I leased a new Ioniq 5 from this dealer last year. My perspective is that of a decade long EV driver, which dovetails perfectly with those of traditional gas engines. No matter who I contact, Roadside Assistance or the Service Dept, or the engineers, or the dealer, the only answer is to "go in for service". At least they could have me reboot, like the old Windows v GM joke. Ask about OTA diagnosis, nobody admits it's possible. Ask for ANY IDEA what's wrong and nobody has a clue' (except Googles). My issue was mystifying to everyone I spoke to at Hyundai.. I easily found a Reddit thread of complaints, 4 years old, and across models. They CAN update and diagnose OTA, but they're accustomed to all their revenue coming from unending.service appointments. They haven't yet realized they are continually overwhelmed, and are inconveniencing customers by making them wait for a part or availability of a technician trained on their EV's. Roadside assistance agents ought to be kept up to date so they can answer questions. I realize this has been more about the manufacturer's service than this specific dealer. I think it's a problem with the dealership model, and those dealers who are forward thinking are aware the industry is changing. The auto business is once again changing. Voyles is trying to hang on to what made his fortune. They need to reassess. read more

Extremely Disappointing Service Experience My Sister took her car here for a routine service, and unfortunately, her experience was frustrating. From the lack of customer service and effective communication/updates, it was clear those weren't a priority. Within a day or so after getting her car serviced, my Sister noticed that most of the issues weren't resolved. She also found that her car had some new problems, which she now has to deal with. My Sister's effort in trying to connect with the assigned Service Tech (phone calls/texts) was met with indifference and a lack of accountability. She had to repeatedly follow up for updates, only to be disregarded and or given vague or incomplete information. After my Sister's texts and emails were not addressed, she emailed the General Manager. No response as well, so she emailed Admin Support, and still no follow-up. I then intervened on my Sister's behalf. Two weeks later, we returned to the Dealership and were paired with one of the Service Managers and a Sr. Service Technician. That visit yielded better service and feedback. On my Sister's first visit, she felt they didn't value their customers' time or satisfaction. Yet, with the return visit and meeting with the Finance Manager regarding extended warranties, my Sister's perspective changed to a better level of satisfaction. Overall, my Sister expected much better customer service from a dealership with a good reputation. She is indecisive about returning here for additional service and purchasing a new car. The recommendation for this dealership on the service department aspect is 50/50. read more

R bought a car from Ed Voyles Hyundai yesterday. Even though this was going to be R's car, he asked me to go with him as a 2nd set of eyes and ears, and to provide input and feedback, and to be able to ask questions since I wasn't going to be directly impacted by the sometimes stressful car-buying process. We went into the dealership without an appointment, with R already having secured financing through his bank, knowing how much he wanted to spend, and knowing he wanted a 2023 Elantra. As soon as we walked into the showroom, Nigel, one of the salesmen, asked if he could help us. From then on, for about the next 3 hours, we had a great car-buying experience. Nigel was respectful, straight forward, customer-focused, attentive, and he answered all of our questions throughly. Not once did I feel like he pressured R into making a decision. I felt Nigel was listening to what R actually wanted, and didn't try to sway him to change his mind. R drove away from Ed Voyles Hyundai with the Elantra that he wanted at a price that he was happy with, and with all of the bells and whistles he liked. He even got financing from Hyundai at a lower rate than what he was going to get from his bank. Based on our experience, I recommend buying a car from Ed Voyles Hyundai. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am not from Atlanta. I am here for work. I have my 2022 Elantra with me. Yesterday I woke up to find I had driven over a nail or something as my tire was completely flat. I call my insurance and roadside asks where I want it towed to. I call ahead to several Hyundai dealerships, this one tells me they can change the tire by EOD and to go ahead and bring it in. I go to work, and I call a few times - I can't reach anyone but the tow driver lets me know he dropped it off and spoke with the service team. Should be good to go in a few hours. I call several times. I finally get Maria who tells me it may not be done today because she has to see if the tire is in stock. Maybe they can patch it. She doesn't know but she'll give me an update with the hour. Before we get off I ask if she has my number. She repeats my number back to me and I say it is correct. I reach out a few hours later and she's unreachable. It's approaching 6 PM and I simply want to know if I can get my car. I explained when I called in earlier that I usually get the car serviced at a different Hyundai in New York where I'm from. The front desk agents say not only is Maria unavailable but so is the service manager. They leave computer messages for them - still nothing. This morning at 8:15 I call in. No Maria. She's there, just unreachable. I ask to speak with a manager - there isn't one. I tell the front desk woman to let everyone know that if my tire can't be fixed by noon - that I would like to know so I can tow to a different Hyundai. The kind woman at the front was super apologetic. No way my car should be there two to three days for a flat. I get a call back from Maria. She claims no one ever sent any calls to her. No one left any messages. She's not sure who I called and that she also was given the wrong number by the tow truck guy. I remind her that we spoke yesterday, one before I brought it in and she had the number and also again after it arrived and once again she confirmed the number. She cuts me off, tells me not to get short with her, says what happened yesterday is besides the point and that she recommends four new tires and a bunch of other stuff. I only have 20k miles on my car. I barely drive. My car is serviced regularly at Hyundai. It all felt like a rip off. When I stated that I simply wanted the new tire - as I stated the day before on the phone and also reiterated the urgency she laughed and said she was doing ME a favor. I'm paying for the service?? This is the first Hyundai dealership I have been to that has no regard for quality service or customer satisfaction. I took my car for scheduled maintenance but also had a headlamp that was out. We have replaced the headlamp several times over the past two years so I explicitly asked them to check everything because I didn't think it was the bulb. They assured me everything else was fine and replaced the bulb. Three days later it was out again so I had to take it back. Lo and behold they found something else that was wrong. I asked twice to be credited for the bulb that had been replaced but they refused. There was no apology or anything for the fact that I had to come back a second time for something they missed the first time, even after I had told them there was something more going on, and they didn't credit me for the bulb that hadn't needed to be replaced. there is a blocked out space next to the wheelchair accessible parking spots. this space is for people who have vans with ramps on the sides on their car. if this is blocked it prevents those people from being able to get in and out of their car. this space was blocked majorly by a golf cart and no employee or manager present was doing anything about it. read more

Poor customer service when I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment. I was told they were running between an hour to an hour and a half behind. I told them that was not my problem. I was then told do you still want us to do the service and I said yes I just didn't want attitude because you were running behind on your work schedule. I went to the sales department which is where you wait while your car is being worked on and asked who the service manager was. I was told that department was next door. I said to the rude salesman I didn't ask where the service department was I asked who was the service manager. Poor service and this is only the second time I have been here. I purchased a lovely, fully-loaded 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. It has a manufacturer warranty, two extended warranties and it's a Certified Pre-Owned, (which they somehow managed to certify within the 2-hour window that it took me to purchase the car that evening despite it having its engine replaced in March due to a recall, and water in the engine, which they never disclosed at the time of purchase.) We took it home that night and it immediately started having issues. The car was bone dry on oil to add insult to injury. The check engine light came on and the car was shaking violently. Ever since that night we had issues for the next two weeks. We left the car with them last on 6/15 and this is where it started to get interesting after I reached out to Hyundai Corporate to seek assistance with the lemon, they sold me under false pretense. I was using the complimentary loaner from Service up until 8/13/22 when they had one hour left to respond to my lawyer's Settlement Agreement and they decided to pull a disgusting stunt, which I have video footage of. This was after they had already declined my Demand Letter and failed to assist me in-house, one-on-one. It is now over a month later and I'm left with no car, no driver's license, and this has severely affected the finances or abilities to make finances like we were as a household. It's caused so much emotional distress and the list goes on of punitive damage. I've fired my lawyer who was helping with the Revocation of Acceptance because at some point along the way my lawyer started working for himself and them and he simply was not fighting to hold them fully accountable for their negligence, incompetency, and conniving ways. We caught them in multiple lies and got them to agree on 9/9/22 to pay off the car in full, if I then give the car back to them (to further profit from) and, I will have to sign a lengthy NDA which would silence myself and anyone else associated with me so we can never sue for further damages or even speak about this for only $10. Mind you, I've lost thousands already, $14,000 on a trade-on, not to mention the potential contract opportunities I would have had if I had a car to use for my two day jobs, etc, but you-know, they just had to get their loaner back even though it was complimentary with no return date. I've already started therapy months ago because of their wrongdoings. I came to them as a vulnerable mother who had just been in a wreck 3 weeks earlier and only had so many resources to begin with. I expressed these various things to them at the time of purchase for them to only prey on me and then target me as their next victim. Myself as a Hispanic woman, and my black SO were wronged with no justification, and I also have multiple people who are willing to give statements regarding how they were also wronged by Ed Voyles in similar if not identical manners. They are the low. They will demean you, laugh at you, underestimate you, lie to you and blame you for things they have no grounds or proof of, just to intimidate you. On 9/13/22 I've now decided to keep and fix the car, in good faith, and they ultimately will be fully held accountable to the fullest legal extent. Come to find out, the engine head gasket may have been blown, as well as other issues and it's interesting because they should have revealed that at some point since the car was last left with (on 6/15) and worked on by them only ever since I've owned it, and even before then when the engine was replaced. My guess is a bad install on the engine, or they really, really don't know how to repair cars and their formula to making money must be this tactic. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Waited 2 months for a service appointment then 2 months for them to get to my car for the engine recall. Then they tell me it's going to be 5k for them to fix the catalyst converter before the engine is approved but admitted that it was probably a result of the faulty engine. Maria is awful, worst customer service skills I have ever experienced. Most car insurance companies are dropping Hyaundai and Kia because they are junk cars. They also tried to give the car back to me for me to do the oil testing when the car almost caused several accidents. After being so frustrated, I asked how much I could sell it to them for and they offered me 2k. Customer Service is horrible. I left 3 messages in a week's time and never got a return call. I was scheduled to have recall work on my Genesis. I made an appointment 1 month before for a Saturday morning appointment due to my work schedule. I needed to know if it was something I could wait for them to repair or would I need to leave my car and have someone to pick me up. At 7:50 am the morning of my appt I finally talked with someone about my 9 am appointment only to be told they didn't have the part. This pertains to the service we have receive thus far with our service rep. Tim. My husband and I came in this morning to speak with someone about servicing our Hyundai Santa Fe at which time we were told that he would contact us by 12 or 1 to give updates on the inspection and diagnosing of the car. He assured us that the car would be looked at today as we had an scheduled appointment. I waited until around 5:30pm. and did not receive a text message nor phone car with any kind of update. When I finally got him on the phone Tim said that the car has not been diagnosed yet and that for tow-ins it takes 24-48 hours for them to look at and inspect/diagnose the car. Of course this is NOT what we were told while we were there at the dealership. I informed him of this as a reminder. He said he would go back to check on the car and then give me a call back. It is now 6:49pm and I never received a phone call back. I let him know before he hung up that I really needed to know what was going on with the car as I need to make arrangements for a rental car as well as I have a sick child and I needed to see what I needed to do with him. Tim said that he understood and reassured me that he would call me back he did NOT! I am livid at the poor customer service that has been provided to me and my husband. My husband said he had been trying to call all day and could never get through. He got the voicemail for several people and they were all full. So unacceptable and very BAD service! Hyundai is aware their engines consume oil above their own specifications. There is a design flaw that they are aware of, but don't care enough about to fix. They will give you suggestions on how to run the car without oil to throw a rod in an attempt to get the engine covered by the 3rd party Warranty Solutions company the Ed Voyles sales people are incentivized to sell. I spent 3-4 months of going back and forth to the dealership for the Hyundai Oil Consumption test, paid out of pocket for everything (approximately $1500), Hyundai changed their internal process 2-3 times,which prolonged the testing and forced me to pay for unnecessary cleanings/tests, and be without a car for 6-7 days. Multiple back and forth conversations with Ed Voyles employees; Javonte Olds Service Writer, Victor Vilet Service Director, Nicholas Nguyen Service Writer, John Higham General Manager, Hyundai Motors of America, and Warranty Solutions, only to be told - sorry we think we know what the problem is and it's not covered under warranty. Sorry we tried, was the best I got. The final solution they gave me was to complain to HMA and hope the give me a "Good will option". They want me to pay $2800 to tear down the engine and then they are going to charge another $2800 to put the same faulty engine back in, if Warranty Solutions won't cover it. They think there may be an issue with the oil slinger rings on the pistons, but it will cost $2800 to check. The HMA engineers on the techline agreed the engine is consuming 1 qt every 535 miles which is unacceptable. Victor Vilet (Service Director) worked hard and helped facilitate the "hoop jumping" that HMA call thier Hyundai Oil Consumption Test. When speaking with the Brent Kleen General Sales Manager about options, he said we'd sell you a better car this time... Why would I ever trust anyone at Ed Voyles Hyundai? Hopefully this is seen and stops at least (1) person from buying a Hyundai Vehicle. It's not worth the risk, hassle, or lack of customer service you'll get from the "fine employees" of HMA. read more

After the horrible experience w/ Ed Voyles Hyundai and the engine recall, I really didn't want to take my car there. I just called Ed Voyles Hyundai to speak w/ the manager Joseph and he's no longer there. He assured me that he would take care of me. Not the case! Disclaimer: This review is for service only: Oh Ed Voyles, how I loathe thee. One never "enjoys" going to service a vehicle, but this experience was less than stellar. I will try to be brief -- if I could give 2.5 stars I would, as my service advisor was definitely helpful. This review doesn't reflect the advisor: I'll preface with this info: I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata with about 35k miles on it. Transmissions should NOT be an issue yet for that kind of mileage. My engine light came on about 2 months ago and I took this to advance auto to have the code read. Turns out it was a Transmission sensor issue code. Simple enough, fix sensor and be on my way. Not so much. Service department takes my car and has it for 3 days (I get loaner, free of charge). Get my car back and all is well (it seems). Drive it off lot, and rolling down cobb parkway everything seems decent. Then the craziness happens: Car stars to sputter so I downshift to 3rd Shiftronic automatic transmission to get up the slight incline. Sputters yet again. I end up turning around in an apartment complex and heading back toward ed voyles, as something is amiss with the vehicle. I then notice that I lose ALL gears on shiftronic except for 4th (This is apparently Hyundai's default gear for "limp mode" I find out later). As I'm crawling back to Ed voyles, I get to Cobb pkway and Terrell Mill road, and wham. Nothing. Transmission fluid all over the left turn lane (tried to get into median but no go). Long story short, had to tow said Hyundai back to Ed voyles for an entirely new transmission. Not sure what the deal was, but they had my car another 4 days (with loaner, yes). Fortunately ALL of the shenanigans was covered by the warranty. Bottom line is communication could've been better in regards to how long they were going to hold my car. And I didn't really get an answer as to why the tranny blew. Was this a direct result of the sensor being replaced or was the tranny just a lemon? Car is functioning properly now, and Ed Voyles has been decent with the follow up. Just a heads up to those that might need (major) service here. read more

Very poor customer service experience. After leaving my car for a diagnostic, I received a text message with an outline of the service estimate. I replied to the text twice with no replies. Gave them a day before calling the phone number provided in the their text. Nobody picked up, so I left a voicemail. A day or two goes by without getting a call back. I called the dealership directly and was told that my service person wasn't working that day. They forwarded me to another agent, nobody picked up so I left a second voicemail. After another day or two, I still hadn't received a text reply or a phone call (had left two voicemails by that point), so I drove up to the dealership to figure out what was going on. After speaking in person with my original service agent and informing them of the lack of communication, there was no acknowledgement or apology of any kind. Gave me some excuse about a computer system not being set up right. Based on the poor customer service, I would not return here and would recommend any friends that ask to avoid as well. read more

Car was dropped on a Wednesday. I called on Thursday to get an update and no one answered in Service Department. Left a message to call me with an update. No call. Called Friday, no one knew anything about the vehicle and asked if I meant to call Honda?!? After fourth call, a Service Rep called me back and was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken with. BUYER BEWARE!!! No Smoke & Mirrors? Yeah, right. GET IT IN WRITING! 11/15/19 A few weeks ago my credit union pre-approved a car loan and I have been searching for a car since then, online and in person. I had previously met with a few sales people at a few dealerships. One of them believed he could match any price 'within 250 miles!'. On 11/13/19, on the website cargurus.com, Ed Voyles Hyundai listed a 2019 Kona SE for the very low price of $16,437 (The average is somewhere in the neighborhood of $17,800). There were already $2000 worth of clearly marked incentives. I am not Military, but I checked the incentive for 'Military' to see if it was a MILITARY INCENTIVE that was creating the low price. The selected MILITARY INCENTIVE added an additional $500 to the $2000 worth of incentives. So I had confirmed that the low price of $16,437 was not affected by the MILITARY INCENTIVE. When I first called, I spoke to a woman named Conesha about the ad, she confirmed $16,437 was indeed the price. I agreed to request her when if and when I arrived. I called the salesman who had previously told me he could match the prices of his local competitors, but he checked with his managers and told me there was no way he could match that price. He said while he believed me, he didn't believe that offer. He suggested I be very careful proceeding. I then received a call from a man named Dewayne at Ed Voyles Hyundai. He told me he was going to be selling me the car, and that Conesha was the call screener between Ed Voyles Hyundai and Ed Voyles Kia. I called Conesha back and she confirmed this. So I asked Dewayne if $16,431 was the actual price. He insisted that it was DEFINITELY the price, 'No smoke and mirrors here', he assured me. I again asked him, are you absolutely sure? He insisted that was the price. I told him my Trade-In was pretty much worthless and if tried to bring it in, it might not even make it to the dealership. I informed him I had very low verbal offers on the Trade-In, and I wanted somewhere between $750-$1500 for it. "I'll take care of you", he said. For a final time, I explained if I got my Trade-In to his lot, and he didn't sell me the car for that price, I would be stuck, as I wasn't even sure if the truck was going to make it there in the first place. He again told me. "I'll take care of you." So I dragged my Trade-in into Ed Voyles Hyundai. I was greeted by the friendly and affable Dewayne and we immediately went for a test drive. I loved the car! I told him right there, "I'll take it!" (I'm not much of a negotiator) and we returned to the dealership to fill out the paperwork. At the dealership, Dewayne returned from his manager with a contract and slid it across his desk with a pen in his hand and said 'Sign here'. Then I noticed the base price on the the contract was $17,514, more then $1000 more than agreed. I asked him what that was about and he proceeded to tell me something about that so as not to discriminate, he had to include the MILITARY INCENTIVE in the price, and that this was the actual price. AT NO POINT DID HE ASK WHETHER OR NOT I WAS MILITARY!! (I am not.) At that point I stopped him. I couldn't believe what he was telling me. I explained I wasn't paying a dime over the BASE PRICE OF $16,437. (I understood this amount did not include taxes and fees associated with buying a car, a fact Dewayne had pointed out to me in one of our phone calls.) At this point, there was no way I was going to buy anything from Ed Voyles other than the concessions I had already purchased from their vending machines, but Dewayne asked me to wait while he straightened it out with his manager so I humored him. Even though I was done with this dealership, I waited and Edward the manager returned with a new contract. The BASE PRICE on this new contract had been reduced to $17,014. I told him that unless he was selling it for the pre-agreed upon price LISTED ON THE WEBSITE, there would be no sale. 'Well, no sale then', said Edward the manager. So I called the other dealer, whom I had already met personally and who had come across as an honest person. I explained the situation and he sent me his best price. Admittedly, the Ed Voyles price was cheaper, but at this point, I had already decided not to reward their ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES with my patronage. I informed the new dealer that I didn't think my Trade-In would make it the additional 13 miles to his lot. He told me to "try", so I did. The Trade-In didn't make it. I got about 5 miles when it finally died, like I had predicted. I had to tow it the rest of the way. The new dealer thankfully still gave me $400 for it. I left the new dealership with a new car. I left Ed Voyles with a feeling that I needed to warn others about their practices. In conclusion, Ed Voyles directly LIED and baited me into their dealership with a deceptive price, knowing I was limping in there on a dying car. GET IT IN WRITING BEFORE YOU DRIVE THERE! read more

For Sales I give a 1 star and for service I give a 5 star New Vehicle Purchase: 1 Star Read before you refer anyone to this dealership to buy a vehicle- I would never! I took my best friend who was relocating to Florida to purchase a new vehicle. The salesman and the sales process was very good. But, as we all know Titling the Vehicle and Getting a TAG issued is the most important post sales follow up action, and Ed Voyles abysmally failed A temporary Tag was issued for 45 days, and the Sales Manager & Finance Manager told my friend and myself that a new Tag should be available in no later than 3 weeks. Yet 44 days later, when the temporary tag was expiring, my friend called and was told that Ed Voyles had just applied for the TAG on Day 44 ( day before the tag expires) and they overnighted another temporary TAG to Florida! When my friend called in between to follow up on the TAG, he was advised not to worry about it. One spends nearly 40,000 and buys a new vehicle, amd this is how one gets treated. I will never refer anyone to Ed Voyles to purchase a vehicle anymore. I would I personally will also think twice. My lease term for my Elantra was coming to an end so I asked my parents to meet me at Ed Voyles to see about either moving into a new lease or buying a new Accent. My parents made a special trip down (to advise me). The salesperson Tony knew from the beginning that I wanted to downgrade to save more money per month. We test drove and were ready to do buisness and we were lied to right to our face. He tried multiple times to get into an Elantra and then at the very end tells us that he was was just told by his boss that they don't lease Accents. We were told other information as well that was incorrect. The next day I called around and found out they do lease accents. I would rate this place negative stars if I could. As of yesterday, I will never do business with ANY Ed Voyles Dealership going further. I had my pregnant fiancé's car towed in because the engine had failed while she was in traffic. I received one call from Drew saying that my car had been received and they would update me in the next 2 business days. 7 whole days later, I had received NO update. I literally had to drive up to the dealership to speak with someone regarding any information because no one would answer the damn phone. I was met with no ones assistance upon my arrival, as there is no concept of customer service there. Not a "how can we help you" or "are you being assisted" NOTHING!! After going thru several individuals, I was brought to Cathy in which she alerted me that they could not find my vehicle in their system. Why??? Because they had the car under someone else's name! I urged them to change it THREE different times as well as giving them a photocopy of my fiancé's car registration (by email and print).... We went a month without a car with no communication. I literally had to call corporate to see if this was normal practice in which they said Ed Voyles should have offered a loaner or a covered rental immediately ESPECIALLY because the engine part in question was under FULL WARRANTY. I had to give my fiancé my car until they fixed it because who would leave a pregnant woman with a two year old stranded for a month?!?!?!?! Fast forward past the lack of communication we finally got the car back after another few weeks. On our receipt, it stated that they received the car on October 6th but they got it on August 30th! Makes sense as to why they didn't want to send any correspondence or emails (Tryna cover their tracks with paper trail) In our car, there was missing taillights (thank GOD we caught that before an accident), Broken buttons on our steering wheel, scratched vinyl, dirty hand prints on the inside of the vehicle, and just overall dirtiness like they never cleaned it. With as much time and money that I have spent at Ed Voyles Hyundai Service Center and the neighboring Collision Center, I can honestly say I will NEVER purchase another Hyundai based on the lack luster customer service received at this location alone. As this is the closest Hyundai dealership to my home, I started bringing my vehicle here for regular service in early 2017. Back then the service center experience wasn't quite as painful, but over time has steadily declined to the point that I felt obligated to say something. When I got into a car accident in August 2018, I bought my vehicle to the collision center for repairs. Not only did they half ass the repairs (back bumper not correct color, only fixed part of my front bumper, inner wheel wall not properly secured, noticeable "rattling" sound when driving over sitting water), but my vehicle returned to me in an unsafe condition. I had to then take it elsewhere after bringing my vehicle back to the Collision Center TWICE and they had the audacity to dismiss my concerns. More recently, I bought my car back for an oil change and minor, but noticeable degradation in A/C performance and concern over a rise in the temperature gauge while idling/sitting in traffic. Having experience with fixing vehicles, I let them know upfront what the problem could possibly be, however not having the tools/equipment at my residence to diagnose myself, I let them run a $90 diagnostic in parallel with oil change... 3 1/2 hours later (YES 3.5 HOURS!) I get slapped in the face with a $506 "estimate" to replace the fan control module to which I politely asked for a breakdown of what I would be paying for before I opened my pocketbook. Rachel advised that she would write up the paperwork and I could pick it up from the cashier on my way out to pay for my oil change. Sounds simple, but that didn't happen. The cashier tried to have me sign paperwork that she clearly didn't read herself as it did not include an itemized breakdown. After going back to Rachel and asking the same question 4 times, phrased differently, she finally called a technician up who offered a part number. Unfortunately, Hyundai has patented rights to this part so the only way I can get my car fixed is to bring it back here. I called the service center first thing this morning starting at 7:45am and was sent to voicemail three (3)times to schedule an appointment with "Kathy" to drop my vehicle off. Waited four (4) hours for a call back (no call back) before I called the Service Center myself three (3) additional times and was routed everywhere on God's green Earth before I was put back in touch with Rachel. It should not take a customer calling 6 times to get help, that's absolutely unacceptable. Y'all are lucky I am patient, and not the person I used to be cause whewwwww chile... the tongue lashing! The cost of the repairs is not an issue, it's a matter of being respectful and attentive to your customers needs. What could've been two pleasant and easy interactions turned nasty because some of the people who work here don't want to be bothered. And mind you, these are just the two that I remember in vivid detail. Everything else I simply charged to the game. Brought my Hyundai Kona into Ed Voyles for a routine oil change. Not a big deal, I know, but I have always gone to their ITP competitor but it was very difficult to get an appointment and the price of their oil changes has skyrocketed! It was easy to get an appointment at Voyles and the price was significantly better. The service rep I dealt with was very helpful and let me know what the wait time would be. I am very disappointed that Ed Voyles tried to sell my daughter a car that was essentially trash. The car had many issues that they didn't report or fix. Initially they said they would fix the issues but it became obvious they did not fix anything. After many weeks of back and forth between the dealership and the sales people. We decided not to move forward with the car a Hyundai Veloster. The manager mentioned several times that they were going to sell the car at auction. It wasn't until we started uncovering the many issues with the car that they finally agreed to take the car off our hands. Once we returned the car they said they couldn't sell us a car in the first place. I would have rather they told us in the first place we couldn't get a car than attempt to push a piece of junk on us. It is most likely that the car had a salvage title that was not reported. The nonsense carfax report only reported oil changes and a minor accident. The car clearly had major issues, brakes, wheel alignments, engine issues. We verified this by going somewhere else and having the car looked at by an independent mechanic, who informed us not the buy the car. I have used another Ed Voyles dealership in the past but now I am questioning whether or not I will continue use them in the future, if this their new business model. So my wife wanted another Santa Fe this time used she searched all over the place and found one at Ed Voyles; it was exactly the car she wanted. After the test drive and her blessing I negotiated from home with Dewayne with whom we've done business in the past he's now in management a testament to his work ethic, salesmanship, demeanor, and overall pursuit of customer satisfaction....... I'll get my check for $50 no right Dewayne. I'm kidding he's a great guy. It took just a little while we got the numbers where they needed to be and we came for the car as a professional courtesy he had us in and out of the dealership in under an hour. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Voyles and he would have been proud of Dewayne and his team. To the Voyles family Dewayne is a man you've built a sales team around now make sure you keep him and promote him, he is destined for bigger things in the car business and if not at the C level of your company he'll be owning his own store so I'd keep him around he is not a good salesman/manager he's a great person! read more

For the most part staff and what seems to be a GM are very friendly. I see they have a large selection of vehicles to offer which is great. I only have an issue with the agent I was waiting on. The gentleman had me sitting at his desk for close to half an hour. Definitely not a good look and I am not sure if they may have been somewhat of a rare think to occur. Either way somewhat disappointed with the consideration after placing an appointment by calling an hour ahead. Hopefully it isn't like this in the future. I have bought several vehicles from this place and never will go back after a terrible service appt. In a nutshell they told me I needed a 3200 new turbo in my car and the repair cost me 500 at another private place. They had a salesman call me and tell me maybe it was time for a new car. I was shocked and very disappointed by all of my interactions through this service visit that went on for over a week. I also went to pick my car up and my car had no oil on it and with what had been going on that should've been the first and last item checked after I told them I would be picking it up. Went to Ed V. for an oil change today. Explained to the lady checking me in that I have an upcoming appointment in Feb to take care of a recall in which cases of brake fires had been reported. She said there are no outstanding recalls on the vehicle. I said I had received notification and made the appointment in early December. Went on to explain to her that after being told it would be February before they could rectify the problem, I called around to other dealers to see if I could get in sooner. They all told me that Ed V had completed the work in August. Checked my paperwork on my last oil change and it was noted on there that a part had been ordered. She again told me the work had been completed and had no explanation as to why I was never told. She then said my service consultant would update me on todays oil change. After and hour and 45 minutes my car had not moved from the parking lot and had not heard anything from my service consultant. Went to his office for an update and told him about the recall. We went out to the vehicle to see if new part was in there. It was not! Even though they had marked it as completed, the faulty - potentially fire-causing part was still on there. It then took another 45 minutes for my car to be completed. Very dissatisfied with Ed Voyles and by the looks of the reviews on here, I'm not the only one. Needless to say, I will be looking for a new service center! read more
