Stayed one night and was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and fresh-smelling--no odors, which is always a big plus. It was quiet, and parking was easy. Breakfast was convenient, waffles, bananas, yogurt, cereal and hard boiled egg. The bed wasn't as comfortable as higher-end hotels, but comfortable. Excellent value overall. read more

This was the best Econo Lodge we've ever stayed at! The desk attendant, Wade, was super friendly as was all the members on staff. It was a very pleasant interaction and left a positive experience. The floors don't have carpet, yay!!! And the moment we opened the door we were met with a fresh, clean smell. The beds were inviting and we slept so great we missed breakfast LOL. We have two small dog. Upon entry they did not look for a place to sniff (like where other dogs have peed). The bed King size was clean and made nice and tight. Everything smelled fresh. Very CLEAN! This place rocks. Budget motel but clean and staff is courteous and helpful. There's an outdoor pool and it is open 24/7 seasonally unless people get rowdy. We were there from Friday to Monday and there were no shenanigans. Howard Patel, the manager, is great. Always checking in to make sure your stay is good. will stay again! I don't know why the lodging in this little nothing of a town is so expensive, but we were just looking for a convenient, budget friendly place to stay overnight so we chose this little motel. I guess we were expecting something slightly nicer based on the reviews. Wade at the front desk was super friendly and helpful so that's a plus, but the owner - although well-intentioned I'm sure - was a bit intrusive at breakfast. The breakfast selection itself was minimal and heavy on the carbs but they did have a waffle machine so that was nice. The only problem is, as I approached the waffle maker, the overbearing owner took a cup of batter that had been sitting out at the side of the machine (for how long, I have no idea) and proceeded to pour it on the waffle iron for me. That didn't sit well with me at all; I had no idea how long it had been out or if anyone had touched it. As it turned out, I didn't get sick so I guess its was okay, but the whole experience didn't sit right with me. read more

Our room was on the first floor, easy access to the car. Free parking a plus, Internet and a decent morning breakfast included. For a motel moderately priced, our room was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and great pillows for a perfect night sleep! The staff were friendly and helpful. I would return again if passing through town! read more

So it's not a luxury resort, but the customer service at this place is insurmountable. Better than that of the many expensive places we've visited. We arrived here at Econolodge in Lenoir City for a funeral, and the manager (Mr. Bali) was nice enough to allow us to check in early to get situated before the funeral service. He did not have to do that at all. He saw me walking with waffles, eggs, and bananas, and offered me a tray. Such amazing customer service. I appreciate that hospitality so much! The rooms were immaculate and clean. The housekeepers were extremely nice and accommodating. We all slept well, no noise, no loud traffic sounds, we were tucked away. Breakfast area was spotless and sufficient. If you want sausage, bacon, eggs, there are restaurants yards away from this hotel. We opted to stay here for a more economical stay and ate breakfast at the local restaurants walking distance away. You won't regret staying here. We will always stay here every time we visit Lenoir City, TN. read more

We are in town for the eclipse. The hotel is very clean and floor looks recently updated. No carpet which is very nice. The gentleman that works at the front desk is super nice and helpful. What an excellent budget motel. The entire facility is superbly maintained. The obviously detail oriented owner, himself, can be seen cleaning and watering the garden. The rooms have fresh paint, expertly applied. All plumbing is like new, cleaned and functions perfectly. The bed and bedding is very comfortable and as nice as you can find anywhere. I've stayed in Hyatts that had bedding that was not as comfortable. Most importantly, the room was immaculate. We will stay here any time we are in the area. read more

After 9hrs on the road I pulled off of I-75 and drove into the first hotel I saw which happened to be the Econo Lodge. The site online said it was fully booked but I went into the lobby anyways and they did have a room available. The guy at the front desk (I don't remember his name as I was beyond tired at this point) helping me was very friendly and got me checked in right away. The lobby area was clean and nicely decorated. The owners of this hotel and the people working here are doing a great job, the appearance of it was nicely kept, and the staff was friendly. We got to our room and it was clean and comfortable looking. We did like that the room had a microwave as well as refrigerator. The beds were comfy and had some sort of pillow top mattress topper on it and the comforter kept us warm as we turn the ac way down. We went to the breakfast they offer and my son had a waffle and I had the coffee. It was standard but filling fare. Also shout out to the guy at the front desk In the morning he was super helpful and nice to us. I felt very safe staying here with my son and would use this location again. read more

I had high expectations for this hotel based on the reviews I found here and other sites. A lot of the stuff in the room was broken like the toilet handle and the telephone and there was a big scratch across the television. It seems like half of this hotel is where people live rather than just stay for the night. The walls are very thin, The carpet has cigarette burns in it and the amenities are less than ample. The bed was okay but I wouldn't call it comfortable by any means and the pillows were pretty crappy. I usually check for bedbugs when I arrived but I had driven from Miami all the way to Tennessee so I just wanted to lay down. Well, i'm pretty sure I picked up a bedbug or two there. Mystery bites that I cant explain otherwise. The location is good and the Ruby Tuesday's that's down the way is much better than the reviews suggest. There are several other hotels in the area so if I was stopping here again I would probably pick another one. I believe the room cost $68. This included continental breakfast but that only included things that you would categorize a sugar and carbohydrates. If you read my other reviews you can see that my standards are too high at a hotel but this one just seems a little bit subpar for even me. read more

About what you'd expect for a low-cost chain hotel. One non-smoking room was pretty smelly of old smoke, another room not so bad. Both rooms had old-style televisions and no pay per view. The conti breakfast had bananas, muffins, danish, coffee, juice. For the price, you could do worse. Wi Fi worked well. read more

Excellent for the money. We had a detour on our way home from FL and tried from Marietta, GA all the way to Lenoir City, TN - tried calling for 5 hrs anything along I75. Everywhere was all booked up and we were desperate to find something, anything as it was almost 3am and we were traveling with a 3yr old and 7week old. We don't usually go to Econolodge bc some previous experience with them were less than ... Clean. I am a major germaphobe, especially with a 7wk to worry about. I was so satisfied when we walked in and the room was nice and clean, I didn't even hesitate to climb in bed with our girls. The sheets, and towels were all so soft and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay at this location again and highly recommend it, even to the pickiest of germaphobe! read more

We stayed here on a trip from Florida back home to Ohio over Christmas break and we were very happy with this hotel. My main concerns on a quick overnight stop are safety and cleanliness and this Econolodge passes with flying colors! My kids claim I am a germaphobe and my standards were met. We also appreciated that they could accommodate our family of six in one room with a rollaway bed--it saves us a ton of money to not have to get a second room. The manager/owner was very nice and professional and emphasized that we should call him if we needed anything at all. The continental breakfast included coffee, juice, bagels and pastries which were all fresh and tasty. The area around the hotel was very commercialized (right off the highway so expected) and not scenic (unless you like looking at the boat dealership next door like my husband) but quiet at night and safe. Our family of 5 with 3 children stayed one night while traveling from MI to FL. It was the only hotel in the area that was priced well w/queen beds. They honored our coupon & gave us a very clean & quiet room. The lady checking us in was friendly & efficient. The manager is very friendly and was so kind to help us with getting our breakfast without being a bother. He takes pride in this hotel and it shows. The lobby was immaculate as was the lobby bathroom.
