My first encounter with them was when I was picking through their bone yard to come up with some quartz countertops for bathrooms in 2 houses. Anne was so accommodating working with me even though I knew she had so many other clients with big projects on her plate. As time went on our original countertop installer completely dropped the ball regarding the kitchen for both houses. Never ordered the quartz and never communicated the debacle to us. After many inquiries I found out that our colour choice had been discontinued. These were 2 custom homes. I reached out to Jason and Anne from Olympic they dove right in and saved the day, not without a ton of legwork, follow-up and extra effort to find the last two slabs in the US of the one quartz colour from the original order. The other order, let's just say, they are miracle workers. But it gets even better.... Original installer told me I needed more than the 2 slabs to do our kitchen and master bath, BUT Jason came out and cleverly templated our site. The countertops have a design that connotes a rhythm to it and their technicians (artists) cut the tops and waterfalls as to not interrupt its intent. From top to bottom this is a business that you will want to work with. You can see that everyone appears to enjoy their job and their clients. Refreshing in today's world.

By golly, there's a replacement one in that aisle! It is similar to Harry Potter's room of requirement if everything required was small. The workers are extraordinarily friendly. They either really like their jobs or are award-winning actors because I am a believer. BTW, dogs and the humans get free treats (popcorn for humans). Know that they do not sell lumber. Also know, you can rent stuff like power washers, etc. So what's not to love? It's WAY better than some gwaddafful anonymous big box. Albeit some things are more expensive than...say Amazon, but that is small town life. I read the review that complained of all the merchandise there being from China. NOT 100% true because I bought a nice bird feeder made in the USA there, but yeah most of it is. Everything everywhere is made in China, not just at Henery's. Heck, your souvenir to remember your wonderful trip to "fill in the blank" (not China) was probably made in China. Caveat though. Because they are small (but mighty), you sometimes may need to go to said big box. Hopefully not though. P.S. (By sharing drawings and photographs with me, he made sure that his design had my approval before construction began.) Work on the fence began when anticipated and was pretty much completed within 48 hours by 2 hardworking men who were consistently courteous. Moreover, without being asked to do so (or charging me to do so), they carted away a large pile of branches that had accumulated when shrubbery had to be pruned to avoid interfering with the new fence. (They also did the pruning--but only after asking for permission and showing me the branches that they recommended removing.) When 3 weeks later deer figured out how to get into my garden because of a small gap between my fence and a neighbor's fence, Joshua returned and saw that the gap was quickly patched. (My garden has now been deer-free for more than a month--a great blessing because deer are prolific in my neighborhood and had come to see my garden as an all-you-can-eat buffet.)
