My first time to visit this Food Truck today and I will never do it again. We ordered 2 Gyros along with some Cheese curds. The cheese curds were great but the Gyros were terrible. I have NO idea what that meat was but it wasn't gyro meat. It was mushy and it looked like dog food not to mention that it tasted funny. This was definitely money wasted and it wasn't cheap. So don't order this from them. I know I will never go to this food truck again! Too bad I can't get my money back. read more

My family absolutely loves Ed & Sharon's and its a constant go to for dinner when we want chicken. Its always hot, crispy, and juicy! I am also a very picky coleslaw person and the coleslaw here is perfection! Im not sure what brand it is, but its SO good. The staff is always super friendly. read more

This place is a must go for Saturday prime rib night. The prime rob comes in three sizes. The medium size (queen) is more than most men can eat. They cook the prime rib to perfection of the order. If you miss the Saturday prime rib they have an awesome broasted chicken. Al of their specials are very good. The atmosphere has more to be desired and the wait time on Saturdays are long. However the food makes up for all of that. The best part of waiting for your meal is the drinks at the bar. If you order a Scotch on the rocks, you will get a few ice cubes on a tub full of Scotch. Prices here are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food/drink. read more

We recently used Ed & Sharon's to cater a lunch for my parent's 60th anniversary, feeding just over 100 people. Bill was the main contact person and was excellent to work with. Bill and two others did a fantastic job the day of the party, with no complaints from any of the guests. They also cleared plates as the guests were finishing, which I had not expected. History

Established in 1984.

Back in May 1984, Ed and Sharon Dinges moved from Kenosha Wisconsin to raise their three boys (Eddie, then 13; Garrett, 12; and Billy, 10) in the rural setting of Merrill. The couple purchased the former Country Inn at Hwy. 64/107 and Joe Snow Road and went about raising their family while they built a solid reputation for their new business. Ed and Sharon had never owned a restaurant or a tavern before. Ed had run his own snowplow business and worked in the construction trade before a back injury prompted him to look for a different line of work. Ed & Sharon's became known for good food and friendly service, with Sharon behind the bar and Ed in the kitchen. Around 1988, Ed bought his first Broaster machine, an addition that launched the restaurant's now-famous Broasted chicken dinners. The Broaster salesman guaranteed Ed that the machine would double his chicken dinner sales, or he could give it back for a full refund. The machine backed up the salesman's boast, and Ed kept it.
