I used Yelp's Request A Quote to find a roofer/contractor. And considering our leak happened on a Sunday night, that's when I reached out to several companies. Many got back to me within the hour, including River City Vinyl Supply & Roofing. And if it weren't for a rainstorm on Monday, he would have come out that day. But he was able to come and look at the problem and have it fixed within an hour or so on Tuesday. John was speedy yet not pushy. He brought with him one of his employees, who actually got on our very tall roof to look at the problem. He talked through what he found with me and sent me a formal quote before proceeding. Turns out the flashing had pulled away from the chimney, and the mortar between several of the bricks had worn away. He showed me some photos of the roof to help me understand. After he was done, I was able to pay him easily via PayPal. And now we're talking to him about tackling our rickety, falling apart gutters as well. We had 10 windows removed and replaced all in one day with the temperature in the 40's and snow on the grown. Still zero follow up and they are not returning my calls. I also have other siding work to be completed which they did measure for but still zero estimates. I will not be using them for any further work. They agreed my roof may be tarped to minimize interior damage but also not a word from them. They take months to respond and are very hesitant to correct problems they caused. The owner Aaron Jenkins does not take responsibility for these things. He instructs the workers not to greet you when starting the job and not to tell you when they are done. The workers are not allowed to go into the attic. The workers will never sell report damage or mistakes they made. You have only 3 days to find these things and report them to the company or they can refuse to come back to your house. What seems to matter the most to this company is having there invoice paid in full despite unresolved issues and obtaining a 5 stare google review.
