Dear Sonia, Your rude response to my complaint alone shows that your have absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. Have you ever wonder what you guys are always short staffed?? Even your employees don't like working for you because of your obscene behavior towards people. If you actually read my review before responding and still accusing me you will see that I've mentioned that I've referred countless people to you guys- if Ming didn't do a good job I would never do that! Anyways I don't have time to ague with a childish person like yourself. Let's see how long your business last with your horrible customer service.
Super super happy! I saw these nails on Pinterest. All I had to do was show them the picture and they came out perfect! The ladies are really nice too. I'm all ready for Halloween now. :) (also only cost $45 with tip.)
I've gave this place 4 tries. I love how my nails turn out but they never last. The SNS cracks right away and they start to chip. I thought It was the nail tech but when I tried another one the nails also cracked. Not worth going here and paying for something that will only look nice for one day.
If you're looking for a super professional, friendly, and experienced nail salon...you've found the right place!! I came here about a year and a half ago and I've never found a place that made me happier with my nails. I've always had trouble in nail salons because I'm very particular with the way I want my nails. I always had gel and acrylic and Sonya (the owner) helped me switch to natural nails and strengthen my nails by doing SNS. Now, I don't do anything but SNS and my nails are stronger than ever. I made the mistake of going somewhere else last week to do SNS, because I was in a rush and went to the nearest nail salon to my job. This horrible experience made me seriously appreciate my experiences with Sonya and Min at Jersey Nails. I've never had a bad experience at this salon for over 1.5 years, and I'll never switch my nail salon to anyone else. If Sonya doesn't do my nails, her husband Min does them and he does an amazing job with my nails as well. The entire salon is so welcoming and sweet, and everyone does a great job, from manis, gel, SNS, to pedicures.. they do a great job overall. I ran into this place about a year ago. I've moved away from this place and don't work anywhere near it but I still continue coming here! I love this place, it's so clean, roomy and the staff is very welcoming. A couple of things that are super important to me is: variety in colors, ability to do gel, acrylic and sns, gel pedicures, and ability to experiment and work with me with different designs and ideas. This place has it all, the nails are super great looking, I've ran into places where they make my nails look like pistachio shells and here people know what they are doing. Their owner is fantastic and very friendly, and the rest of the staff as well, I always get my services from Sonia, Nelly and Sam. But everybody else there is also super knowledgeable and friendly. I travel over 40 minutes to get my nails done in this place because that's how much I love it and highly suggest it!!

I haven't been in a few months because Min who usually does my nails told me one price and when Sonia goes to charge she is telling me something else. When I told her that's not what her husband says she goes to say he dosent know prices lol... Anyways I've decided to give them another shot this weekend and was completely disappointed not only in their service, their attitude towards it and the way I was treated and disrespected. I made an appointment for 4:15 and arrived at 4:25. I called them and apologized I'm in traffic and will be there shortly and they said ok. The girl Li just took me without even saying hi and started filing my nails down (I have sns with tips) I understood it was late and she must be tired so I let it go... Few moments later she is filing so deep I'm starting to feel the burn from the machine so I told her to be careful. She went to Sonia who then told her to go to another customer and she (Sonia) will take my nail. Needless to say I was relieved! When my turn came Sonia told me she can't do my nails because they're too long and she wants her husband to do it tomorrow. She has a bridal party for 10 ppl at 5pm and my nails will take tooo long. I understood and told her I'll come back the next day. Long story short, the disappointing part was when min started doing my nails he told me that Sonia told him I didn't want to soak my nails off with li. I told him that she started doing my nails without even talking to me... He Proceed to tell me that I'm lying and he knows LI she will never do that! Instead of apologizing for sending me home with nail polish off and my nail in horrible condition, I was accused and disrespected. Needles to say, you guys have lost a very long time loyal customer!
I loved coming here to try for the 1st time dipping powder! My nails were really short and I decided to not add an extension tip. They looked really cute and best of all, it's been 5 weeks (going back tomorrow) and all you can see is the growth! One of the photos is the day I got them done and the other is 5 weeks later.
This was my first time here & i am so impressed! This place is a gem. Everyone here is so nice and the place is so clean. The pedicure stations have great massage chairs & the pedicure itself was meticulous. I had two women, one for my pedicure and one for my full set, and they were both very attentive to my nails and my requests. They made sure to ask if everything was up to par before moving on. Their nail color selection was all high quality colors and brands. Prices were perfect, & there was free coffee. It's the little things :) will definitely be back. So happy I found my new spot.
Either go to the owner of this place or dont go at all. First time i went it was because. I needed to fix 2 of my nails and they looked so different then the actual nail. Second time, second chance i went i got a refill and it was the worst nails ive ever gotten in my entire life. I had to call them again to tell them it looked terrible and i either want a refund or someone to fix and she yeah come ill fix them but i know my workers and they're good but come ill fix them but dont come back i said okay . she said she cant write so i said okay u can just put a heart in the middle like that and it ended up looked like what in the other pic.

The infection came from a where the nail lady pretty much nicked my cuticle on my toe. Long story short, I have trust issues. So after reading an abundance of reviews, I decided to give this one a try since I was looking for a fair charge for a set. The reason I gave this place 3 stars because they're not bad. The lady took her time on my nails which I love them. But during the process, I guess she wasn't paying attention, she cut me. I hope I don't get another infection. But I'll see how things go for the next few weeks.

I ran into this place about a year ago. I've moved away from this place and don't work anywhere near it but I still continue coming here! I love my nails !!! It's been super hard to find good places around the area who do acrylic but this has been the best thus far! Everyone was super nice and friendly with such positive attitudes. I appreciated it so much that they stayed a little over closing time to finish my nails and they came out amazing !! I will definitely be back ! read more

Meh....overall not good. Very disorganized, we had an appt for 2 pedicures and 2 gel manicures, together and we were almost separated. Asked for a 20 min foot massage, received about a 7 minute foot massage and was charged 15 dollars for it. Didn't have or couldn't find the 1st 2 gel colors that I picked out. Asked for rounded edges and I have full on square nails. 4 broken, chipped, or torn gel nails already, 1st tear was just 3 days after gel manicure. Also, murdered my right hand with 3 bleeding cuticles. read more

I have been going here since it had opened and it's the only place I will go to! I've been to other salons that either rush me and are not clean, but Jersey is always clean and they do a great job with my nails! I typically go to the owners Sonia or Minh (depending on my availability) and they're both so kind and amazing at doing nails! I come here with my friends and everyone I've recommended loves it here too! Their prices are also more reasonable compared to other salons in Totowa. read more

I wouldn't go back here. Sloppy. When I pointed it out, the lady didn't seem to care. Not sure if maybe she just couldn't see well but when I am paying a good amount of money, I expect quality. Maybe I am asking for too much. read more

I really hope the owner contacts me to correct this because I got SNS less than 10 days ago and today when I was opening a water bottle one of the nails completely came off ( I attached 2 photos ) taking some of my natural nail with it. I have asked to have the SNS made thinner to which the owner replied that because it's my first time they need to be thicker and that maybe next time they can make them thinner. I believe that might have been the reason for why my nail came off and also why almost all the other nails started lifting on the sides after a few days. The salon is nice and clean with lots of color options so I would normally go back but the whole point of SNS is so that it lasts! Very dissapointed. Update- went back today with my friend for a girls day. I had a gel mani and a pedi and she had sns. Pedicure was totally fine except barely any massage. Gel mani by the manager was really awful. I had to wait over 30 minutes after my pedi to even get the mani even though we had an appointment ( their time management sucks) so I was sitting there as my friend was finishing up. When I finally got my mani it was so quick ( possibly because they were rushing as they overbooked), she didn't even remember to put lotion on my right hand and the manicure looks a week old as my cuticles were pushed back at all. Super sloppy ( see pic) and i will never be back at this location. read more

Excellent nail spa which provides fast and great service! That staff is very friendly and the spa is clean as well! Also, the prices are great. They have a huge variety of beautiful colors. This spa has all matching colors for nails and toes which is not very common! I highly recommend this place it is absolutely amazing! You will not be disappointed. read more

This nail salon was OK. I made an appointment and still ended up waiting a half hour before they started which was annoying since I was tight with time that day. My gel manicure wasn't the best but the girl was very nice who did it. The basic pedicure would be better if it included a hot stone massage like a lot of other nail salons offer for $20. I'll probably give this place another try if I'm not completely satisfied I'll look else where next time. read more

Great customer service, color choice, nail shaping, pricing and clean BUT Went for a gel mani and regular pedi before vacation on a Saturday morning. Called ahead and they took my right away. The pedicure was good. BUT here's were it gets good. BEWARE of the lady who sits 2 stations down from the man she's super unqualified. I had an Essie super stay top coat on and she tried to tap it with nail polish remover. I said "just use some pressure it will come right off" she ignored me and electrically filed it off (destroying my nails). Then she killed 4 of my cuticles. Went home and not 8 hours later my whole pinkie nail GEL polish came right off. I drove right back (at 6:15 they close at 6) and they took me right in and the man repainted over my manicure. I was content. Next day I'm traveling for 12 hours get to my hotel and pop goes my thumb nail. IM FURIOUS. Couple days later my ring nail pops right off. Semi understandable since I was playing in the sand but still it was gel. The day I get home ( the following Saturday since I got my nails done) I go back and they change my color for me with no problem and no charge. Worth the try but don't have high expectations. read more

This is my first time at Jersey Nails & Spa, and I'm highly satisfied. I've tried a couple of places since moving to the area and haven't been happy until now. Mihn did great with my acrylics. I didn't catch the lady's name whom worked on my pedi, but she did great as well. The place was clean and inviting and the staff was friendly too. I'll definitely be back! read more

Hi Nicole, gel nails like builder gel have to file off you can’t soak it off. Color gel you can soak off yes.
