I decided to give Spa Blu another shot as my sister in law loves the massages Donna gives. Always sings her praises. But I called today and wanted to discuss a hot stone massage and the person who answered the phone was not helpful at all. I could not understand her when I asked questions about the hot stone massage. She told me to " just come in for 30 minutes and try and the stones are not too hot. She's very nice." I went for a spa pedicure with Cathy. She was absolutely phenomenal. She took her time, was friendly, and thorough. She massaged my feet and legs for a good 20 minutes, wrapped my legs in hot moist towels and let me sit and relax for about 10 minutes. I was there for about 2 hours. The spa was clean, welcoming and quiet making it easy to relax. I will definitely be back when I'm in New Jersey next time. read more

Was looking for a new nail place. I made an appt for acrylic full set with regular polish on their online reservation service. Got called the day before essentially asking me to reschedule my 6pm appointment and reschedule for a different day, I refused since I need a late night appointment and that was the only day/time. When I arrived I was told that they actually didn't have a drying machine so if I wanted to keep my regular polish I would need to air dry after, or I could take gel for $10 more. Since I had things to do after I sucked it up for the gel. The receptionist then said she would be charging my card on file, no option to pay cash or with a different method. Turns out when I was handed the receipt after- I have charged a credit card service fee. My full set and gel polish took 2 hours. My nails are bulky and uneven. There was no electronic file. No warmed towels. They used paper towels to wipe the excess lotion off my hands. The polish was all on the wall hard to reach and looks like it wasn't ever dusted or cleaned. Also- no one had their state licenses displayed at the front counter. A little odd no? Never saw a "spa" or salon not have them practically on the front desk or at the nail stations I could have saved myself 80 bucks and just ordered Amazon glue on nails- would have looked more professional and I would have at least had an evening of time back. Update- not even 10 hours later the gel polish is peeling. What a complete waste read more

We decided somewhat spontaneously to treat our staff to a much-needed spa day and Angela and her team were able to pull a wonderful event together in less than a week's notice time. All our services - massages, facials, and pedicures - were amazing and staff were all very sweet and accommodating. The lounge area made for a very nice place to relax and hang out between sessions. 3 hours for a gel mani and regular pedi. Massage chair doesn't work. Gel mani was finished, girl disappeared to go give someone a wax. I was told I was done, no cleaning, lotion, hot towel, nothing. Then I had already paid online, and the girl at the checkout didn't see it. I had to wait for 10 mins for her to figure out that I had already paid. Never again. I went in today for a spa pedicure, got my nails cut (not cleaned) and semi cut cuticles which fine most places don't really do a thorough job in this area. But my biggest issue is that this service also provides a scrub and a mint oil mask, well I didn't get either. Massage was also average and paint job pretty terrible. Service requested: LCN Spa Pedicure: Relax and enjoy by soaking in a bath with sea salt crystals and hibiscus extract to stimulate circulation and relieve tired feet and legs. Toes will then be perfectly manicured, calluses will be removed and buffed to a smooth finish. A Sugar cane foot scrub follows to exfoliate and moisturize your feet. I came into Spa Blu after checking out Yelp reviews about a week or so before my wedding this April! It was such a great experience. I had never had a deep cleanse facial before, and Gabriela was so great. She warned me before any painful parts, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I have super sensitive skin, so she was very mindful to use products that would minimize inflammation. My skin looked flawless the next week for my wedding! I also had a wonderful experience with Daisy, my mani/ pedi technician. It was so easy to work with her! I was an acrylic nail newbie, and she helped transform my awful nails into the perfect, bridal French manicure! The shape was just what I wanted, and she made sure they were short enough that I could be comfortable. Everyone who knows me and how clumsy I am was just so impressed that they held up so perfectly for so long! I decided to try this spot out for my birthday, the reviews looked positive & I liked that this place was a small, local business. The location is pretty low-key & the set up is really nice. I ordered the Audrey Hepburn package which includes a collagen facial, full body exfoliation & a hot stone massage. The full package took about 4 hours so be prepared so you're not in a rush to head out, the point is to relax. The time flew by. The staff was polite. I had arranged for a special day with my sister, her daughter, my daughter, and myself to celebrate two birthdays and a Christmas present. We basically had the place to ourselves. They pampered us all day. When you walked into the salon, the ambiance was delightful! You felt like you were transported on vacation somewhere. Angela, the owner, was so accommodating. She had an incredible spread of delectable treats on a gorgeous victorian display: fresh fruit, bagels with cream cheese, yogurt, assortment of cookies, chocolates and a special beverage. Donna gave a delightful and relaxing aromatherapy massage! Gabriella was incredible with the facial! Daisy and Sonya treated us to wonderful manicures and pedicures! We had arranged to have lunch at the spa since it was an all day affair. Angela ordered us delicious paninis which we enjoyed around the high top tables. Worst lashes I have ever gotten done! Stay away from this place if you want to keep your lashes in good condition. I got a fill from them since my lash artist was on vacation, and I was in much need of a fill. Well, the lash artist literally glued together my extensions. Thank god she was really slow and ran out to her car during my appointment, so she didn't fill many in the hour appointment. When I got home my lashes were painful and pointing in every direction. The sloppiness and unprofessionalism of the quality work done was shocking to me, and the fact I paid $75 for them to ruin my extensions was even more disheartening.
