and mold. I'm pregnant and knew I wouldn't get any sleep with those smells. Our room was absolutely disgusting, worst hotel room I've ever been in. When we asked for a refund, the person at the kiosk said that management said, "Unfortunately, according to our policy, we cannot refund you your stay." We paid over $100 for ten minutes. They offered another room, but the whole place was gross. I argued that the room was not what was advertised online. The pictures look nothing like the rooms. We booked a suite, and our room was dirty, hair in the shower, dirty tub, paint peeling off the walls, and I'm still itching after reading reviews about bedbugs in the rooms. They don't have their advertised: continental breakfast (they have cereal that a short grey hair balding man shoved into the containers with his bare fingers) restaurant, hot tub, or exercise room, and are not set up for handicapped rooms. They will not cancel reservations when you find out they advertised products they don't have and when they promise side by side rooms you are lucky to get rooms on the same floor. On the good side: they will give you a scrub brush to clean filthy bath tubs if you complain. read more

worst weekend stay ever. I was woke up at 1 am cause the person I had staying with me in the room was bite up. From what? No one knows not even the staff knew what it was from. I was furious about this and the next day asked for a refund. The staff member told me I didn't have to move rooms and that they didn't know what she got bite by but I didn't have to change rooms cause of it. They also told her when she asked about it on Saturday morning that they have spiders. The rooms are the most disgusting thing ever I have never seen. Breakfast is just literally cereal and coffee. The pool smells nothing like it should and doesn't seem clean. Never staying here again. read more

When checking in the guy at front desk was respectful and helpful, all the other employees seem very stubborn. Our door was about to fall right off ; you had to lift the door up and shut it. Bathroom was a nightmare, blood stains all over the towels with long strings of hair sticked to them, gunks of green stuff around the sink area as well as all around the corners of the bathroom. Shower drain was clogged, water built up in the tub very quickly. Hallway looked haunted do to very shortage of lights. Its wasn't worth the money, I won't comeback here again. read more

Currently undergoing renovation and rebranding as Clarion hotel. It certainly needs it. Furnishings are outdated and in disrepair. Bedding and furniture are shabby. Pool is closed. Breakfast was practically nonexistent (couldn't even find coffee cups). The price was right but I will not stay there again unless the renovation turns out to be major. read more

Where to start with this hotel. We get in the room, and there were dirty cotton swabs all over in the bathroom. Hair all over the place as well. I go to then turn the sink on, and water pours out from the bottom of the sink. More than half of the water that came out of the faucet was also falling out of the water supply onto the floor. Needless to say, the floor was covered in water in no time. No screens on any of the Windows. When I had came out to my car the next morning, there were empty beer bottles all over the grass behind my car. Never again will i stay at this hotel. Stayed couple weekends in a row, rooms not clean good, staff very unfriendly. Called down for towels and toilet paper and I got yelled at and said NO not till Monday when housekeeping is here. I still had 1 more day and no t.p and clean towles. Next weekend booked room and they decided to charge a 100$ deposit which they NEVER DID BEFORE. Just plain out rude when I checked in. Every room should be clean due to the Corona virus! I had to disinfect my room myself and go to the local Walmart and pick up toilet paper and a towels because they refused to give me them. read more

Upon arrival we find plywood on exterior windows. The reception/check in desk was a folding table sitting in the lobby. Should have ran at this point. Receptionist could not figure out our reservation and called a manager from her cell phone. She was told to give us keys and they would figure it out later. The pool area was covered in mattresses and headboard/bedframes boxes. No chairs to utilze in the pool area. The hallways were packed with more boxes and the room numbers were taped to the door with blue painters tape. Keycard did not work. Waited again in the lobby to have another card issued while the Receptionist tried to check in a lobby full of workers while still having computer problems. When able to get in the room dirt and mold was in the shower. While dust and cobwebs hung out the corner of the walls. Smell. Lets talk about the smell. Smoke!! We were told oh dont worry about the smell. There was a recent fire hemce the plywood on the windows and they were working to repair the damage. So disappointing! read more

Had a great stay here last summer ! The room was clean and quiet, the beds weren't infested with bed bugs, and the room was comfortable and clean, including the bathroom ! Because some hotels / motels seem to be cool with leaving a little bit of soap scum and mold in their bathrooms, but not here ! And the pool was relaxing. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but the Hmong woman who works at the desk was very helpful and personable. read more

I and one other guest decided to get away from the kids for a night. So we rented a room in town. And it was by far the worst experience that I had ever had. The manager was very harassing, extremely rude, went to the extent of stereotyping. He was degrading, belittling, and by far one of the most unprofessional managers of an establishment that I have ever experienced in my life. After checking in, he proceeded to follow me n my friend outside and interrogated us. Asking us harassing and Prejudiced questions that were completely irrelevant to my stay. And all of this was after he falsely stated he was the owner of this establishment. I guess if you are looking for horrible service right along with harassing comments and crummy guy in a suit following you around, you should try this place. But if you want any sort of respect you won't go there. Save yourself the time money and stress. My air conditioner is partially broke horribly smeared mirrors in the bathroom right along with some hair in the bottom of the bathtub. Would be scared to check this place with a black light. No pool, and inadequate handicap accessibility. So much so I had to ask 2 strangers to help assist me with bringing my physically disabled daughter up to the entrance of the hotel. Quite disgusted that that manager would be so disrespectful and unprofessional. read more

The pool room is not properly ventilated and is strikingly hot and humid. The linen is not replaced for multiple night stays. The grass is all dead outside, and ugly. The manager is rude. Our rented banquet hall for $600 required 15 contacts to get it cleaned, to get proper number of tables. They strung 50 feet of extension cord because outlets were blowing. The ext cords were taped to the floor. They had filthy chairs for 144 at my event. I had to ask they be cleaned 3 times. The ceiling tiles in bathrooms were sagging and moldy. The whole room smelled bad due to a flood in the room a few days earlier. Don't go here, it's a dump. read more

We stayed here for two nights during our US tour, for our comedy show. It was a great value. The best part of the service was the front desk attendant (Amy) who went the extra mile to make sure we had a room with a microwave & fridge, even though we forgot to request it when we first booked the room. It was a comfortable "home like" room with a view of a park/forest instead of just a freeway. There are some great walking trails and a swimming lake within walking distance. We will make sure we stay here the next time we come through Stevens Point read more

Nice hotel with a cool layout. All the rooms surround an indoor courtyard with a pool, hot tub, billiards table. But the rooms are surprisingly quiet. They're clean, comfortable and have good water pressure. The hotel is right off the highway and close to lots of restaurants. I recommend a sushi place called Matsu Ya. This is a horrible establishment. Their policies are horrible. Also do you not use the Priceline app. I used the priceline app on my phone to book a room in Two Harbors, Minnesota. The GPS reset my location and I ended up booking a room in my hometown. Their policy is that they cannot cancel the room when on the priceline app unless it's at least 90 days in advance. However I made the reservation 28 days prior to the reservation. There is no possible way I could've met that criteria when I booked with in the 90 days. So if you ended up making a mistake you're screwed do not ever stay with Econolodge. Especially the one in Stevens Point. Parrulli they are perfect and they never make mistakes. read more

If I could leave no stars, I would. Stayed here last year, no problems. This time here is not a great experience. I had to check in late, and when I got here, they did not assign a room, no big deal. When I did get the assigned room, I walked into the bathroom with a dirty towel on the floor and a "used " toilet. Went to front desk, she assigned another room, this one was clean. But when I flushed the toilet, it didnt work. Was told a note would be left for maintenance. Went down in the morning, no note was left, seriously?? Was told by the morning crew the maintenance guy doesn't work on weekends, but maybe they would have him come in later. No offer to switch rooms, no offer for a comp for 1 night, nothing. If I could afford to switch hotels, I would. NOT staying here again. read more
