Late on Sunday night, I used their answering service to arrange a repair on Monday morning. I had to turn off water to my house due to a leaking shut-off valve under the kitchen sink. Hukill's used SMS to schedule the appointment and keep me posted every step along the way. After another appointment was cancelled, they contacted me to schedule for an earlier time. We have used Hukill before. They advertise 24hr service. We are a landlord. Called today, Sunday 9/7 at 9am. Tenant called with both toilets backed up into showers. We were told they can come out TOMORROW! They have NO PLUMBERS AVAILABLE UNTIL TOMORROW. Why advertise 24hr?? We asked if they had anyone to recommend. NO. Crawlspace restoration was necessary after repair of a subfloor water leak at our home. Sal and Miguel from Hukills are the two gentlemen that carried out this project. For Phase 1, they arrived on time, worked efficiently and kept their workspaces clean. They answered all questions and explained the process as they went along. They returned on a later date for Phase 2, after the crawlspace had dried out. This work was completed in the same fashion, with them working efficiently and neatly. Again, the process and repairs made were explained. We were left feeling confident in the quality of the work performed and pleased with the interactions with these two gentlemen. Reviewing my credit card statement this morning and found a $198 charge for no reason. NO SERVICES WERE DONE. I contacted them to check out a leak at my daughter's residence about a week ago. It was actually an outside irrigation leak, and the tech told her this is not in his scope of work - that there would be no charge. I was also never informed of a service charge to any level and $198 for a "service call" without any work done is absurd. When I called this morning, the woman said she would "check with management" and get back to me. Thank God for the option to dispute. Won't be using this company - even if pipes freeze and the house explodes. Very shady practice! read more

I've used them in the past. They were ok. They came out quick this time but didn't not follow instructions. After explaining what I expected, I got a huge estimate for another visit. Watch the add ins that are not necessary. I explained what needed to be done in the 1st place. They basically redid it and only got charged accordingly. Everything turned out ok at the end but I not without making sure I wasn't taken advantage off. In talking to other folks I've since heard their reputation has slacked some, so pay attention. I called Hukills Saturday around dinner time as we had a leak underneath our sink in our commercial kitchen. Marcos called me back within 15 minutes. I had standing water in my crawl space under my house. I had called another plumbing company to fix the problem, but they were unable to clear the drains. I talked to friends and neighbors, and they recommended Hukill's. Because I was not the only one with water under the house, it took several weeks for Hukill's to do the job. I have white carpet in my bedroom and the crawl space entrance is in my bedroom closet. I was very worried that mud would get tracked into my home. Johnny and his crew were very careful about putting plastic anywhere they might touch as they carried the debris out of the house. I was very impressed-no dirt or smudges. The three man crew worked hard and got the job completed in a day. The sump pump was installed and my crawl space dried out. Hukill's is not inexpensive, but they know what they are doing and do good work. Like my neighbors, I would recommend them. read more

I do not recommend Hukill's for restoration. My experience with them was disappointing and regrettable. I don't want to write a book so I will just bullet point my main issues: * Poor communication and I believe they were dishonest. * Drywall, hardwood floor, paint do not look professional. * Disrespected our house and property. Did not protect parts of the house/property unaffected by flood properly. * Was told restoration would take 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Took 6.5 months. If you ever have a flood I suggest you use a remediation only contractor then find a qualified contractor to put it back together. Whatever you do---do NOT use Hukill's--You can do much better. For us it was a lesson learned the hard way. A word of advice; Regardless of who you use, assure all your communication is duplicated in an email so you have a record. If it is not in writing, it didn't happen. I also recommend you take as many pictures of your house as you can before a contractor touches anything so you have BEFORE photos in case your property gets damaged by the contractor. You need to be documenting everything as if you are putting together a case to bring to court....because you very well might be. should have read the reviews I was quoted 295 plus travel 1 hour minimum. they also said the charge would start in eagle point. It takes 8 to ten minutes to drive to my house from eagle point. they pulled into the drive at 10:45 and left at 11:39 . They also took payment on site. They charged me 41.50 for 5 minutes over 1 hour saying the drive time was 30 minute. read more

We own a historic hotel in Ashland and experienced a broken hot water main in a tough crawl space. After calling several plumbers in the area, all of whom said they couldn't do it, we reached out to Hukill's and within 30 minutes they were here and ready to make to repair in an exceptionally tight crawl space. If I could give this firm 0 stars I would. My house has a blocked storm drain leading to the city system. I made an appointment to have them locate the drain pipe that went to the city system with their pipe camera and then clear the blockage. They were unable to do either as the pipe camera operator stated he could not locate the drain to the city system and that there was none. How could that be my house is 27 years old and rain water was draining somewhere for all those years. I found the connection to the pipe leading to the city system. Called Hukills again for an appointment to just clear the blockage. Hukills was unable to do so and they charged me again. So two costly appointments and they would not offer a discount even though their services resulted in no service. My advice stay away from Hukills as their services are expensive whether their services work out or not. read more

Edited after speaking with service rep: There was a leak in the cold-water supply for the washing machine (Saturday). I expected the o rings (gaskets) to be replaced but the faucets were replaced. The hot water piping broke in the wall and I asked to have it capped because it wasn't used. Rep left after connecting washer. My washer is electronic and can sense when water supply is correct, but it would not fill. The fittings were too tight for me to remove the hose and test water directly from faucet. By Monday night, I finally had water filling in the washer. read more

want to take a moment to thank Hukills in Medford. My water usage shot up from an average of 11,000 gallons a month to 64,000 gallons last month. My friends gave me their plumbers, landscapers, etc., to call for help and I did, to a tune of over $400. No one could find the leak. Friends said, "Hukills is the most expensive, you can probably find cheaper". I have had this leak problem for about two months and though my plumber and landscaper did their best. In desperation, I called Hukills. AND THAT WAS THE END OF MY PROBLEMS. On Friday, Issic came out and within the hour found the leak, marked it for the excavator, Jose. Jose was out a little later and cleared the pipe area for replacement. Then Marcos came at 6pm on a friday night. and fixed the pipe before I even knew it. Thanks again! Called Hukills Medford OR to look at toilet, it was randomly running and you could hear a drip. They came out and replaced a part they said was broken, but that didn't fix the problem, it actually started randomly running more frequently. Called them back, they came out said don't know what is going on and they couldn't fix & I should just buy a new toilet and they would come install at their hourly rate. I called and asked if I would get a credit for the parts I paid for that clearly didn't fix anything. They said manager would call me back, of course have not heard from them. I have had good experiences until now, will never use them again. This cost me a lot out of pocket. read more

We called Hukills on a weekend with an emergey repair of a water valve that could not be turned off and a possible water leak below the house. Marcos was extremely communicative about his timeline and when he would be able to get to us. Hukill's was awful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They "fixed" a leak in our pasture a coupe months over a year ago and it's already leaking again. Upon calling them to fix it, they said they can't guarantee their work since it's been over a year and that they couldn't get anyone up here to fix it for a few days because their schedule was too full. They were not willing to work with us to guarantee or fix the issue that they improperly repaired a year ago. We called SISKIYOU PUMP SERVICE and they were great. They agreed to come out today to fix it. We've used them before and will only use them going forward. Do not use Hukill's! It will be a waste of money. read more

LOVE Hukill's! Jeff Webb left my home after doing meticulous work to my house. Jeff is both competent and amazingly friendly and professional.
