They leave your tray of food next to the bed and expect you to feed yourself. Just about every time I went to see my Mom, she was calling out for water. If the call button was pushed, 45 minutes later nobody had come. If you need something, you need to go down to the nurse's station and ask for it, difficult to do if you are elderly and can't get out of bed. She rolled out of bed twice and fell from the recliner once in the 8 days she was there. The last fall proved fatal as she died the next day from a bad head injury. Two months of room and board payment was required to get admission. Now 5 weeks after Mom's death we are still trying to get an answer when, if ever, the substantial refund owed will be given.
