I've had two call outs and three projects handled by Accurate. The first time I called them because they are one of the few that can do a locate and help find where a leak is occurring. When they came to my house to do that it was so obvious during the test that the leak location was found very quickly and with very little of their gas being used. Even though the estimate and agreed upon price for that service was higher they charged me less than we agreed on and also got me scheduled to have their guys come fix it. They told me they could get access without using a vacuum truck which would result in my not only paying for that equipment but then having to purchase dirt to refill the hole it would create. Quickly two guys were dispatched to my house, they dug up the bad pipe and patched it with putting in a little detour to avoid the issue that caused it to break in the first place. My second dealing with them was through my home warranty company. When I saw Accurate was assigned I was elated to know a qualified person would be handling it and I could expect it to be fixed right without me having to argue with the warranty company for hours. They came and assessed that I needed a new water heater and also helped address a leaky drain in my kitchen sink. It took the warranty company a few days to approve the claim and then Accurate worked hard to expedite getting me back on the schedule to do the work. The plumber that came back, Matt, was the same one that came to do the pipe from the locate job. He remembered some of the things we discussed and I enjoyed chatting with him while he fixed the issues. The work was done right the first time and in a very friendly manner. Everyone I've encountered from Accurate has been professional, kind, and I've felt as if they treated my home and projects with the same amount of care and respect as they would on their own homes or a family members. When Matt saw my drain was cross threaded and the appropriate piece wouldn't attach correctly he replaced the entire drain instead of the one part that actually needed it in order to the job right, not just get it done. I wouldn't hesitate to call Accurate for any future plumbing issues that come up and certainly hope if I put in any more claims on the home warranty that they are the ones assigned to the ticket. read more

Accurate Plumbing charged me $5,600 for three young men with shovels who worked for six hours to repair a sewer line. He verbally to me that it would take three days and the contract stated an excavator would be needed and a fence would be removed. None of those things happened. Had a water heater installed. First issue is the gas lines were not tightened and the garage became filled with natural gas. Avista came out and said it was almost to the point where the house needed to be evacuated. Since the install, the cold water lines in the house mix with hot water and we do not have cold water in the master bathroom. I've tried reaching out several times and have never even got a call back. We are now needing to spend 500+ to get it fixed correctly. After a full remodel in 2018 I had the following issues with my plumbing by Accurate. The kitchen sink drain was not tightened properly and it flooded my brand new kitchen cabinet. And, after replacing the back flow valve in my sump pump which hadn't worked properly since they installed it.....during an epically rainy new years the pump stopped working and flooded my brand new crawlspace. After I pumped it out and crawled under myself I found that the plug had not been pushed back in to the outlet and was hanging half out. It was new and difficult to push in so I know it didn't fall out, it was never pushed in after being serviced. And it hasn't fallen back out since I plugged it back in myself. I also adjusted the sump pump and the bucket it sits in and now it ha worked properly in the years since. So, yeah....the point was to NOT have plumbing and drainage issues. NOT to pay thousands to get them and have to fix them myself to make sure it doesn't happen again and I don't get lied to about the cause. read more

We called them out as we had some clogged drains in the showers and fortunately they were able to come out quickly. He smugly cleaned the traps at the plugs and left, charging 165.00. I get it, I was a tech as well, I understand business. However, twice since it has backed up so we got a snake and found all sorts of nastiness down in the pipe. Works like a champ thanks to my wife. I've used Accurate Plumbing several times and they had been GREAT to work with, so due to a plugged sewer lateral I naturally called them first to replace the line. They sent a tech to TV the line. The tech didn't talk to me before he ran the camera down the line, nor did the person I spoke to on the tele a few days prior inform me that there would be a charge for them to come out and scope out the project. After he was done he said I owe $185!! I refused to pay since I didn't need the line tv'd and didn't ask for it - they did; and I was not informed there would be a charge for them to scope out the job. That is just plain poor business practice. I should have been informed there'd be a charge and then I could decide whether to proceed or not. A few days later I received a bill in the mail. Unacceptable!! Keep in mind that this version of Accurate Plumbing is not the same company as it was a couple years ago. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. read more

Go elsewhere. This company has changed for the worse in the last few years. We returned to them recently after four past satisfactory jobs. (notice that all the 5 star reviews are several years back) We had them out to clear a tub drain. The tech did nothing more than clean the hair trap. The next time several days later the tub was used for the first time, it didn't drain. I called back; they told me their warranty on drains is 24 hours only. The website simply says "we guarantee all our work" and there was nothing on the invoice about the alleged warranty. They charged 175 bucks. They staunchly refused to cover their work and a request to speak to higher-ups was never fulfilled. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Accurate Plumbing Solutions to get gaskets replaced in both toilets and the kitchen faucet repaired. I expected one plumber would come and I hoped the two items could be completed in an hour and a half. Two plumbers were sent, an apprentice and a master. The apprentice completed the toilets, including replacing the supply lines, and the master fixed the kitchen faucet. They came together and left at the same time. The charges for labor were: Apprentice - 1 hour - $80.00 Master plumber 1.5 hours - $225.00 To me this appears to be a way to inflate charges on a small job like mine. read more

I am a 79 year old retired plumber, so I know what I'm talking about when I rate this company. Accurate plumbing was awesome a few years back, but they've merged with some other company and are now a total rip off, and very unpleasant to work with. They set things up so they can do things that will bring your bill up. We had a very obvious broken pipe. They said they'd come out to identify it first, and not do any work, and then they wanted to schedule fixing it for quite a bit later. All this time we are supposed to go with a broken pipe? Not to mention what they came out at first to do was completely unnecessary. I wouldn't trust them. I would never call them again. Also the office staff was fairly rude. When I questioned why they were doing things this way, the office staff didn't seem to care at all. Take it or leave was the snappy attitude. we luckily found someone who is the polar opposite to deal with - Mike Artoff. read more

I removed my old washing machine to install new one, only to find my cold water faucet was leaking (badly). I called numerous plumbers, who either didn't even bother to call back (like Hukills) or we're booked up for days or weeks. Accurate said they could put me on a cancellation or fit me in list. The following day I received a phone call saying they had someone available. He was at my house quickly. I was told by several companies the job would require a 2 hr block of time. Accurate had the job completed in 30 minutes. The bill was 1/2 of what I had been quoted by others. I had just remodeled the laundry room, so was worried about mess. There was very little. They had a difficult job to do because of the clay soil and they did a fabulous job, corrected an issue that nobody was aware of and did NOT charge extra. I have tried on three occasions to engage them on replacing my tankless hot water heater and they seem to be just ignoring me because they "may not want to come out there" to provide a service to my rural location. Not sure why it matters since I'm paying for their time...? This is a very rural county, but I guess business in town is sufficient these days. I moved into my house mid June and I recently had to get something from underneath the kitchen sink cabinet. What I grabbed was all wet and I saw that there was water damage to the wood underneath the sink! I grabbed a plastic bowl to catch the dripping water and used my home warranty to get a plumber! They scheduled an appointment with Accurate Plumbing. This happened on a Friday and the plumber came the following Tuesday. Do NOT hire these people! They left an entire snake in one of our tub drains (of a high traffic skilled nursing facility)and charged us hundreds of dollars to "remove" it from the drain, however we continued to have issues after they'd left, so we decided to have a different company come in. This plumber pulled out the snake that Accurate plumbing had left lodged deep in our tub drain yet claimed they had fixed! And Accurate plumbing charged us over $300 for the work (that they did not actually do)! Despicable. While the Plumbing techs that have come out to snake our toilets has been very friendly, make sure you don't ever have any major plumbing issues because they are pretty much worthless at helping with anything above that. We have had a busted pipe in our house for 4 days. They aren't even able to come out for two weeks and only are saying this after we basically had to catch them telling us they didn't want to underneath the house. The customer service representative was rude and not helpful at all. I would not recommend this company ever. Take the time and find a more responsive company. read more

I hesitate to write this because they sent a wonderful tech to my house. Unfortunately the company seemed to try and scam me, hopefully not because I'm a woman. I set up an appointment up for a stopped up kitchen sink, and a toilet that had a leaking hose on the back. I explained exactly what was wrong on my first phone call. On the day of the appointment a wonderful man checked out the sink and fixed it in minutes. Then he informed me I needed a journeyman to fix the toilet. The office calls me to set up another appointment, another $135 minimum (plus parts) to fix what should have been fixed on the first trip if they had sent the right person. UPDATE: I fixed it in 34 minutes; that included a run to Lowes. I hate that I feel I was taken advantage of because I'm a woman, who they probably assumed wouldn't do the repair themselves. read more

I can understand waiting 10 days to have them look at my leaking hot water heater, however when they confirmed my 4 hour time slot, I did not hear from them until the tech called to say he was on his way (a couple of minutes before the end of my 4 hour time slot) unfortunately I had a previous appointment and had to cancel the service!!!!! I purchased a house a few weeks ago and hired a handy man to do some work....BIG mistake. I quickly discovered he had very little clue what he was doing. My first day in the house discovered a leaking kitchen sink, went on Yelp and found ACCURATE plumbing, they were there in a few hours and fixed the handy mans mistake. Next weekend, holiday, Sunday, bathtub would not drain and toilet clogged!!!! OMG, I freaked! I called them again and was SO glad to find they are open 24 hours 7 days a week. The operator was nice and calm and promised to find me help. She put me in touch with Russ who walked me thru what I could do to remedy the issue. He could come out but he would have to charge holiday rates, if I waited till the next day, the rates would be regular. His advise remedied the issue for the night, calmed me down lol and saved me hundreds of dollars. I have called them twice for issues and they are always friendly, prompt and charge very good rates. I hope I never have to call again, but if I do, they are the ones who get my business!!!! read more

own the Subway in Eagle Point and was in immediate need of a Plumber. I called on 02/22/21 to get an Emergency Service (standing water and leak by the back Fountain Machine). I explained that we needed someone immediately and that we had used them before. the lady on the phone explained the I (Subway) had never used them prior. I gave her our business name and Subway and she again said we were not in their system. Not 5 minutes after getting off the phone an email was sent to our Subway email that we had a past due about of $141.55. I immediately called back (confused) and asked how we had a past due amount if we had never used them. She said the found it under my name. I then asked again can you get someone out to look and her comment was, "as I said we don't send out techs out if you have a passed due invoice" I said your comment was originally that we weren't in the system and had never used Accurate to now saying you wont send them out because of a past due bill. And not only that but this was a bill that was supposed to be sent to the landlord of building so it could be paid. To finish, if we did owe the money we would have paid it immediately but this is owed by the landlord. But this review is honestly about how the front office handled this situation. They determined that it wasn't faulty and just charged me for the service call rather than their original quote which included a new pump. I want to give a shout-out to Accurate Plumbing for a small commercial remodel with some not-so-small issues. Had to relocate a water heater to the attic and installed new vent pipes through the roof for the sink and main sewer. In addition, a new tenant, a dog groomer, required a dog sink. For this, they had to saw-cut the cement and trench to the main sewer line, create the proper 1/4" per foot slope, install all the plumbing in the walls for the sink/tub and new water heater. The men were amazing and professional. They stuck to their schedule and completed the tasks at a very reasonable expense. They are now my go-to plumbing contractor. I recently had my sewage line replaced and Accurate plumbing was cost thousands less than the only other company willing to touch the job (it was a deep line). They were wonderful to work with, communicated well, spent an extra day on the job without charging me more, and were really good at problem solving when things didn't go as planned.
