To…read moredo that, the company who performed the installation had to demo all the drywall and framing along the exterior wall, remove tile flooring in a bathroom and a closet, and pull up most of the carpet. In short, they had to nearly un-finish my entire basement. CRBS was one of only a handful of contractors who would even return my request for an estimate, and their bid was the lowest by a few thousand dollars. They repaired the framing, replaced retextured & repainted the drywall, reinstalled what tile they could salvage from the bathroom, then custom-cut/painted new tile to match, completely retiled the closet, stripped & epoxied the laundry room floor, installed new baseboard, restretched the carpet and even did some new electrical work, all while coming in under their estimate. There were only a couple of minor issues with the job, both of which were immediately remedied. They even worked on a weekend to fix one, which I still feel kinda bad about. They were also very flexible in scheduling. An issue with the company installing the gutter resulted in that job getting delayed by a couple of weeks. CRBS was able to accommodate that last-minute change and get me rescheduled within a week. They also put me in touch with a restoration company that helped me unload, store, then replace the contents of my basement. I'd happily use their services again.

They never called to confirm or anything, I never really knew they were going to show or not. Upon first inspection carpet looked good as it should after cleaning and raked. And I checked to see if the repairs to carpet were done. Repairs looked good. Now the bad. The cleaning seemed half assed. There were areas that were completely dry! Like by the stairs and walls. Didn't even attempt to move an ottoman to clean under it. For $199 to do repairs and clean 2 rooms seemed high but the fact they only did 2 traffic areas and repairs for $199 is stupid. What really gets me upset is the fact the carpets still are not cleaned. I walked in my socks after 6 hours of drying and socks are brown like no cleaning or suction was done it's very disappointing the quality of the cleaning. A rental rug doctor would do a better job then this!

Florencio was very responsive from the get go. He gave me an extremely reasonable quote within a week or so of me reaching out. Overall our renovation project took about 2 months (that was for 2 total bathroom remodels plus taking out an entire wall, a new bedroom floor, and a kitchen backsplash). We took a 2 week hiatus for Christmas and new years and we only allowed one bathroom to be worked on at a time so we weren't without a shower or toilet. Our countertop install was referred out to a different contractor, and we didn't love that experience but that wasn't Florencio's fault at that point. We were responsible for buying all material (it's not included in his quote) but I preferred that. I felt like there was more transparency because I knew exactly where my money was going. We were able to get a much higher quality renovation for the price than we would've with the other companies we reached out to. Anything Florencio's workers had to buy for us was reflected and added to the quote. Otherwise we just paid for the labor. He charges as he goes (we paid a deposit and then paid per room basically). Our best experiences were with Greg doing tile and Raul doing plumbing. Also, his demo and flooring team worked super fast and were as well. We would definitely use Florencio again for home projects! While the workers show up at different times during the day, Florencio always responded very quickly to me when I asked him who was showing up and when. We love all the new work and our house feels brand new thanks to Florencio and his team!

I hired them to re-attach a wood railing to a second-story Trex deck, and they did a good job. I…read moreasked them specifically to attach it in such a way that it did not puncture the roofing, and they were careful to attach it at many points to the Trex without going all the way down to the roof. Before I got to Rodriguez Remodeling, I had contacted directly several other contractors, all of whom either replied that they don't do that kind of work or did not reply at all. Then I tried the Yelp "Request a Quote" feature for a likely contractor (who replied that they do not do that kind of work) but got a response in a few hours from Rodriguez Remodeling. The Request a Quote feature has an option to send your job description to competing contractors as well as the one you are looking at. I've tried this feature a couple of times and it has worked well. The owner, Florencio Rodriguez, came out the next day to inspect the job and sent me a quote a week later. After some negotiation I gave him the go-ahead, and he sent one of his worker out the same day to do the work. So overall I had a very good experience with this contractor. Their only drawback is that they seem very expensive. They charged me about $2,900 for the job, which took one person less than a day and a little bit of materials, which seems very high. On the other hand, I had been trying for several months to get the work done, so I was relieved to have it completed and done so well.

They determined only the tap needed repair. They came and were able to repair the tap within a day. I also found their pricing to be competitive and honest. I had also recommended them to a friend and she had the same great experience. Last week, I hired another company (per the recommendation of a contractor) to clean the line. The other company listed a few "urgent" repairs that needed to be replaced in the next week ($3K+). Proactive came out the next day, did a scope and determined these were areas that should be watched but didn't need to be replaced now. I learned my lesson and will not go with another company again!

Zach negotiated with the insurance company to ensure that everything that needed to be replaced was documented and done correctly. One man, Connor, even cleaned out my gutters before the gutter guards were replace - above and beyond the call of duty. The city inspector said 'Looks nice. The cleanup was outstanding they went over my lawn four times with magnets to make sure they got all the nails picked up. Everything Taylor promised, he delivered on. He upgraded my shingles to level 4 hail resistant at no extra cost. He hired a solar contractor to take down my solar panels. They did an excellent job in removing them and re-installing them. I had window screens that needed to be replaced, he arranged for that to be take care of. Taylor had great communication throughout the process. They really care about the customer and definitely want to make sure you are happy.

They have shown up at different times outside of the appointment days and times without confirmation or notice, they have banged on my door, windows, and blown up my phone more than once, one occasion specifically went on for 45 minutes. I have chronic illnesses so I plan around the times I know i'm physically able to allow people to be observed while working in my home. My final straw was having an employee let themselves into my home at a different time and day of the set appointment. Which is incredibly stupid, because I partake in the second amendment. I was only alerted that someone entered because I have door and window alarms that go off when they are opened even half of an inch. What happened could've turned into a tragedy. I feel incredibly unsafe knowing that they work with my property management company and that they know my key lock box code. I will be changing the code and reporting them as soon as possible. Consider if you want your safety and boundaries being respected if you decide to work with this horribly ran company.
