This was really nice. This wonderful employee advised me of the amenities, including the free breakfast in the morning starting at 6 AM. My room was exceptionally clean, the bed was super comfortable, and I loved the three pillows on the king bed. The couch was comfy to watch the big screen look like 52 inch TV, that that produced amazing colors on the welcome screen, even though I didn't watch anything else The refrigerator was a nice touch, to keep my travel items cool during my stay. Also included with a dishwasher and microwave, along with a stainless steel sink. I loved the bathroom with the showerhead and the ease of getting in and out of the shower. Plenty of towels were on the end, even though I didn't take any! This room was somewhere around $160 for the night and well worth it. It's clean, there's no bugs. There's no worries, the breakfast is great, the personnel are so welcoming and gracious. There are plenty of choices for dining out around here, but I noticed most were fast food. I'm not sure they even cleaned it after the last guest (pictured). So on top of the nasty cleaning, I get to smell feet all night. Just what I want after a full day of driving. Absolutely horrendous. Oh, and the right-side elevator has a pneumatic issue, so enjoy the ride. Makes me want to ignore my Hilton Gold and book elsewhere.

The staff was great, walking around filling up coffee, checking on you, cleaning tables etc... I felt like I was a local diner! You pay a little more ($179 after taxes on a Saturday) but it is worth it!

So we went to another Marriott and thankfully was better. I will say the receptionist Jordan was very apologetic and we could tell he was nervous about the situation. He was very sweet and well spoken even in the stressful situation. The reason this is so upsetting is not only did we have two small children but our youngest being on the spectrum, she needed room to stim and not be freaked out after she learned there was staples on the ground. We WERE faithful Marriott members and almost exclusively used them but we are reconsidering who we trust to have our family stay with.

False advertising, horrible customer service, and no effort to correct the situation…read more We are on the road all the time and stay in hotels more than most people. Because we've been working on the road for three months now and driving hundreds of miles most days, we specifically booked this hotel because of its advertised hot tub, paying a higher price for the accommodation than other area hotels in order to treat our backs, sore from all the driving. To make sure the hot tub was working and available, I wrote to the hotel the day before to make sure it was operational and they wrote back to tell me that it was. I did this before the cancellation window closed, just to be sure. When we checked in the next day, they told us the hot tub was not working. I told the clerk that the reason we booked this particular hotel at a higher price than surrounding hotels was specifically for the hot tub. Then I showed them the message that they wrote to me yesterday saying the hot tub was working. The clerk's response was simply "it WAS working yesterday." Wonderful. They told me they'd be happy to cancel my reservation and suggested I find another hotel. As a seasoned traveler, I always book hotels well in advance in order to get the best price and the greatest availability. Here it was 3 o'clock on the day I needed the hotel and I could find nothing comparable to what I thought I was getting at best Western Plus in Richmond Hill Georgia. They could have offered me partial compensation, points, or something other than "we'll cancel this and you can go find another hotel." I'm taking their false advertising issue to the Better Business Bureau, and I would not recommend anyone stay in this hotel if they want to be assured that they'll get what they paid for.

Friendly Staff, Musty Smells, Loud Noises…read more Musty Smelling Room 225. I kept sneezing and sneezing. There was some weird noise like a pigeon outside the window much of the night. The pool was refreshingly warm! The hot tub was crazy hot. The pool is pretty tiny but being warm made it nice. The pool room is pretty unmaintained. Rusty vents and maybe never cleaned floors? Breakfast was about what you expect. Good bacon and pancakes. The Orange Juice was set to a crazy concentrate so you need to add water or it's really strong. Artificial eggs I'm guessing gave me my explosive bathroom break an hour later. The lobby looks cozy and maintained, but the little pantry room is a mess and the door should probably stay shut. The bed wasn't very cozy. The fridge is pretty loud as is the AC in our room and the neighbors. A couple times there was an incredibly loud sound like I was taking off in an airplane coming from outside. I don't know what it was. You really hear lots of noises. The room was repainted with a sprayer and whomever did it got it in the ceiling and didn't care. The room was a good deal so I would give 3 out of 5 stars, but that's largely because of price.

I can understand this if I was a first time customer or cancelled the night before; but as a IHG Silver Elite member 10 days in advance - this was not the response I anticipated. The room was dated - which would not have been an issue being that this is a value motel. But it didn't seem clean. Armchair was worn and sunken. Bathtub was stained, bedding was worn. Y'know it's kinda bad when you are hesitant to lay anything on the floor or even on the armchair or bed. I put all my things on the desk and made sure whatever food I had leftover was wrapped well before trashing it so bugs wouldn't be attracted. The electrical outlet by the bed was wonky - it sparked a bit when I plugged in my phone charger so I plugged it in elsewhere. So, oddly enough it seemed like the room was in the process of being renovated - it had a granite bathroom counter and LVP flooring. All that aside...the common grounds were well-manicured. The pool, firepit, volleyball court & outdoor seating areas were inviting. Front desk people were friendly. Breakfast was standard American continental fare.

It was dirty and the air smelled so bad of mold and urine that it actually made our nostrils sting. We both woke up with congestion and burning throats. There was water puddles near the window I don't know if there is a leak but that room should not be allowed to be rented out until the issues are addressed. We have used Quality Inn in the past but in the future I will have to personally inspect before committing. $80.60 is highway robbery for such a room.

The hotel itself was clean and well maintained but the customer service at checkout was terrible. The front desk associate was rude, dismissive, and had a nasty attitude from the start. When I asked for a receipt, I was told I had already been checked out at 11, even though I clearly communicated I needed a 12 PM checkout. Instead of fixing the issue, she doubled down with attitude. I travel about 65% for work and stay in hotels constantly. Customer service makes all the difference, and this was one of the worst checkout experiences I've had. Because of that alone, I will never return to this location. If this is how guests are treated, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I discovered Hampton Inns in the mid-1980's. As a "poor, starving, graduate student", I became a loyal fan when I came across a new, sparkling clean, and safe (room doors open into a secure hallway) for ~$50 a night (~$170 a night in 2026). Things have changed and I have written off Hampton Inn many times only to be lured back by the friendly staff and best free breakfast in the business.
