There was staff keeping the machines clean at all times as well has bringing me a drink anytime mine got low. Our room was a double queen and it was quite spacious and very clean. The bathroom was large and clean and came stocked full of fresh towels as well as pleanty of quality soaps and shampoo. I got lunch at the deli and the hamburger they made me was phenomenal. Hand pressed patty with fresh vegetables for toppings. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I will certainly be back next time I come through South Dakota.

They had a regular tub/shower in the bathroom. The whole hotel was very clean with friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. Controlling the A/C from a thermostat was nice and it worked well. WiFi was good and breakfast ok. The star for me was the hot tub! I didn't want to get out! We were there for two days, so I made sure I got my money's worth. They had a regular hot tub and indoor pool that looked nice, but we didn't use it. I would highly recommend this place and spending a couple more ponies for the jacuzzi room.

The 1st night i stayed here i went to work came back to my room @ 2am, the lock on my door did not open, the lock didnt work, @ 2am i was exhausted and JUST WANTED TO GO TO BED! I really tried to open the door until my hand started hurting from trying to turning the key. but of corse i couldnt get back into my room. So i had to call all the numbers on the front office door. No answer. 230 am, knocked on the residents door who lives in the front office. So i didnt have to sleep in my car that night when i paid for a motel room. Then the girl who lives in the front office who works there bitched @ me for waking her up in the am. If u did your job right i wouldn't have to be waking you up. Like oh i dont know made sure all the locks on the doors worked. The next day they chAnged the locks to a lock that wont lock me out. I wonder how long its been since someone else stayed in that room. I paid for a week and left 2 days early b.c. u get no refunds. I found a bug in my bed, not a bed bug, but some kind of bug looked sorta like a tick u can get lyme disease from those things i killed it. And the microwave and tv outlet blew didnt work when i had the microwave on so if i was using the microwave the tv, mini fridge, and microwave would shut off and id have to turn it back on. I checked out 2 days early b.c. i didnt want to be there b.c. of the living conditions. My face was breaking out thinking cause the sheets where dirty. And the horrible service. I shouldnt have to tell them about all these things they shoukd have the rooms checked and made sure everything works and if it has bigs or not. I tried to check out early but no one was in the office @ 3pm on a sunday. There office hours are NOT POSTED on the front office door so how are people suppose to know when someone will be there to check out? Had to wait a hour to check out and get my 25$ deposit back. Im waiting right now she says it will take a hour for her to get back but it wouldnt surprise me if it took longer for her to get back. And to return the key to her im allready leaving early so its not like they are not losing money from me i dont want them to have my 25$ deposit b.c. why would i give more money to a company i am not happy with? Asked them to fix it and Brandi said they couldn't. She told us we could buy some drank and plunge it. The staff is 100% unprofessional. Banging on peoples doors, calling the cops every chance they get. They definitely racially profiled people. One of our workers was accused of passing fake $100 bills which was 100% false. Another guy paid a full months rent, about an hour later he was told he would be leaving the next day and they refused to refund his money. Sarah gossips about every person there. Accusing everyone of sexually harassing her. They did this to MANY people!! If the health department were to go into this place there is no way it could stay open. The heaters did not work, they air conditioner had about 20 years worth of nicotine and dust build up on them. I literally tore this room a part and scrubbed it from top to bottom and it still looked and smelled atrocious. Motel 6 is even nicer than this place. The pool area, which is supposedly a highlight, was overcrowded and not well-maintained during my visit. The worst part was the noise. THEN you see the blue light is actually a laser cannon from Star Wars and will instantly detach your retinas and remove that pesky tattoo you've had regrets about most of your life. All this blue light even though the concourse lights shine in brightly under the door, around the window blinds. 8:00 in the morning and there is no coffee in the place. What an utter disappointment. I could see if it were in a 3rd world country, but this is a decent city. Why would anyone ever stay here? The up side? The room is large enough to accommodate a 'full' bed with room to spare. Apologies to my wife for rolling over on her multiple times while trying to get comfortable on the center-sloping contraption with the comfort rating of an army cot. Please bulldoze this place and build a prison. It would be more comfortable.

First off, shout out to the staff, they are absolutely phenomenal, very friendly and helpful! Both check-in and checkout was a breeze. The inside is super clean, from the lobby, to the pool area to the gym, the hallways and the rooms. The bedding was comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Shower had hot water and the pressure was decent. The complimentary breakfast was not bad at all. I used the pool (& the slide) and the fitness area while I was there. There is a 24 hr C-Store within the hotel, next to the lobby and the hotel is located next to a truck stop/gas station so everything is available. If and when I am back in this area, I will make a point to stay here.

The exterior is well landscaped with mature shade trees and green lawns. The management was very accommodating and let me host a gathering for 15 my family members who lived in town. We used the meeting room to sit and talk, remember old times and relax with drinks and pizza. I highly recommend The Days Inn in Watertown.
