I only go to Eddy's Tobacco. If they don't carry something just tell them and they will start to carry it. My 2 son's and I always go here. They are so nice there and very patient with everyone. Their prices are the lowest I've found in Illinois. Please consider going here. You won't be disappointed. I love this tobacco shop. I'm not your typical tobacconist since I don't smoke or chew, but I do enjoy the occasional cigar from time to time, so please understand that my review here will mostly reflect a "cigar buying experience". Your visit may differ. From time to time, I must admit I enjoy just sitting on my patio and relaxing with a cigar. I'm not a big officianado by any means, but I do have a pretty good feel for what I like and don't like. Good thing, too, since the clerk behind the counter wasn't going to be of much help if I'd needed it. He seemed nice enough, but didn't seem very comfortable being left alone in the shop and even had a little difficulty in ringing out my purchase. But I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. Anyway, I found the humidor on my own, walked in and perused the selection that surrounded me. Kinda underwhelming. Not many brands or sizes to choose from and to be honest, it felt a little dry in there. Prices were reasonable, though, so I picked out a couple and headed to pay the man. He threw in a cigar punch for free (when he couldn't find out the price. lol), which I appreciated. Overall, I'd still come here in a pinch, but if I would prefer a much larger selection to choose from. I'd pick Binny's before Eddy's in most cases, though. read more

I wouldn't recommend them if you ryo smokes. At first glance they appear to have a good amount and variety of rolling tobacco and cigarette tubes, but closer inspection reveals very old products and bad pricing strategies. I have purchased from them 3 times and after this last visit i will not return. The cans of tobacco i purchased were very old, the cans of zigzag tobacco had rust forming on the inside of the can and the can of top tobacco had a coupon inside that expired nearly 2 years ago. Not to mention they raised the price on the cans after each of my first 2 visits, and did not restock the products that i had bought them out of. To top that off they were charging more for packages of cigarette tubes that were labeled from the manufacturer as having '50 free tubes'. I pointed this out to the clerk and he just shrugged and said 'i don't do the pricing' without even acknowledging the obvious problem. So bad products, bad pricing and bad service. read more
