I placed an order for my anniversary over the phone, requesting an arrangement with fire and ice roses, unfortunately they aren't around anymore, but they happened to have something similar, which sounded good to me. The arrangement delivered to my wife had no roses at all. It was pretty, but not what was ordered and not worth the price in my opinion (based on what I've ordered previously from other florists). I called to let them know about the situation, they were friendly, apologetic, and offered to get some roses delivered to her to make up for it, which sounded fine to me. My wife came home that day with 4 red roses and some filler, stems wrapped in a damp material and all of them in plastic, standard for bouquet transfer between store and home, but not what you'd normally leave them in all day. Guess I had assumed they'd send the fire and ice`esque roses we had discussed, and that it'd be a little more substantial. Mistakes happen, I understand, and I appreciate an attempt to "make it right", but the result was disappointing. read more

Great Florist! I was having trouble finding a florist in the Denver area to send a custom flower order to a hotel destination for my wedding anniversary. I called the hotel and they said they got many orders from Ed Moore. Am I ever glad for that recommendation! A real person answered the phone right away. She was helpful, knowledgeable, and sensitive to ensuring I got what I wanted for the order. I selected the designer's choice with some specific color selections to be included and I'm glad I did. The flowers were delivered when promised and simply blew me away. Much more importantly, they impressed my wife of 43 years and that's pretty hard to do. The bouquet had the colors I requested (my wife's favorite) and all the flowers and greenery were fresh and artfully arranged. What a great experience! This place is hands down the BEST florist in Denver! Every single time i come into their shop I am greeted right away, I love that because it makes me feel welcomed. This is the 4th time I've used this florist for a big event of mine and they seriously never let me down. I love working with Lydia! She's absolutely amazing every single time I've worked with her! The reason I keep coming back is that Lydia is patient and really takes her time to go that extra mile to research & understand my vision on how I want my centerpieces. Thats extremely important to me because I throw pretty extravagant events, and i like hearing my guest rave about how amazing the centerpieces are, it makes me feel good, because they are definitely something to talk about! Despite all the great reviews that Ed Moore Florist has on Yelp, I was a bit nervous placing an online order for a floral arrangement for our six month anniversary. The website was easy to navigate, and the ordering process was remarkably easy. Every one of my requests was honored, including a tight delivery time! My girlfriend was SO THRILLED with the quality of the flowers (she said the roses were the freshest she ever saw!), attractiveness of the design (including what she described as carved from leaves), and beautiful vase. The photo she took/posted to Facebook confirmed all of this... even nicer than the photo on your website (probably because I took advantage of the free upgrade offer). Super fair price for such an awesome arrangement. Couldn't be happier with the entire process, and will definitely be using you again... hopefully giving you a longer lead time! I ordered a really nice arrangement the morning of 3/26 and I left special instructions for them to leave the arrangement with the neighbor or the leasing office if the recipient wasn't home and to leave a note on her door about where it was left. Unfortunately, a note wasn't left when it was left at the leasing office. The recipient didn't know where the flowers were left and then I thought she didn't receive them. I called Ed Moore and proper documentation wasn't kept about where the flowers were left. Due to the mixup, Ed Moore did send apology flowers to the recipient and were very willing to work with me. Looks like this company might make a mistake from time-to-time but are definitely willing to make up for them, if it happens. I appreciated that. read more

WOW!! What a horrible experience! I ordered a plant for a friend of mine. I asked for it to be delivered once my friend returned from out of town. I said he would call. Well Saturday rolls around and I get a call from the shop asking me about an order that some guy was calling about!! I call back and they say they don't have an order for me?? She said she would call me back in 5 minutes. I then get another call from a man saying the order was scheduled for Monday coming up. I tried to tell him that was not the case and he went on to argue with me and tell me i didn't know what I was talking about and that he was going to cancel my order!! I wanted to send my husband flowers and I wanted to use a local business so that when he got the flowers he didn't have to arrange them like you do with online orders. Delivery was fast and on the same day for a $10 charge. Online companies charge at least this much, so I thought this was a great dale. The lady I talked to on the phone was helpful and patient with me while I picked out an arraignment I liked and said she could add more flowers and really do it right. My husband loved them!! Ed Moore had the most reviews so I read them first and then looked thru their website hoping to find a zen garden arrangement which they did. I received my order today 12/22, from this florist, with the arrangement expected to be used as a centerpiece for our holiday Executives dinner party taking place tonight. I placed the order Wednesday 12/21, two days ago, using 1-800-Flowers. Needless to say, I'm appalled and disappointed at the arrangement that was delivered. The order placed was for a $100 arrangement, what I received feels more like a $30 arrangement. I spoke at 3:30 PM with a 1-800-flowers representative, who assured me that a re-delivery would occur this afternoon. I just received at 5:15 PM, a call from a 1-800-flowers representative informing me that due to other priorities, my re-delivery would not occur until tomorrow. What a sham. Wouldn't the re-delivery of a bad order become your highest priority? With this florist, apparently not. I buy flowers every two weeks, as my wife appreciates them. We usually get deliveries from other well-known florists, which are always beautiful and fresh. For some reason, Ed Moore was used this time, and I'm not impressed with their arrangement, nor their customer service. I would never use them in the future. 12/24 Update: I spoke with Lydia last night. She assured me she would make things right. She went above and beyond and delivered today, one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen. I can't say enough about her and her customer service, and willingness to make things right for a first-time customer. This will not be my last purchase from her, and I'll bypass 1-800-flowers from now on and go straight to the source. My wife and I are more than happy with this new arrangement. Thank you! read more

I was stressed out planning a wedding in less than a month and trying to get everything done. A week before the wedding I asked my mom to make phone calls for me to some flower places to price compare because I couldn't get the time away during business hours to do so. I order flowers to be delivered to a hospital where my cousin works. Usually delivering to hospitals is confusing but there were no issues. They arrived a couple hours after I ordered them. The bouquet of flowers was absolutely beautiful and very full. Usually when I order flowers, they turn out to be much smaller than what the picture on the website shows, but these were the opposite! I LOVE Lydia at Ed Moore Florist! Lydia made multiple dreams come true for different events I had in the Metro Denver area in March 2018. Lydia was able to help me drop off flower arrangements and balloons for a baby shower and made the most beautiful balloon arch I have ever seen!! She also made my husband's birthday wishes come true with 100 floating balloons and flower arrangements (that she also delivered). She helped me with two events on the same day as well! I showed Lydia a couple of pictures I liked for balloon and flower arrangements and she made the ideas become a reality! I am so lucky to know her and recommend this florist and balloon store! I walked into the store and people were pleasant and helpful. I was having a consultation with the owner about my wedding flowers, bouquets, boutinneirs, church flowers when I received a message from my sister just throwing out an idea of perhaps only 1 hydrangea on our pews and perhaps a we can do the bows ( at this point I knew the owner said the price stated she would do the ribbon to tie onto pew plus flower but I didn't know her price also included to big bow) I asked her the price for a hydrangea and I noticed she was annoyed and I stated ( thinking time was an issue) "this will be the last thing I ask you about." The owner got incredibly upset, paced away from me paced back exhaled ran her hands thru her hair and stated how she gave me a delivery price for the florals because of what I ordered now I'm changing it all ( which I was just getting information). She angrily stated "I'm just trying to make money". She then proceeded to say" If I want all the individual flowers I can go home and make them with everybody! You can do them all by yourselves!" I told her " There is nobody, it just me.... Only me." She obviously jumped to conclusions perhaps bad experiences with other customers but I couldn't believe what happened and I left CRYING and she blamed it on my stress. She did apologize but by then it was too late. Afterwards I got to thinking what if I changed something about my flowers 3 months from now..... Would she be this irrational and this unprofessional? Out of the dozens of florist we called, they had the best prices by far, and were easy to correspond with while we planned our wedding. I ordered a bouquet through sendflowers.com that ended up being fulfilled by Ed Moore. The arrangement was very beautiful and the flowers are still looking great 4 days later. There are also new flowers still blooming, which is a nice touch. The only thing that would make me hesitate to use this florist again was reading the previous reviews on Yelp and seeing the owner arguing with customers. I get that negative reviews are very frustrating, but you are definitely not proving the customer wrong by going off on them for the world to see.
