A guy came out and gave me an estimate. He was supposed to call the next day to schedule the removal. He never called, even after I called him again to prod him. I finally checked Yelp and found Santos with his good reviews. He came out quickly, gave a fair estimate, said he could do it the next day. He arrived a little late with his truck and small crew but went right to work and did the whole job in just 3 hours. I had expected a lot of chainsaw noise but they did a lot of cutting with handsaws, using the power tools mostly to cut up and grind the wood. Very impressive work and a great personality. Friendly and straightforward and very professional.

The problem is that they run through a call service. The number the arborist/estimator contacts you from is a no response text. My husband and I weren't happy with the total outcome of the job and wanted someone to come and look at it. Called twice was told the first time the arborist would be there the next day to look at it. He never showed or called. Called again days later. This time the call service told my husband the arborist would call him back to discuss what we felt wasn't done. Never heard from them again. Except via email to repost the invoice to get paid. Won't be using them again. After posting this review on Google reviews they contacted us multiple times. My husband had already spent two full days cleaning up their mess. They should have contacted us back when we had called repeatedly not when they saw the review. That is not how it should work!

Sven was the first to respond. He offered to come out immediately after normal work hours for a free quote. He thoroughly inspected the tree and assured me that it wasn't in imminent danger of falling over. That night he sent over a quote that was substantially lower than I had feared it would. He scheduled the job for the weekend, showed up on time, and just worked solidly until the job was done. Pretty much a flawless transaction. We'll use him again for sure.

We got his detailed proposal within a couple days, and could tell he is trying to help us protect and keep trees while making sure they are not hazards. When we accepted his proposal I sent a picture of some large white pine limbs we lost that day due to the 16" wet snowfall. I had stacked the limbs in the street and without even letting us know, he sent a team to cut up and remove the debris from the street! And they even shoveled the snow away from the area. Plus they use electric equipment which is safer, quieter and more environmentally sensitive. So glad I met Steve and his company. Will be using them from now on.

My husband, a gardener, had always taken care of our lawn. Unfortunately I'd let it get overgrown. This guy couldn't be bothered with such a small job {under 400 sq ft] His assistant told me they'd be sending out 2 min wage non English speaking workers plus a 3rd guy to supervise since the other 2 were not capable of unsupervised work. Well, the 2 workers showed up and commenced to butcher my front lawn, cutting all the while in the pouring rain. Then they dumped all the cuttings in a big pile on the lawn they'd just cut. They then mistook the neighbor's front lawn to be part of my property and butchered their front lawn as well. After that they proceeded to mow down my beautiful fern beds which edged the side of the house. All the while I had no idea they were even there since they hadn't let me know when they'd arrived.. they knocked lightly on my front door when they finished but left before i was able to answer, leaving an invoice in my mailbox for $250.
