I went for a uv gel fill. When I went to pay I noticed in the light that the nail polish was thin and see through with ridges abs clumps. I pointed out of at the front desk. They walked me to the woman who did my nails, said something to her in their language. She was all annoyed banging things. Needles to say she fix it, but now the nail polish is all clumpy and smudged. With the attitude she had I wasn't about to complain again. I'm extremely disappointed since I go there every two weeks with my mom. I will be looking for a new place. Waste of money and time. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Came in for a pedi and to remove my gel tips and replace with gel manicure. Pedi was done by Susan and was ok. Not terrible. However the 1 star comes in when I got my mani. He filed off the gel tip and I asked him to make it short and square. He made it round. I had to ask for the nail file so I could do it myself. It was rushed and mediocre. He didn't even say 1 word, but kept flicking my hand every time I needed to switch them in the UV light. He didn't even file all of the gel off from my previous set and just slapped on some gel nail polish. No lotion or hand rub. Just a hot towel. For both services I was done in less than an hour when it normally takes almost 2. Not to mention the services came to $55 + $5 for the removal. I had a gift card for exactly $54 and they kept telling me I owed $15. He even hovered over me as I paid. I really didn't want to leave a tip but he was on my back the whole time. Got a UV gel fill-in by Cici, one of the rudest nail techs I've ever met. She tried forcing me into a new full set (after I told her they're new), wouldn't cut them down (even though I asked 10x), shape them the way I asked (even though I asked 10x) because they're "too short", she wouldn't file down the thickness of the gel. When I asked her to change the shape, I was rudely told no or flat out ignored, and it took several times for her to even budge a little. I asked for them oval/almond (how they were when I came in) and first she made them almost square, then made them extremely pointed/like eggs (pretty sure out of spite). She didn't TOUCH my cuticles AND they look like they are 2 weeks grown out. I'm furious. She is a horrible nail tech and should not be in customer service. Trust the reviews and don't come here. The best nail salon around the Woodland Park, Totowa and Little Falls area. They get pretty busy but they try their best to accommodate all of their clients. They also have a plexiglass protecting the nail techs and the clients. They sanitize after each client. They also take appointments if you call ahead of time and they also accept walk-ins. They have a temperature check machine right when you enter and they provide hand sanitizer at the entrance as well. My two co workers rave about this place so I went to try it. There's so many workers and so many customers but I can see why. I went for a new set of acryllics. I went to Cici and she was delightful. Super sweet and knew what she was doing. She asked questions to what id prefer with the nail shape and did great. I looked around and many of the customers were getting powder gel. My co worker gets it done by Tom and they look great ! They do ombre gel and I paid $70 but they look amazing. For a refill I was told it's $28 for the ombre. Definitely make an appointment! Clean space and everyone was pretty friendly. If you get the business card it tracks how many times you go and after 10 times you can get a free eyebrow wax or regular mani. Coming back ! read more

Came here for the first time today and was a little nervous given its previous ratings and left an extremely happy camper. Most of the nail techs don't speak english which isn't the end of the world because I don't like making small talk while getting my nails done anyways. The person who did my nails named Hom (ponytail guy) was nice, did my nails very cleanily and took his time to really make my nails look even and nice. I got a white nail dip gel for $30. He even massaged my shoulders at the end which was a nice surprise. If you're looking for a swanky girly place to make girl friends and unwind from your day, this is not your salon. I have gotten my nails done here 4 times. I have had 4 powder gel manicures and 1 pedicure. I usually have request Sam as my nail tech because he does an amazing job. He doesn't talk much but he pays attention to detail on your nails. My powder gels usually last 3.5-4 weeks. The only reason why I'm not rating it a 5-star is because the pedicure was extremely short and felt rushed. It's an extremely popular and busy salon however that doesn't mean rush through a pedicure to get more people in. read more

I Recommend this place for specific people I go to. Cici is my go to if you're into nail design and perfect shape. She gets it done end of story. She has a strong personality but she has the talent to back it so I don't mind, I actually like it lol. I ALWAYS try to book with her. She's the reason for 4 stars. This review will be a little bit on and off because I have okay experiences here: nothing bad or nothing amazing; just okay. The TWO BIG reasons why I still come here is one, the hours and two, the big amount of staff that they have. It's a large nail salon which is what I prefer since I know someone can definitely take me even when it is nearly closing time. (never have to wait too long unless it is busy) I started coming here two years ago with my friend who told me about this nail salon. She was like "I go to Eden; let's get our nails done together!" I had already had my regular nail tech but I wanted to get my nails done (have a girls spa day) so I tried it out. The first time I had a girl named "Queenie" I believe. She was really sweet! The shape, color, and the overall application was one of the best I have ever received! She gave me her business card and I wanted to book my future appointments but the next time I called, the receptionist didn't know who was that particular nail tech! :( Anyways, I continued to just come back and go with anyone and basically see who is good. Most of them are good; there are some that I maybe wouldn't recommend and that is because they may not listen to what you want or they are not focused. I did find that some of my nails would break off instantly. Lately, that was not happening but I do keep an eye out. However, the male nail techs are very good there. I really need to know their names so that I know which ones to go to besides the girl "Queenie" if she is still there; I want to go to her! I will still come here because as I stated: their hours and their amount of staff to serve people in a short time frame! What I think some of them should work on is being more friendly (the guy at the front desk can be a little more friendly) but I ignore it but most people may not like that. Another thing I noticed is that some may be demanding as far as tipping (not to me, but I have heard it while I was getting services done there) The lady who did my pedicure held on to my purse when she walked to me to the front so I can pay; which was whatever to me because I was not just going to walk out because that's just not okay to do. Just do great service and you do not have to worry about chasing someone down for a tip. I use to love this place and rave about it to all of my friends until my last visit. I called in advance around 2pm to see if my favorite nail tech Zoey was there and they said she was not working that day. I still went in because I needed to get my nails done before vacation and to my surprise Zoey was working. I waited about 30 mins and when it was my turn I asked the manager Tracey if Zoey can do it and she said very rudely "did you have an appointment?!" I told her I called and you said she wasn't working today but she's here... her response was "she is busy and could not take you until 6pm." After this, she started filing so hard with her machines that she literally hurt me with every swipe and then went I walked out, I noticed there were pockets where she didn't fill the gel polish (on multiple nails), left a hair in one, she never cleaned my real nails, I noticed gunk and all kinds of BS underneath, and my middle finger nail starts off slanted even though my nail bed is completely normal there... $80 plus $20 tip for the nastiest employee who doesn't even know how to do her job, she rushed to get me done (even though I treated her politely and smiled every time she spoke to me and treated her kindly). On Monday I made an eye lash appointment for today, Thursday because my birthday is on Saturday and I needed a refill, this would have been a 3 week refill.
