But, did he stop at that? No, not this professional. Since he was already there and having to charge me for the call, he proceeded to spend a full hour completing taking apart the dryer, lubing every part, cleaning out any lint from the back, unplugging, disengaging and re-engaging the unit and checking it again at every step of the way. My partner requested he wear booties, and he pushed back, questioning the logic of the request. My partner was polite when she reiterated her request that booties be worn over his boots. He went back to his van to call his office, and the, he opted not to continue with the appointment and suggested she go to someone else to do the work because he could not be bothered to honor the request to wear booties over his work boots. Bottom line: When setting up the appointment, my partner requested whoever did the work wear booties over their shoes. This is not an outrageous request. To then be told go get someone else to do the work for something that was arranged WHEN the appointment was made? Seems like a bad business model, and quite disrespectful to the customer.

Greg was assigned to my service request and did arrive on time. However, his overall demeanor was unfriendly and unprofessional, especially for someone in a customer-facing role. Shortly after he arrived, my daughter experienced a sudden medical emergency--a seizure, her first ever. I was in the next room calling 911 while emergency responders arrived. It was an extremely stressful and urgent situation. I have no doubt he could hear me screaming her name and calling emergency services. About 10 paramedics came stomping down my short hallway. It was quite the commotion. Before leaving with my daughter in the ambulance, I briefly let Greg know he could continue the work if needed. His response was: "Make sure your dogs are locked up. I don't want to be bit." My dogs were locked up when he arrived and he knew that. Given the circumstances, this felt incredibly lacking in awareness and basic human empathy. I understand safety concerns, but the timing and delivery of that comment were inappropriate. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience stood out for all the wrong reasons and this guy shouldn't be entering any one's home.
