We used Ed Moore Florist for our wedding at the Denver Clock Tower this past June and were very pleased with the results. My mother helped me out with this detail and worked with Lydia and Mary. We were planning the wedding while we lived in Houston and my mother was helping from California, so communication was occasionally a challenge, but everything turned out beautifully. Our ceremony was simple and we wanted flowers to help set the simple, yet classic theme, so we went with calla lilies. The arrangements were gorgeous and the price was even better! They even went out of their way to find clock accents to each piece in addition to grabbing some clock finger nail embellishments (at no charge) for me just because they found them! They got the flowers at a great deal and passed the savings on to us, making even more elaborate bouquets than we had originally ordered. Everything arrived on time to our venue and presented well. This place is amazing! It was getting close to my wedding date and a different florist shop would not contact me back...I had placed my order, sent pictures, everything. I was 2 days away from my wedding and had no wedding flowers after continuos calls and texts to the other flower place. I was so nervous and stressed out. When I called Ed Moore they were so friendly and told me no matter what, they would get me flowers for my wedding. We even did everything over the phone since I was busy running errands and getting marriage license stuff. I sent them pictures and they managed to put together all the flowers I needed for the wedding. They did this all in a day and a half! The quality of the flowers was amazing, they had such high end flowers in the shop already. The arrangements came out better than I had ever hoped. Wonderful experience - I was in a bind looking for a balloon bouquet for next-day delivery (I did not realize how in-demand balloons were!), and had called at least 5-6 balloon businesses without success before calling Karin at Ed Moore Florist. I wandered in here quite by accident and the girl who was working greeted me with a warm, happy smile and welcomed me so genuinely. I told her I had real no reason to come in besides that florist shops always smell great and I wanted to look at the flowers. She said "That's great!" and because I was a first time customer, I got a free rose. She picked out a beautiful long stem rose (yellow and orange-she told me the name but I can't remember), put one of those little plastic water things on the bottom, then we chatted and she said she loved working there and that her boss (the owner) was great. I received a Birthday Bouquet of 2 dozen red roses with babies breath and three Happy Birthday Balloons. I had missed the first phone call when the woman arrived to drop off the flowers but she called shortly there after (when I answered) to let me know she left by flowers with a neighbor. She was very sweet and waited until I went down to pick them up before she left (she was verifying - how sweet). The gentleman who helped me did a fabulous job creating a bouquet that met and exceeded my expectations. My stepson came back from college on a Friday and the following day he was going with a friend to their high school prom. Of course, he waits to the last minute and we were running around on Saturday afternoon trying to get him ready. I told him earlier that day that we needed to order a corsage, but that ended up not happening (grr teenagers!). However, as we finished up buying his accessories, I looked on Yelp and found a nearby florist. We called to see when they closed and if we could place an order for a corsage. They told us they could accommodate us as long as we were there in 45 minutes. One confusing note is that when I searched for a florist, the listing came up at Sterling Rose Florist that was in the University Hills area, but when we called, they have moved to the City Park area. However, once we arrived at the location, I couldn't tell if it was the right place because the outdoor sign says Ed Moore, but there was nothing referencing Sterling Rose. I called to verify and was told that was the same place, so we parked and went inside. You could tell it was prom weekend, because there were a ton of people milling about picking up orders. That and Mother's Day weekend. Anyhow, we waited about 10 minutes in the store and the corsage was ready. When I checked in to the business on Yelp, I found there was a Yelp Deal to spend $10 for $20, which worked out perfectly. I think the total of the corsage was $19, so it was a good deal. We received quick and friendly service and they have a lovely selection of flowers. I saw some beautiful arrangements walking out with satisfied customers and I would like to return to this business again. read more

Let me start my review by saying I always forget not to lose my temper. It's a flaw. But in this case I was so angered I guess I couldn't help myself. Flowers ordered for my girlfriend with what was supposed to be a birth announcement enclosed. Wow what an amazing surprise that never happened. Why? Because not only did Ed's completely botch the order but forgot the card about the new family addition. Luckily I called to ask for an early delivery otherwise when I was supposed to pick them up it wouldn't have been there. They had no idea who or what or when or anything. I stayed patient and finally got what was ordered. Minus the most important part.....the card. Several of us called to complain and the manager (no names) outlined how I had come early and it was the day before Valentine's yada yada yada. Every excuse in the book except for a flat out "I'm sorry". In fact she took the time when speaking to one of our complain calls to throw me under the bus as if I had done something wrong. I waited for 40 minutes and was given 3 free roses. That was kind at the time only to realize what a huge mistake was being made. Lastly to be told that they didn't appreciate us posting bad Yelp review? Wow. Blown away with how this place thinks their you know what doesn't stink. Terrible service, blame placers and frankly the flowers ain't that great. I urge anyone reading this that any business that cannot atone for their sins is not a place to give you hard earned dollars to. I received the most beautiful arrangement of flowers when I was laid up in bed with an injury. The card said "Sterling rose florist" and when I googled it, this place had the same address, so I'm guessing they're the same place. As I mentioned, this was the most beautiful arrangement, with beautiful color scheme, craftsmanship, and very fragrant flowers. I have never written a Yelp review because I think a place should either be phenomenal or atrocious for me to influence someone's business. That being said...This place was OVER THE TOP PHENOMENAL! It was our daughter's wedding day and we had ordered a bridal bouquet from another florist. When I went to pick it up, I started crying. It was beyond a doubt the worst arrangement I had ever seen. The florist knew it and was apologizing before she even showed it to me. I left the florist in tears and as we were driving by we noticed this florist. We decided to stop, simply hoping they could sell us some materials to make it look better. I explained the situation to the woman in front and that is when she introduced us to Kenny. He asked to see what we had and NEVER did he criticise the other florist (although we could see on his face the compassion he felt towards us having been left in this situation). He told us to leave what we had with him and come back in 1/2 hour. Knowing that we only had 3 hours before the wedding and no other options we told him to add whatever he wanted and charge us accordingly for his time and materials. Upon our return my complete distress over the situation was turned to utter joy! He turned these horrible flowers into a complete work of art and to make it even better...he charged us basically nothing! Thank you so much for turning a complete disaster into beauty! All we wanted was to buy supplies but instead you took everything upon yourself pushing everything else to the side and performed a miracle in minutes!!! I came in here to buy my first boutineer for a formal ball I was attending. They were so wonderful they helped me design it based on what I was wearing and the tuxedo my date had picked out. I wasn't sure what to expect but they went above and beyond my hopes. I was about to purchase the Yelp deal but it ended up only being $6! I ordered flowers off of Teleflora for Valentine's Day for my love and the website seemed to have messed up my order. I was disappointed that I didn't get the right order and was willing to just take the hit since I already received them and the bouquet that they brought at first was still beautiful. I expressed how disappointed I was to the delivery driver and explained to them that I paid a lot of money for the bouquet that I was supposed to get and he promised he was gonna make it right. I love how festive balloons make parties but it is inconvenient to stand in line at Party City of King Soopers and wait for them to blow up 25 balloons and THEN have to stuff them in the car and hope they don't pop. So, when I found Ed Moore delivers balloons I was excited. I called and told the lady what I needed and she advised they could do it and had a special delivery van. I ordered online and gave explicit directions regarding delivery. Ed Moore's delivery person followed them to a T! The balloons were the exact colors I chose, tied in nice bundles and delivered to the recipient's house as I had requested. It made a special day so much more festive with no headaches. I couldn't agree more with Julie W. I was pressed for time to get a colleague a gift and ordered a $40 arrangement online. When I picked up the arrangement I was extremely disappointed but did not have time to go elsewhere. Many of the flowers were not fresh and the water was murky and the design was just blah. For the money I could have purchased a nice arrangement at Babylon or Jultak. I wish I checked out Yelp before going to Ed Moore for flowers. I think part of the problem is that Ed Moore Florist is conflicted in what its tries to be - it runs a balloon and card shop and then tries to do flowers - I guess the idea is one stop shopping for birthday parties. It should either get serious about selling flowers or give it up. read more

What a sad business they are running. My brother and sister in law went to a lot of effort to surprise me that I'm going to be an aunt. First of all, they didn't have the order in the system when it was ready to be picked up and it went downhill from there. They forgot to include the card that had a poem and announcement! We are so hurt by this simple yet very important mistake. No refund or apology will make up for it.
