Don't waste your time! The owner cut my dress way to short, the dress seems we're messy and not done properly. When I asked him to fix it, he was dismissive, rude and hadn't left enough fabric to make any changes so now my dress is ruined. read more

I called Eddy and asked if he did alterations. He said Yes. I asked what time he closed and he said 4:00 although his website said 5;00. My husband drove 15 miles to his place. I went in with my 20 pieces of clothing. He said I only do quick and simple work and he didn't have the time. I said I'm not in a hurry. He repeated I don't have the time! In a bad tone. Best $18 I've spent in awhile. Granted, I've NEVER had alterations before (I was totally missing out! So much cheaper than buying new clothes!), but I think they did a damn good job in just one day. Brought them 2 pairs of pants to take in, one for $8, the other for $10 - done and done. Definitely gonna bring some jeans by, see what they can do with denim. Great little operation. They can do most alterations in a day. They'll even do denim jeans, for only $10 even! It's on a busy part of SW 8th St. near 56th and 57th, and they got a short driveway. You'll miss it if you're not careful. Can't speak for women's alterations, but they did a good job w/my stuff. read more

This place is FAST, as in they fixed holes in 2 sweaters in less than 10 minutes while I was waiting. The sweaters look great too! Then, they didn't want to charge me because it was so easy. I gave them $5 bucks anyway. read more

I brought in a prom like dress to be hemmed. It was 2 layers with a frilly top layer. The guy put one pin in the front and one in the back. I wanted to know how they were going to keep the integrity of the dress as it was frilly on the bottom and he said not to worry that it would look the same. I also asked that the dress be floor length so when I stand the dress touches the floor. He gave me my dress back and told me he could not be responsible if the dress was too long or short when he finished the alterations. He said he was too busy to work on my dress and could not do it! This is after he originally said he COULD do it and it would be done in a week. I do not recommend this place of business. If you want a professional who can alter your work, I would recommend going elsewhere. They seem to lack certain experience with certain types of garments. Don't waste your time. read more
