We tried to discuss the situation in person at their office, hoping to find a solution, but instead we were treated disrespectfully. The owner raised his voice, yelled at us, and made the situation even more stressful. The document we signed was not a formal construction contract, yet we were left without our deposit and without the project moving forward. We filed a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC), but unfortunately we did not receive the help we expected. We also hired attorneys, which has only resulted in additional expenses while trying to resolve this matter. Our experience has been frustrating, financially draining, and extremely disappointing. I encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review all paperwork, make sure you have a detailed written contract, and fully understand the terms before paying a large deposit.

The following morning my furnace was repaired and functioning at 100% within an hour of their arrival. The staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. Most importantly they are straight forward and honest. They dont take advantage of you and price point is spot on. Solid local HVAC company to deal with! EDIT: HVAC failed in the winter, as expected with my luck. Oil unit wasn't communicating with the thermostat. After troubleshooting for a few they told us we needed a new thermostat which would run us about $600. We got a second opinion and it turned out that the thermostat settings somehow got changed (by us, not the HVAC company). After reprogramming the thermostat and connecting it with the unit we were back I'm business for $125. The competitor simply had better diagnostic abilities and took the time to make sure settings were locked to avoid this from happening again.

The not so great review is unfortunate, as his employee that performed the work is responsible. We had a pipe burst in the wall which required replacement of the flooring and drywall. At first we thought it looked great and they said the creaky floor would go away with time. It didn't.. then the flooring bubbled and peeled up. When we looked closer, the wall was not cut properly and they shoved spackle into the gap at the bottom which began to crumble prior to paint. Nothing was recaulked properly. Within months the entire floor was coming up, its soft feeling, and the floor is very loud and creaky. The toilet leans now as well. Someone else came out to look and pointed out several things that were done incorrectly. With that said, Jay was great but unfortunately not involved with the repairs himself. We're past the warranty point so it looks like a bathroom remodel is in the near future. EDIT: Jay, please don't insult me by stating that this is a fake review towards your business.
