These people were incredible. I called them and was helped by Aimee who was VERY courteous, helpful and just a joy to talk to. She help me set up the appointment for what I needed done. When the moving crew came out they were just as cheerful to deal with as was Aimee. They were VERY professional, knew their job and went right to work. They packaged all my stuff, loaded it into the truck, took it to the new location, unpacked it and set all up where I wanted them. And all done before the minimum time estimated keeping costs low. We got several quotes and this place was the cheapest by far. Four guys, two moving vans, the absolute most professional job. They were so fast moving our 7,000 square foot office. Ourselves and my mother-in-law were moving across country. Paul came to our house to figure the quote and then went across town to figure my mother-in-laws. We accepted the quotes and got things going with Linda. Linda was amazing to work with all through the move. She even contacted us on our delivery day to see how things were going. On move out day the moving van arrived and the driver and three guys loaded our things up in about two and a half hours drove across town and loaded up my mother-in-laws things. Excellent experience from start to finish! Starting with Paul, Aimee, Jaelyn to the heavy lifters, Andrew, Juan, Jo-Jo, and Vinny. The crew arrived on time. They quickly & efficiently moved boxes, disassembled & wrapped furniture. The truck was fully loaded within 5-6 hours and then everyone was in route to So. Cal. These guys were awesome. I had a late change of move date and the other company I had was not available. My wife found Economy movers and they were available. They ended up being cheaper than the other guys. They showed up with (4) guys and got right to work. Covered everything and started loading up. They made sure to ask me constantly what was being taken and when arrived at the second home they were attentive to where items were supposed to go. They had great care with my items! I was surprised how quickly they got everything out. And they came with a huge truck that fit everything in our 1600sq ft home. read more

Their office staff was very easy to communicate with. Their movers (Ivan, Joseph, and Diego) showed up early and worked quickly and efficiently (and in 100-degree weather, no less!). Abi, Joseph and Benny helped us move from a 3BR/2BA one story house to a 5BR/3BA two story house. We only had 2 days to vacate our house and without hiring them it would have been impossible to move our heavy items (washer, dryer, treadmill, and beds upstairs; a piano downstairs). The whole process took 8 hours, which was honestly quite efficient based on the volume of what we had to move. They were efficient, friendly, hard working, and also worked quickly. These three gentlemen were as good at their jobs as any professional. Economy's prices were fantastic, to boot! My family was moving 20 minutes away to a different city. I did a Yelp quote with several agencies & chose Economy Movers. The receptionist confirmed via, phone call, email a week prior, and text the day beforehand. I already boxed my household items. The 3 gentlemen came on time & asked what was going (as in boxes & furniture) and what was staying. The moving truck was HUGE (a big rig) and was able to take all of our things in 1 trip. I'm used to Uhaul back & forth, the last time I moved was 15 years ago lol. The boxes were placed carefully; no boxes or furniture were damaged during entire process. They dismantled my kids' beds for the move & reassembled them. The heavy furniture was placed neatly exactly where I wanted & not just haphazardly in corners. The movers were friendly, respectful of both properties, and delicate with our belongings. I pray WE DO NOT EVER HAVE TO MOVE AGAIN, should we have to though I will be calling Economy Movers. read more

Andrew even had the experience to take apart our Sleep Number Bed (and put back together) which was no easy feat. I used this service to move commercial restaurant equipment to my home. The minimum was 3 hours and the job was completed in 1.5 hours. The crew arrived on time (which rarely happens any more these days), worked efficiently as a team evaluating the items and best method to load them. Because there was additional room and time, I asked them to transport a few other large items which they did. The men were knowledgeable and experienced and worked as a team communicating well. if I can give a negative star I definitely would, I called united van lines to do out of state move, they made me think that they actually care what I had going on. First of all the movers who came to pack my stuff, 2 out of the 3 was working, one of the men decided it was okay to have shots and beer while on the job: and once they was done one of the guys try to grope me on my butt, not once but TWICE!! I called to file a complaint and all they told me it was under investigation, also I did make a police report as well. My coordinator which was Linda G. she assure me that everything will be taken care of and handled, and my stuff would not be tamper with, since I did tell on the guy who try to sexual harass me. I purchases 4 wardrobe clothing boxes and only got one on my move in day; I packed all my stuff myself. So my stuff that came in these other boxs were moved from one box from the other and I have no idea why, some of my clothes is missing, My pillows for my couch is missing all the clothes were shoved into these boxs smelling like cigarettes, when I don't even smoke, my purse i had packed in those boxs Is missing as well, mind you I also have Storage bins that I packed and taped shut!!, it was open and stuff was moved around as well! IT TOOK ME 30 MINS TO FIND MY UNCLE ASHES!! I am beyond mad and irritate, and the only resolution is to file a claim??? I don't understand how a claim is suppose to make things okays. you do not care about the people stuff your moving. You just wanted the money!!!! Your company is disgusting!!! I booked a move for a bedroom set on a Friday. I wasn't able to keep the original date so I called to change the date. They had a Saturday available which I accepted. When they called to confirm my move they asked how I was paying, I said credit card which they told me I had to have charged on Friday since the office is closed Saturday. They sent me the form to fill out to authorize the charge and said they were charging me $635. I asked why $635 when I was quoted $150/hr. I was then told Saturday has a four hour minimum! This wasn't mentioned at all when I called to change the original appointment. Ridiculous! I canceled my appointment and now have to find a new company **update** I was contacted by the company and they agreed to a 2 hour minimum on Saturday since their employee did not advise me of the Saturday policy. I'm glad the employee who changed my reservation was honest. I'm completely fine with the 2 hour minimum which is reasonable for my move. read more

Do not use this moving company!! I cannot express my disappointment enough in their handling of my move. I told them that I had a 3,500 square foot home with 3 bedrooms of furniture along with the regular furniture and office furniture. I told them I had 2 refrigerators and a chest freezer along with 3 full size tool boxes and patio furniture with a tool box in the bad yard. The truck they brought only fit the beds, dressers, back yard table and 2 of the tool boxes. They refused to take any of my televisions because I didn't have boxes (as if they would fit any). and left behind so much that I had to get additional an extra large U-haul and had to hired movers the next day. They left my refrigerator door handles at my old house on the counter and left my dryer vent hanging out of the wall at my old house. The guys took a 30 minute break in the morning, then one of the gentlemen used my restroom for 25 minutes in the morning while the other gentleman was in the garage on his phone. The restroom incident was repeated in the afternoon at my new house! They also took a 45 minute break for lunch. The 3rd guy was was in the truck trying to arrange for my stuff to fit.. He was great! I could honestly go on and on, but I'm done ranting at this point. read more

Terrible experience. My only 1 star review of a business. I called Economy movers about 6 weeks prior to my move to schedule it. The lady I spoke with was very nice, took all my information regarding the move, location, etc. Gave me price estimates etc. I told her I needed the move to be first thing in the morning because I work nights in the hospital, and this was going to be the only time I could do the move. She assured me that would be no problem. Three days prior to the move, they called me to confirm the date and time (between 8 and 9 am). On the day of the move, I called around 8:15 to confirm they were on their way. The woman I spoke with simply said' "Oh, something came up, they will be there in the afternoon, probably between 12-2." I expressed my frustration and reexplained my scenario, and that I couldn't do an afternoon move. She could not seem less interested in helping me out, offered no solutions or consolation. I ultimately, thankfully found another company (Valley Movers) who had an opening same day. When I called Economy back to cancel, they again did not express any apologies over the situation or really seem to care at all. Basically, if you're looking to make your move more stressful, these are your guys. Otherwise, if you're one of those weird people who likes to minimize stress during a move, I'd steer clear of this company. read more
