My wife and I purchased a new 2026 Toyota Crown Signia Limited hybrid SUV and Finance & Insurance ("F&I") products from Marietta Toyota on July 4, 2026. Overall, I rate the car buying experience with Marietta Toyota good, not great. If you're interested in how our experience went, keep reading. This review is divided into 3 parts over 2 separate visits. *** VISIT 1 OF 2 ON JULY 3, 2026 *** Duration: Less than 2 hours Part 1 of 3: Test Drive with Sales Consultant Brianna "Bri" Walters We called and made an appointment to test drive a new 2026 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The on-site call center associate, Rachel Eve, said they would try to find one for us to test drive. She was nice. When we showed up in person for our appointment, there was none for us to look at. We did look at a used 2023 Highlander and a new 2026 Grand Highlander, and decided they weren't for us. Marietta Toyota just happened to get a 2026 Crown Signia Limited in, so we test drove that instead. My wife liked it. Our sales consultant Bri was great throughout the entire process. She's been at Marietta Toyota for about 2.5 years. She was really nice, very professional, and not pushy. *** VISIT 2 OF 2 ON JULY 4, 2026 *** Duration: About 3.5 hours Part 2 of 3: Trade-in and Price Negotiation with Sales Manager Tyler Elliott We brought my wife's 2010 Toyota Corolla LE in for trade-in valuation and to get a final price from sales manager Tyler. Tyler is new to Marietta Toyota. He joined about three weeks ago and is from Alabama. Tyler had a more traditional, high-pressure sales approach. We get it - that's just how sales works. This was where the process was not transparent to us, the customers. It's a black box. Here's how the numbers broke down: * Sticker price: ~$57,500 (includes ~$2,000 in Marietta Toyota dealer add-ons) * Discount: ~$1,200 (2.1% off) - only available by financing through Toyota at 6.34% APR * Trade-in (2010 Corolla LE): started at $1,000, Tyler upped it to $1,500 * Net price after trade-in: ~$54,800 * Tax, tag, title, and other fees: ~$5,200 In order to receive a "discount," you can't be an all-cash buyer. One way dealerships make money is by getting customers to finance. You can make a minimum of three monthly payments and then pay off the car in full after that to get your "discount" and avoid paying extra interest. There was less wiggle room to negotiate on a Crown Signia because it's a rare vehicle compared to something like a Camry or RAV4. Part 3 of 3: Finance & Insurance with Finance Manager Christie Kerdahi Just when we thought we were done, we had to go into business manager Christie's office to discuss F&I products. She pitched us on three different contracts: a mechanical failure service contract, a prepaid maintenance plan, and a vehicle protection plan for the tires and wheels. These totaled almost $10,000. We had to decide on those contracts right then and there in her office. By that point, we were mentally worn out, felt backed into a corner, and just wanted to be done and out the door. We accepted because she said we could cancel any contract at any time and receive a prorated amount back. We are highly considering canceling. You could argue that a brand as reliable as Toyota doesn't need all this stuff. To be clear, this isn't a knock on Christie specifically - she was professional and just doing her job. This part was tough because of how the F&I process works industry-wide. The contract terms (e.g., time period/mileage, what's included/excluded) are structured in the dealership's favor. Again, they have to make money. The way the numbers are presented - every step of the way, not just F&I - along with F&I being the last step before you walk out with a new car, is part of a larger, deliberate sales strategy. *** ENDING NOTES *** Dealership sales and finance managers do these kinds of things all day, every day. A lot of customers only go through this a handful of times in their lives. So dealerships obviously have the advantage over the customers here. They get you right where they want you. While we weren't super prepared going in, we felt prepared enough - yet we were still blindsided and put on the spot multiple times throughout the process. It's easy to get hung up on technicalities and details, but they do matter. There was a lot of paperwork and not enough time to review everything thoroughly - similar to a home closing, where everything moves fast right at the end and you're signing before you've had a real chance to read it all. We happened to go on slow afternoons, so we were seen almost immediately by everyone. We were in and out about as fast as one could hope, so that was nice. We didn't want to spend a lot of time shopping around and haggling, so there was value to us in getting something we wanted fast. We're very happy with the car. We were lucky it had just rolled off the truck the day we test drove it. We like Bri and would work with her again. read more

Car Buying Experience - Please Read Before Signing I purchased a 2026 Toyota Highlander Hybrid from Marietta Toyota. During finance, I was told add-on products were optional and could be canceled within 30 days for a full refund, so I proceeded based on that understanding. After purchase, I was able to cancel some add-ons, but a $2,800 windshield warranty was later denied for cancellation and stated to be non-cancelable under the contract. This was not clearly explained during signing. I escalated the issue through Toyota corporate but did not receive direct resolution from dealership management despite multiple follow-ups. Advice to other buyers: Carefully confirm in writing whether any add-ons are fully cancelable before signing, and do not rely only on verbal explanations in the finance office. read more

Trash. Nice people but trash business ethics. I went to buy 2 suvs from them.one did work. I should have took that as a sign. I pickup a 2015 Range Rover yesterday. the test drive went fine and I gave it a good once over including a scan to see if the check engine light had been reset. from what I could see it was in decent condition for a used vehicle. on the drive home I felt a slight pull to one side. in the morning I took it to go get an alignment. the shop found that both front steering knuckles were cracked. I drove back home and after some digging I found that those parts were under a safety recall. the cracks will cause the wheels to collapse on to the frame. had they failed on the way home that could have been my life or others lifes. what makes this so petty is that car online could have gotten this done for free. they risked my life because of lack of just not wanting to make an appointment. this recall comes up under any vin check so they had to see it. I was one large pothole from a potential life threatening accident. That is a trash business ethic. read more

They said it was ready yet the job was not done well in certain areas, so it had to stay at the shop for extra days?! After waiting a whole month to get it repaired...ridiculous if you ask me. Months later, the dealership reversed earlier commitments, including withdrawing a previously discussed offer related to my vehicle. I was looking to sell my car and was contacted twice by Jewels Hamilton at Marrietta Toyota about buying it. I did an online Carfax estimate which alerted her to what I was looking to get for the car. I asked them several times if they would be interested in buying the car outright without me purchasing another vehicle from them. They assured me that they buy cars like mine so I agreed to drive out. I drove the car 40 mins, one way, just for them to tell me that they weren't looking to buy my car because it was out of their purchasing price range. I wasted and hour and a half in traffic just to have them tell me this. Do better and ask better questions so that you're not wasting people's time! read more

I discovered rust on my Toyota shortly after purchasing the vehicle. This is unacceptable for a new car. When I took it to the dealership, instead of properly fixing the issue, they offered to simply paint over the rust. Painting over rust is not a real repair, especially for something that appears to be a factory-related defect. I then contacted Toyota corporate, but they also told me they cannot do anything about it. Both the dealership and Toyota refused to take responsibility, even though the problem is clear and should not exist on a vehicle this new. This is a safety concern and has completely destroyed my trust in Toyota's quality and customer care. Because of this experience, I strongly advise others not to purchase a vehicle from Toyota or this dealership. If they don't stand behind factory defects, they won't stand behind anything. read more

Toyota Marietta (the sales associate Chevi Gallardo in particular) used dishonest and deceptive sales practices to sell a used 2021 Toyota Camry SE to my father on September 16, 2025. Chevi gave my father the carfax, emissions report, and repair and audit order to my father for a 2021 Toyota Camry, but sold him one with a different VIN number. My father SPECIFICALLY ASKED if the vehicle had been in any accidents, and Chevi Gallardo gave my father the Carfax for a nearly identical vehicle, and said no. I believe they employed these deceptive practices on my father because he is an Asian immigrant, and he does not speak English well. Let me make myself clear, this dealership showed my father paperwork for one car, but SOLD HIM A DIFFERENT ONE. My father realized when he was looking at the car manual and saw the actual car fax for the vehicle the dealership showed him shoved in the glove box. Toyota Marietta gave my father all the paperwork for and led him to believe he was buying the car VIN: 4T1G11AK6MU528881, but they sold him VIN: 4T1G11AK0MU462389. Vehicle VIN: 4T1G11AK0MU462389 has 0 accidents and 35,000 miles on the odometer, but VIN: 4T1G11AK6MU528881 has a reported accident and a mileage of 67,000. I do NOT believe this was an honest mistake. This dealership PURPOSELY used deceptive sales tactics. Why would you show a customer paperwork for one vehicle, and LIE saying the vehicle had NO reported accidents, but then sell the customer a different vehicle? When my father came by the dealership on September 18th when he noticed the repair audit order listed the vehicle as having a Toyota brand battery but actually had a Walmart brand battery, he reached out to Chevi Gallardo. That Saturday Chevi Gallardo lied and said that "that's what they do but they will honor the battery as a Toyota battery" which immediately gave my father red flags because that makes ZERO sense. At this point he hadn't discovered the VIN of the vehicles were different. He found that out when he went home to read the manual after speaking to Chevi. Once again, I do NOT believe this was an honest mistake. Toyota Marietta PURPOSELY misled and misrepresented the car they sold my father. I reached out to the dealership via email and I WILL be heading down there in person as well. I wanted to warn other people about this questionable sales practices. That is a bold faced lie Eli. Show me one call record or email that was sent to me. You have NOT responded to my emails and you have NOT called me directly. You do NOT even have my phone number. More lies. I have since emailed Mr. Lloyd Yancy and I have attched a copy of your response and asked why you would so blatantly lie about emailing and calling me. No Eli. That is incorrect. The true Carfax were in the glove box in the vehicle. Chevi Gallardo presented my father with Carfax for a different vehicle's VIN number. We also have the emissions paperwork, and the audit report for the other vehicle. When my father asked if the vehicle had ever been in a car accident, Mr. Gallardo answered no. And presented my father with the Carfax for the other vehicle. The dealership is trying to change the story to cover for themselves. After my first email no staff from Marietta Toyota reached out to me. It wasn't until I put this bad review up on Yelp and a bad review up on Google that I finally got a response. First, Mr. Eli lied about contacting me, and changed what he wrote after I showed proof that he did not. Great cars but terrible dealership with questionable business practices. My advice is that if you see a car that you want, get financing through your bank and only have them to write up the invoice/paperwork. It will cut out at least some of the problems. Also try purchasing online and never do a trade-in. They will have the unseasonably sales person look at your car and offer you below wholesale value. To accommodate our growing family, it was time to replace our '05 Accord for something that was a little more safer, spacious, and modern. Of course, a large trunk space was a must have in addition to a competitive price and low miles. When I initially got the price estimate for a trade in, KBB floated my information out to a bunch of Atlanta metro dealers, then it was a process of sifting thru communications. One of them came from a local dealer not more than 20 minutes from the Cumberland area. I ultimately decided to visit Marietta Toyota to price the trade in and see a vehicle that matched my initial requirements. The price is estimate for our trade in came in around $750 which I felt was low for a car that was running perfectly, so took the challenge of putting the car on the private party market and ended up selling to someone on Craigslist for $2,300. So at that point, it was back to square one. After a few weeks, and being sandwiched for time to return to work and returning from a trip to see an I'll family member, I looked again the inventory at Marietta Toyota online. Their website is fairly up to date and useful to view instead of show rooming on site. I texted our salesperson from the initial visit, Jordan, and he confirmed availability and indicated the car would sell quickly. Here was the most convenient part, he drove the vehicle to my house to accommodate momma and baby from having to go see it as family. The last thing we wanted was to take a 2 month old out to a dealership. My wife had a chance to drive around and get a feel for the car. Only thing is this particular model didn't have the charging station but met all other requirements. It was the exact color, interior style, and met year and mileage requirements. Once we decided to go with the car, it set in motion the sales and purchase process. I drove to the dealer and we went over financing options. Right now, interest rates are around 6 percent which was the biggest turn off for going down the financing route. We landed on a purchase scenario whereby we'd buy the car outright which made the transaction a bit cleaner since I was transacting on my wife's behalf. After about 2 hours, I found myself in the financing room to secure the paperwork and title application, essentially the doc prep fee service. Right before we closed the sale I was presented with warranty option to extend the 7 year/100k mile warranty. It's not a required service to drive off the lot but does extend the power train to the rest of the vehicle including sensors, electronics, and anything that might happen beyond powertrain. I purchased it for peace of mind since it was certified used with 160 point inspection. As we closed the deal, I took the paperwork home and signed with my wife the next day. She went to the bank and got a certified cashiers check. We brought it back and I drove the car home to my new momma and she was so happy and satisfied with the purchase. Keep in mind the dealer will ask you for a drivers license each time you visit and make a copy. They shred the licenses after each night but they do take privacy seriously and keep in mind there is a lot of personal information passed back and forth and it is important that the information is accurate (names, addresses, VIN, etc). Overall, had a five star experience with the purchase but it was a long journey from meeting initially, selling my car, finding a new Rav4, and returning to the dealer to give them another shot. All in all, the process took about 6 months but only a month from initial engagement with Marietta Toyota. The sales manager and sales associate did an excellent job asking for my business and selling their family owned dealership which I learned has been in Cobb County since 1975. I purchased my vehicle at this location brand new and drove it off the lot without the $600 hood cover being installed properly. Although it's been less than a year since I've owned this vehicle, they were attempting to buy it back instead of focusing on the improperly installed hood protector- that they let me drive off the lot with peeling plastic visible on both sides (that I assumed was from the factory) but was in fact the extra add-on I had paid for and been driving with for almost a year. I made an 8:30 AM appointment for what I was told would be a three hour long installation- which turned into a 5 1/2 hour long installation. They called texted and emailed the day prior to the appointment in order to confirm the appointment I had made the day prior - quite excessive. Why send so many notifications ensuring that your customers are on time when my service can't be completed in order for me to get to my job on time? Then, when I asked if they could look at a tire that has a very slow leak (considering that my car is still under warranty & I have owned it for less than a year now, it doesn't even have 15,000 miles on it). Then they had the audacity to send me an email with an incentive to refer a friend! Why would I refer a friend to this location when we had both purchased our cars from World Toyota on Peachtree industrial and never had these types of issues with our service department. I suggest going to World Toyota, I've never had to wait as long as the estimated time, they communicate when the car is going to be ready, and they value their loyal customer's business- which I have never seen at Marietta Toyota. read more

On July 4, 2025, I received an email about a recall on my Toyota RAV4. When I called, Marietta Toyota's customer service promised they could fix it for free and lend me a same-model car while mine was being repaired. That convinced me to book a July 8 appointment. When I arrived, no loaner was offered. A technician said the work would take 1.5 hours, so I waited. Nearly 3 hours later--after being bounced between unhelpful front desk staff and told to "go ask the technicians myself"--my car was finally returned. No updates, no recommendations. Then, five days later, they emailed me a $700+ list of recommended services (brake flush, brake pads/rotors, injector cleaning) that were never mentioned in person. Soon after, they called pushing the same services. How can I trust their recommendations when they weren't discussed during the visit, and their customer service was this poor? Disappointing Experience with Marietta Toyota on Parts Warranty I purchased a remanufactured Toyota Genuine starter for my 2009 Camry from Marietta Toyota's Parts Department about 11 months ago, expecting higher quality and reliable warranty support in return for the premium price. I paid nearly 200% more than what similar parts cost on Amazon because I trusted that a dealership would offer better quality control and stand behind their product warranty. Unfortunately, the starter is already beginning to fail. The last three days, we had to tap it with a stick twice to get the car started--classic signs of a faulty starter. When I returned to the dealership for a warranty replacement, I was met with a frustrating and rigid policy: they refused to honor the warranty unless their own service department diagnosed the issue for a non-refundable $100 fee, even if it turns out to be a bad starter. For reference, a remanufactured starter on Amazon is under $80. Yet Marietta Toyota expects customers to pay over $227 for a part and shell out another $100 to validate what is a clear product failure within the warranty period. This defeats the entire purpose of paying more for Toyota Genuine parts and a trustworthy warranty. If you're thinking about paying extra here in hopes of getting better parts and better service--don't. This experience has shown me that you're better off buying elsewhere where at least you know what you're getting into. read more

I went to Toyota in Marietta and had the absolute best experience ever. It was my first time buying a car and they were super nice. I was greeted by Aliyah Thomas and she helped me test drive the 4Runner I wanted. She gave me the car fax information and helped me find what I was looking for even if it took us being the last people there. At the end of the process the finance manager Terry Carter helped me get all the final things squared out and was super nice. We were the last people there and I did not feel rushed or pressured to do anything. I will be recommending everyone to this dealership moving forward. I would avoid buying a car here at all costs. By the time they got done adding all their fees, useless maintenance plans, and increasing the price because I wanted to use my own financing, I would have paid an extra $6,100+ for a car that was already overpriced compared to similarly specced cars on the market. Let's start off with the fact that their 'internet price' is only available if you finance through Southeast Toyota Finance (STF). Otherwise, using my own lender meant I was ineligible for their internet price discount of $3,100. The problem with this is STF doesn't have the best rates. My bank's interest rate was 5.5% and the finance manager admitted they'd have to buy down the rate with STF just to match it. If you don't come in with proof you qualify for a better rate elsewhere, Marietta Toyota will provide the lube for the interest rate STF will shaft you with. ​ Next, let's talk about their $2,000 "mandatory" lifetime front brakes, battery,​ and keys package. They try to convince you that it can't be removed if you don't want it. If you threaten to leave, miraculously, *just for you*, it can be removed. What a grift! Toyota dealerships have service promotions often enough that you'd be extremely hard-pressed to spend $2k on brakes and batteries in the first 5-10 years of ownership. On top of that, they charge a $700 dealer documentation fee, a $200 carbon neutral fee, and overcharge you $257 for electronically filing for your tag and title. A car that was supposed to cost me $45,000 (excluding tax) would have cost over $51,000. I went to Cobb County Toyota and bought a car instead. The advertised price was the actual price. The only additional charge was $43 for the tag. Plus, they gave me 50% more for my trade-in than Marietta was willing to give. read more

This review is 1 star ONLY because Yelp doesn't allow ZERO STARS. Of the 20+ car purchases I've been through, the purchase from Marietta Toyota was BY FAR the WORST I've ever experienced. Every step of the process both before the purchase and after was riddled with rudeness, incompetence, and disrespect. If you want a car dealer to treat you like $hit and screw up all your paperwork, Marietta Toyota is the place for you. They will try to sell you a new vehicle with one key, and ask you to pay $500 for a second key. They will lose your insurance information, and then never make a single attempt to contact you after the purchase to complete your title and plate registration, despite having your email and phone number. You will have to call them, endure extreme disrespect and rudeness. Not just once, but over a dozen times. Why? Because they are incompetent. Then they will claim they never got you license plate number to transfer your tag to the newly purchased vehicle, even though they physically unscrewed your plate from your trade in vehicle and screwed it into the new one. Again, they won't be contacting you to resolve this issue, You'll have to call them some more and get rudeness and hang ups. After that, they will not submit the paperwork to the warranty company for the extended warranty you purchased for thousands of dollars. So again, enjoy making repeated phone calls for weeks and dealing with the rudeness and incompetence to resolve the matter. And check this dump out, they have more 1 star reviews than anything else; 140 out of 251 reviews are 1 star. Take note of the replies to people's reviews from the business. Loaded with narcissism and gaslighting, I can't wait to see what sort of crap they reply to me with.. A week ago, we discussed with Sales person about 2024 prius prime price. Sales person mentioned price plus other additional prices can be included in hand writing on paper, which is attached. We expected total out of the door price should be less than 48k. However, when We attempted to place an order a week later, they added a $8,999 adjustment. After negotiations, they reluctantly lowered the market adjustment to approximately $6,500. Traveling to this dealership to buy a car? Be sure to have your wits about you. This dealership left a bad taste in my mouth. I experienced several shady up sale or markup techniques AFTER traveling 100+ miles to the dealer. I contacted the dealer about a vehicle they had for sale and asked for the window sticker or out the door price on the vehicle. They sent it to me. After I ran credit and got a ride (2 hours one way) to get there, I was informed that there was an additional $2000 fee on the car for "lifetime window tint, lifetime warranty, and a ppf film". I asked if I could buy the car without the additions and was told no. So it was either buy the car, or waste a credit pull and a day of my life. I decided to buy the car. I was told the lifetime warranty was not transferrable but nobody ever mentioned that it would be non refundable. Extended warranties don't kick in until the manufacture's warranties expire and are usually refundable. After getting the vehicle home and having it inspected, I found out there was no PPF on the car at all. I actually brought this up when purchasing the car, that it felt like there was no film on the car but they assured me there was. They literally lied to my face and sent me out the door. I've had multiple professional dealers inspect the car to confirm there was no PPF on the car. In the finance office, I had to say no several several several times to warranties that I did not want. I did get 100k bumper to bumper and 100k maintenance. The person at one point tried to hide the extra cost of the warranties he was trying to sell me by extending my loan out 6 months and I almost didn't catch it. Fast forward two years, I called the dealer and spoke to a manager asking for a refund on the lifetime warranty. The manager was very accusatory, argumentative, and non receptive to the criticism I had of their dealership. The manager made no attempt to refund me for the lack of PPF on the car or the warranty that wouldn't go into effect until the car reached 100k miles. He simply made excuses and got upset when I told him that I already had a bad taste in my mouth from the buying experience and that another bad one would likely result in me leaving a bad review. Ironically, it was this managers behavior on the phone that motivated me to write all this down to warn others. End the end, I ended up paying $1995 for window tint. Hopefully my experience was just a one off but I would recommend any buyers who are traveling to but a car from this dealer to have their wits about them and be ready to turn around when you get to the dealership and they have hidden line items from you on the pricing info they emailed you before you traveled hours to get there. read more

I went to Marrietta Toyota today Because I saw that they had a vehicle on their lot.That my friend was looking for to a "T" The color the wheels the interior everything. I dealt with a very nice young gentleman named Garrison And he was extremely accommodating and made me feel comfortable. That's pretty much where it ended. The first sales manager named victor was extremely insulting. I drive a 2024 Honda Accord and he wanted to push the fact that a Camry was a better car. That is a matter of opinion. He basically just talked to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. The first pencil was ridiculous, so of course, as the usual car dealership, they come out and they try to and " Negotiate" As if the customer really doesn't know what they're doing. Then he started saying things that I stated, that was never said, and I even asked garrison, and he never recalled me saying these things. I asked Victor if I could speak to his manager because I was not gonna have him.Sit there and pretty Tell me I said things that was quite honestly never said. The general manager comes out and we talk and things seem to be just fine. I get a second pencil, and it seems like it's probably gonna work. I send over the pencil to the person.Who's actually buying the car?They seem very happy. Garrison. Has my friend fill out a credit app? Apparently, according to Garrison, everything gets approved, everything looks good. They ask my friend for a deposit.My friend gives them a five thousand dollar deposit To only find out, after they pulled his credit and after they took his card for the deposit that they sold the car from under him to somebody else. This practice in the car dealership business is called skating. It is when one car is being worked on by two different salespeople.And whoever gives the better deal is who the car goes to. It is extremely frowned upon and told not to conduct this practice.Because somebody's gonna get obviously pissed off. And this is clearly not how you're supposed to treat your customers. When I spoke to the general manager about it, he clearly said he did nothing wrong that they are in the business of selling cards and if we didn't like it, well, it's not really his concern. Also I noticed that they are giving you a starting price higher than what they advertise on their website. They make it look like they're discounting things, but they are really not if you look at the pencil the added $2,294 It's supposed to be included in the sale price, not added on 2. Because according to georgia state law, the price that you advertise It's supposed to be the actual selling price that includes those additional anons. The only other price added to the selling price is supposed to be text title and license. That's it, that is the state law.So they are ripping you off there as well. Jimmie Wilson, the sales associate, was wonderful. He was super knowledgeable and took time to demonstrate all of the car's features. If I was simply reviewing him, his level of service and his attention to detail, then I would give a 5 star review for Marietta Toyota. However, my experience with Lazo Alexander, the Finance Manager, was not positive. If you are seriously considering purchasing a new Toyota vehicle, then start by shopping online before visiting the dealership. After you find the car you like, you'll see a discounted internet price compared to the MSRP. If you then request today's best price, you'll receive another discount. For me, the total discount ended up being around $5K. However, be aware that the price you see online does NOT include any of the packages the dealer adds to the car. For example, my car had the Marietta Toyota Value Package, which added around $1,500 to the price of the car for window tint, nitro in the tires, hood film, door edge guard and all-weather floor mats. Regarding the purchase process, it ended up taking me 3+ hours. After I had test driven the car on Saturday and decided I wanted to purchase the car, I asked them if they would hold the car until Sunday morning if I gave them a deposit. I simply wanted to include my spouse in the process before buying a new car. At 7 pm on Saturday, Lazo Alexander, the Finance Manager, tried to pressure me into staying and finishing the purchase without my spouse. I was already tired at that point, and he was basically trying to get me to stay at their dealership until 10 pm in order to purchase the car on Saturday, instead of waiting until Sunday morning. This was the first of many examples of poor customer service. When it comes time to look at the numbers and complete the purchase, you MUST have a calculator to double check all of their numbers. When they presented me with the total price, the initial paperwork did not reflect the price online. They were trying to charge me $1,550 more than I saw on their website. They then literally tried to argue with me and convince me that they were right. After multiple rounds of going back and forth, they finally admitted that I was right and gave some excuse about not taking into account today's best price as shown on their website. Without a calculator, I would have paid too much. This is another example of poor customer service. Next, they played the game of trying to get me to focus on the monthly payment instead of the total purchase price. Lazo Alexander, the Finance Manager, showed me 3 different monthly payments from $460 on up without taking into account my interest rate. I told them that I expected my monthly payment to be lower based upon my downpayment, and I asked them to run the numbers and show me the interest rate based upon my credit score. They were not up front and honest in this process. Instead, Lazo showed me three different monthly payments between $415 and $460. He then focused on the different extended warranties I could obtain at each monthly payment amount. At this point, I was completely exhausted. I asked him to stop the process and show me the total purchase price based upon each monthly payment. I then realized that he was basically trying to add $5K to $10K to the total purchase price by getting me to agree to half a dozen different extended warranties. Yet another example of poor customer service. So, while I highly recommend you ask for Jimmie Wilson when considering a purchase from Marietta Toyota, you must be diligent and aware that the Finance Manager will try and charge you anywhere from $6.5K to $11.5K more for a new car if you don't check each and every number on your own. Based upon my experience with the Finance Manager, this dealership is not customer focused, but rather preoccupied with their own profit. Maybe this is the way every dealership operates. On October 11, 2023, I purchased a Camry SE from Marietta Toyota. All was well with working with salesperson Sergio Tuberquia. Once I met the finance manager Terry Carter, things did not go as well. Terry blatantly lied to me about the cost for the maintenance and warranty plans. He told me the price for the maintenance and warranty plans was $4400.00. However, Terry did not go over any parts of my contract with me. When I asked to see my paperwork, he quicky presented me with a flash drive and said everything was on the flash drive. When I reviewed my contract, I saw where Terry had charged me $7800.00 instead of $4400.00 for the maintenance and warranty plans. I called my salesperson Sergio the following morning and shared with him my experience with Terry Carter. I was able to revise my contract. I then met with the finance manager, Mr. Vu and now he has changed my annual percentage rate from 6.09% to 8.09%. I stated to Mr. Vu that I have excellent credit to which they identify as being "tier 1" credit that is supposed to give me the lowest percentage rate available at the time. He stated because I did not purchase the warranty plan that my percentage rate increased. Bunch of baloney! On October 15,2023 I looked at my contract and found another problem. The total retail price of the car with a sunroof added was $35,944.00. Instead, I was charged $37,378.00 for my vehicle. I called my salesperson Sergio on Monday, October 16, 2023, to report my finding on the cost of my vehicle. He stated that he will have a finance manager send me a breakdown on the cost of my vehicle. As of today, November 3, 2023, I have not received any breakdown on the cost of my vehicle. It is ironic that Marietta Toyota conveys that they are transparent, honest, and upfront with pricing, but they are quite the opposite. I experienced deceiving, conniving, and dishonest people who are very comfortably and bold in stealing from their customers. I would advise other customers to invest elsewhere read more

Stay away from this place. Everyone lies. Found a truck online and asked for more information. I got a call from a sales rep informing me that the truck (2022 RAM 1500 Rebel) was on the lot. She asked when I wanted to schedule a test drive. I made an afternoon appointment. To speed up the purchase I filled out the online credit report. BIG mistake! They pulled my credit and then the sales manger called to informed me that the same truck was shipped to auction a day before. Claiming "It had a large scratch that didn't meet quality standards." Meantime I'm checking emails and I have 3 different emails from this dealership. 2 were spam. Then he left a nasty voicemail after I hung up on him. In short they: Lied about the website truck being onsite. Pulled my credit without the agreed vehicle onsite. Lied about the "quality standards". Repeatedly called after I hung up. Played the victim when I hung up on their lies. Read the other 1 star reviews. This place is a nightmare. read more

We were looking for a car for a while and decided to talk to someone about new vs. used. Tom really went above and beyond with helping us research everything. When we found a car we liked and he really helped us crunch the numbers to see what worked with our budget. We didn't actually get the car that day but came back the next day, hoping it was still there. Luckily it was! The purchasing process was pretty quick but the wait times to see the guy that processed all of the paperwork took way too long. Unfortunately this is where we started facing some problems. The car was ready for us before we even saw the finance guy, he was the only one working. When we finally got in, it was upsell after upsell. Then someone comes in and tells us the guy prepping the car lost one of the keys but it would be hand delivered to me once it was found. After we finished all the paper work we drove off. 20 minutes down the road the finance guy calls me and says I need to come back for the temporary tag the next day, because at that point they were closed. Yep, he didn't put the temporary tag on. I told them I wasn't able to get up there so they did overnight the tag to me. Then I get notification from the general sales manager that the key was being shipped to me, not hand delivered like they originally told me. After a few days I noticed that the key hadn't shown up. After getting tracking info that said it was delivered, I never saw it. After trying to figure out where it was, I learned that they never put my unit number on the package, even though all the documentation I have had the unit number on it. They even photocopied my license with the correct address. I had to work with the General Sales Manager that put me through the ringer. We went back and forth with emails. First it was that I needed to check with my leasing office, who confirmed that the package was never delivered. Then the GSM told me I needed to call FedEx, who told me they could only help the shipper. After telling the GSM this, it took 3 weeks of me constantly asking for updates and getting excuse after excuse. I have a chain of 21 emails between me and the GSM to resolve this. I finally reached out to Toyota corporate to ask for help. Within 12 hours I got a phone call from the GSM who said he'd resolve the issue if I took down the complaint with corporate. I told him to get me a key then I would. He then asked if I'd share the cost of replacing they key. After basically asking why I should pay for their mistake, he told me the manager of the service department would reach out and take care of the issue, which he did in less than 39 minutes. Overall we loved Tom, our sales rep, who really went above and beyond and didn't make us feel like we had to buy something. Every process after that was like pulling teeth. Marietta Toyota, please find ways to be more efficient and not making the customer is at fault for mistakes made by your team. read more

We went to try and lease a vehicle and they only constantly tried to upsell us and tell us we couldn't/ shouldn't even lease. Tim, the manager, is literally the worst. Had a bad experience with a salesman and he couldn't bother to get up from his desk to come speak with me and then when he finally did, he was very combative, unhelpful, and flat out rude. He didn't offer to help to speak to the person or anything. He rolled his eyes and sighed like we were inconveniencing him. It was also clear we were a mask wearing family due to high risk children and he got very close to us without a mask. Everyone else there At least put on a mask when coming to deal with us. Edited to add- he couldn't address it with me fully and called my husband to discuss. And he said I said things I didn't saw.
