Eddie helped me with my headlight a year ago. Everyone that I took it to told me it was a bad bulb. But I had just replaced it. Found Eddie on Yelp and decided to try. Turns out it was a bad pigtail. Which other local shops were unable to figure out. I've been complaining about my truck not being safe to drive over 60 mph since I got it. Of course, no one I took it to, ever believed me. A few months ago, my truck was smelling hot after driving it to work. Long story short, Eddie fixed the bad overflow compartment, realized that my control bars were not functioning correctly and worked with my warranty company. Which is funny, because I had a leaf replaced in December by a local repair shop that just about everyone knows, and they didn't even know that the control arms were bad. But they told my warranty company that I take my truck off road, which I ABSOLUTELY do not. So my warranty company would not pay for something that they should have. I am so happy. My 1996 corvette had transmission issues and wouldn't start. I took it to Eddie's to n recommendation of a couple of other corvette owners and I'm glad I did. Eddie had the transmission out for rebuild the first day. I needed new injectors. In just over a week I had the vette back and running great. Eddie's garage just saved me from making a huge mistake. Need a new transmission in my 2010 Lexus hybrid and to save money planned to buy a used one and have it installed instead of going through the dealership. Called Eddie's for a quote and Melissa took my information. She called me half an hour later and said she'd spoken to Eddie and to the transmission specialists at the business next door. They all said the same thing: because it's a hybrid, it requires software only the dealership has, or it will never run right again. Wow! No one else ever mentioned that. I would have paid $6k in parts/labor only to have a car that didn't ever run right. I flushed $380 down the toilet from Eddie's Garage after he supposedly repaired in 8/24/24. About 1.5 months, I am noticing a vibration in my front end area. I take it to another mechanic and told him what Eddy's Garage did for me, He examined it and said one caliper was (correction - was never replaced which was stated in his billing) along with a brake pad. Upon further examination, rotors were warped, and the master cylinder had to be replaced. So I had to pay another $700 to ANOTHER auto shop to get my car fixed right. I will never, ever take my car to Eddies garage again, and you should take my advice. PS) I also did not like the mini me that worked for him to keep telling me every time I left your garage, "You should take better care of your car" with the owner right there in front of me. Eddie was very easy to talk to over the phone to set up a time to get the car looked at. Came in and went over what needed to be fixed. A few hours later everything is finished and my car is ready to be picked up. The repairs cost less than half what the local chain places quoted me. Not to mention he seems very genuine and professional. Never felt like he was trying to upsell me on any nonsense or anything. He even told me I didn't need one of the things I had originally requested [that the local chain place told me I absolutely needed] Not sure if I can name the local chain places for reference, but just know to shop around for not only the best rates, but for the best customer service. I'm new to the treasure coast when my drivers side brake locked up :( I pulled into a shop off US-1 where I was seeing smoke come from my beautiful car, stood in the front office area for what seemed like an eternity to not be greeted or even acknowledged. Through YELP I found Eddie :) He answered the phone immediately, told me to let my car sit for a moment then head on over to his shop that was only 1.5 miles away, so I did. Highly recommended: Make Eddies Garage your first stop for all your automobile needs!!! I went to Mazda for routine maintenance and was informed of the urgent need to replace 2 rusty rotors and all 4 brake pads along with the cost estimates. I used Yelp to request estimates from auto shops in the area and Eddie was not only responsive but provided the lowest estimate. I was a little bit apprehensive at first because Eddie only has a handful of reviews on Yelp and Google but his estimate is ~$200 less than Mazda and other nearby auto shops. I even asked him to confirm that his estimate included all the things that I needed replacing and Eddie confirmed its accuracy. I got an estimate from Eddie on Friday and was able to bring my car in on the following Monday (Eddie closed Sat & Sun). My experience with Eddie has been very PLEASANT & POSITIVE, which is why I am writing this review for him and for people who like to read reviews like me. Eddie is very enthusiastic and welcoming. Although he worked by himself, I was able to get my car in and out in about an hour and the final bill was exactly the same as his estimate. And you know what? Fantastic service! We are able to get our oil change the same day we called. We had a rattle in our Jeep that had been present for more than a year and when mentioned in casual conversation he said he would take a look. He found the problem right away and in just a few minutes has it resolved. Also explained why we should be maintaining a certain pressure in our tires to avoid uneven wear. Amazing service! I called Eddie this morning and asked about an oil change & tire rotation. He said 'sure! Half hour?' when I arrived there were many cars awaiting his service.
