I…read morehad to text the day of the estimate to see if they were still coming because it was almost 1/2 hour past when they said they'd be there. After looking at the project, they left and said they'd email me the estimate. I've reached out no less than four times for my estimate, and even told them that if they weren't interested in my project to just let me know so I could reach out to other contractors. I was told that my estimate was prepared and would be sent later that day. I have yet to receive the estimate, but will not ask again, and I won't ever reach out to this contractor again. The rating is 2 stars because they initially showed up for the estimate, but I guess they don't need the work. Thank you finally for an answer. Yes, you did provide an estimate on stair railings and I did go a different way because you could not provide the style railings I wanted. But it was totally unprofessional to go through the motions of providing an estimate with no intention of doing so, and then not telling me that in the beginning, especially after I asked about your interest in the project. I've read your reviews and customers seem happy with your work, so it's a shame it didn't work out this time.

From the beginning of the project to completion, from first meeting when with us to review our plans, provide cost estimates and give a proposed timeframe for the work, to the final walkthrough and sign off, Lydia and Vincent were professional, responsive, and always entirely pleasant. We were kept well-informed and communication was always prompt. The quality of the work was excellent and everything was completed in a timely manner. There were inevitably some changes and additions to the scope of work required by unexpected things, but in every case we were able to discuss with them what was involved, what the costs would be, and what the additional time would be. There were no expenses or charges incurred by us that we had not agreed to accept. We also very much appreciated and valued the advice and recommendations about various aspects of the project that we received from Lydia and Vincent--their expertise and good judgment were invariably helpful. This was not our first home remodeling project and we know such things are by nature complex, challenging, and all too often stressful. We count ourselves fortunate to have worked with Ingram Bay Homes on this occasion and we absolutely would be delighted to work with them again in the future. Frank and Houston Kelly
