If the owners responses to reviews aren't enough of a clue that this place is beyond unprofessional, here has been our experience. While our initial showroom experience was positive--Randy was helpful and attentive--the service quickly deteriorated after we made a deposit. Getting in touch with anyone became nearly impossible. Calls and messages went unanswered, forcing us to call multiple times just to get an answer and have to repeatedly visit the store in person just to complete basic steps that should have been handled in a single visit. Even then, things weren't ready as promised, and we couldn't take the boat home when expected due to the table not being installed. As first-time boat owners, we asked for a thorough walkthrough and some guidance, but were met with impatience and condescension. The "orientation" lasted only a couple of minutes, and staff seemed eager to rush us out rather than help. They couldn't even be bothered to stand outside and help get the trailer on the hitch. They also forgot to give us key items, including the boat cover and a necessary pole, which required multiple additional follow-ups that went unanswered, and another trip to the store. To make matters worse, customer service was outright hostile. After multiple attempts to resolve the missing pole, one associate called back and immediately became verbally aggressive that we are the problem and proceeded to hang up on us. We've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. All we've asked for is returned phone calls, answers to our questions, and some support as new boat owners. Even after spending $40k with them, this is apparently too much to ask of Boat World, their owner, and associates.

It also increases your chances of being a satisfied customer. I also love convenience. If I could "Rule the World (Thanks Tears for Fears), I would have all of my favorite items within a couple of blocks of my home. Well Mark's Prop Shop is nowhere near my home. In fact its almost an hour away. What Mark's Prop Shop is, is the best prop shop that I have ever been to. I have been going to Mark's for over 10 years now. Mark's work is incredible. We all make mistakes in life. The mistakes we make when our prop hits a rock or rocks is about as bad as it gets in a boaters world. When you take your prop to Mark, he can repair that prop and make it look brand new! I wonder if I could see him for confession too? Just like I recently said to him on my latest visit, I hope to see you again but not too soon. His work is that good, but too soon would mean that I found some more rocks or otherwise did damage to my nice prop. Most of the guys I know from fishing all go to Marks, he is just that good. I feel their cost is affordable and they are very efficient. A brand new stainless steel prop retails for about $600.00 or more. For about $100.00 mine looks brand new. I dropped my prop off about a week ago and I know they were really busy with the nice weather we have had and the fishing opener coming up. My prop was done in a week and I am back in business. Mark is with out a doubt the best in the business. If your prop got into a fight with some rocks and lost, check out Mark's Prop Shop!

Great customer service in the service department!…read more Sales are important but once you buy your boat the service you receive afterwards is far more important. I did not purchase my boat at Hallberg Marine so the fact that their service department has serviced my boat and trailer extremely fast, job well done, and at a fair price is even more of a testament to their service department. I recently had to have my boat in twice in 2 weeks for major issues and Hallberg's service department fixed my boat in record time and it was done right and at a more than fair price. I was surprised both times I saw the bill. They could have charged a lot more. A special shout out to Jimmy in service who is knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Because of him, I'll continue to go to Hallberg Marine and recommend them to friends and family.

Adam was very professional and has the patience of Jobe ! I bombarded him with questions and emails. Best part is he knew most of the answers but was very clear if he didn't but always researched the correct answer. Even better he responded to long emails with questions very quickly which was even more amazing given my recent car buying experience! He kept me informed as to the pontoon delivery date and was very flexible on pickup time. He even was able to arrange a bunk trailer for us to bring in our trade in for free! He participated in the boat checkout process and added a lot of helpful comments. The pricing at Hallberg beat the competition by miles! They also gave us more for our trade in than the competition! I am a cynic and usually not very complementary about car/boat dealerships but Hallberg Marine is the best you are going to find!!! If you are in the market for a boat or pontoon you won't be disappointed with Adam and Hallberg Marine !!

I had tried everything that I could think of before bringing it to them. During drop off, I went over the list of things that I had tried only to be billed for those exact things. A month later I received a text saying the total was $750 for all the time spent. When I called to question the amount (I didn't expect it be for nothing) Shawn (The owner) decided to get heated and use the F word in every sentence. Assuming they were Trailer experts was the only reason I brought it there since I am not. After the unprofessional call, he texted me saying he would reduce the bill. Brought it down to $540 for labor. When I returned home with the trailer and went inside, they had left all the wiring, parts and wrappers thrown thru out. That was the first and will be the last time ever bring anything to that business. (My spare tire on the back of the trailer was punctured as well. I planned on replacing it anyways but it was still holding air when I dropped the trailer off)
