On the plus side, the location is convenient to the University. they bill students individually. Overall, this seems like a fun experience for the students who live here. The rent is a little steep, but that's just to be expected for apartments near a college campus. That's not just here, that's anywhere. Folks complain about the furnishings and quality of construction, but honestly, you have to expect this when you rent one of these "rent by the bedroom" close to campus apartments. On the negative side: security here is lax or non-existent. Residents are robbed in the parking lot. After an armed robbery, the cops showed up, but security never did. Never. So, take their claims of 24 hour security with a grain of salt. Make sure your student knows that this may be a legal issue if they're harmed by Edge's negligence, here. The security company shows up if and when they feel like it. You stand a good chance of being mugged or worse if they don't feel like working that night. After a series of muggings, they sent out the attached letter. Basically telling residents to be extra careful. What was missing was something to the effect of "we've spoken to the security company and they won't be blowing us off in in the near future." Now? They're sending out notices to people saying they're late with rent. In our case, we're actually paid ahead. But we're still getting e-mails that say things like: "We are sending a third friendly reminder that April rent has been posted to your resident portal account, and you currently have a balance of (an amount that shows that they owe money to us.)" "*This email was sent because you have an outstanding balance on your account. Please work to pay it asap or contact the office if you believe there is a mistake on your account." If you call the office, they'll just tell you that this is a mass e-mail. Pointing out to them that "...was sent because you have an outstanding balance on your account" doesn't seem to make an impression. Either the staff was told that management knows and doesn't care, or staff doesn't feel empowered to push these issues up the chain. I feel bad for the staff. They're probably students. But the lack of attention from management is alarming, and the staff probably doesn't feel they can push these issues up so they can get resolved. All in all, people like living here. It's convenient and fun. The residents are basically all students. Just realize that the management of this property cares about as much as management of this type of apartment usually care. The apartment complex is dangerous. Security really isn't there if they don't feel like it. You will get hounded with e-mail after e-mail demanding rent after your rent is paid. Their accounting and IT functions seem wholly incompetent. If they stick you with late charges after you've already paid your rent, realize that the calls you make are going to be to people who can't help you. If they mess you up too bad, call campus legal. Is this similar to other campus rip-off apartments? Unfortunately, yes. The owners are off in some other state. They don't care about the residents that much because there's always an inflow of new residents. So, you take the good with the bad. It's not the wrong decision to live here. You just need to be aware that there are downsides. Personally, I think your choice is to either suffer with the downsides, or move to a complex a mile away where you'll get a much larger apartment for much lower rent. But then, you're not right next to campus, living with mostly students. The aggravating part is that it shouldn't be that hard to have security on premises. It's needed in this neighborhood. And it shouldn't be that hard NOT to hassle people who have already paid their rent. By the way, take a peek at the "not currently recommended" reviews. And more dishonest garbage from the management at Edge. Edge snuck in an addendum that automatically enrolled all the residents in a service that cost either $8.95 or $14.95 per month. Even on renewals, they snuck this in. (I suspect Edge got a kickback from this rip-off company, "RentPlus" to screw over their residents this way.) The residents essentially get nothing for this service. It's yet another rip off from Edge. Edge is a fundamentally dishonest company. Honestly, what a nightmare this place has been. Armed robberies due to lack of security. Sending out delinquency notices to people who have paid MONTHS ahead, and now requiring residents to sign a lease that lets another company rob them on a scam. Get an apartment anywhere else. Avoid Edge. You'll end up paying silicon valley rent, and that's not even enough for them. They'll screw you over by selling you out to a 3rd party that will rip you off. read more

Do not tent from this place!! I dont even know where to begin. I am the co-signer for my daughter's lease and the experience since she moved in Sept 7th has been AWFUL. Three weeks after she moved in, she was "re-assigned" to another building, which apparently is in the lease, and given only 5 days to move. After escalating to property management, we finally got the move extended, and a promise of a credit to help with moving expenses, which we are still waiting for the credit after spending $300+ to move her a second time because their office made an error in placement initially. When we arrived to move in to her new apartment, it was covered in hundreds of dead bugs everywhere. The apartment was filthy, unsanitary, and just disgusting. After I had to walk down to the office staff to prove the disgusting conditions to them, they had an intern vacuum the bugs and clean the kitchen up some. Consequently, I ended up spending hours scrubbing and cleaning and it still is not up to standards. If we hadnt had all of her stuff packed and movers waiting to move her things in, I would have refused to move in but the office staff apologized and promised to clean it up. Now, there are false charges on our account of over $2,000 stating that rent for September and October have not been paid, to which everything has been paid up to date and their lack of management and accounting practices are misleading and causing us to get daily text messages and emails that we owe this amount. When you call the office, they either dont answer or say they will get back with us with no follow up. I have sent messages to their corporate office and have asked to terminate the lease, I want her out of this place ASAP for this and other reasons. I'm a parent of a college student who rents here. I co-signed a lease for my student. I have been thoroughly disappointed with the dismissive treatment received from the leasing office when trying to resolve issues. DO NOT rent here. I am currently a second year resident. The customer service that I've experienced in the leasing office is appalling. Angel Wilcox, office manager, has made it extremely difficult to solve an issue that I brought to their attention due to an oversight on their end. Once you sign a lease they treat you like you don't exist. I pay my rent monthly on time and can't even get a meeting with management. They intentionally make it difficult for you to ask questions about policies. Not helpful. I will not be renewing my lease here. They only cater to new customers that they are trying to appeal to and get them locked into a lease. Just because most of the residents are students doesn't mean they should be dismissive and treat them like they have no voice. Parking is atrocious. They charge $50 a month for premium parking and you're not guaranteed a spot next to your building. They have poor communication. Every year they make you renew your parking pass and you don't even get to keep the same spot. They assign you an arbitrary number. They ask you to renew your lease 10 months before it ends with the threat of losing your apartment if you do not renew only two months after you've moved in. When I applied for the apartment they were helpful and accommodating. Now that I've signed a lease, I'm not a valued customer. They put no effort into customer satisfaction. This place is the worst. I have been locked out of my bedroom for over 2 hrs, I have my key the lock is stuck. The office worker has been at "lunch" this whole time. The note says they'll be back at 2:10, it's now 3:15pm. I have called and talked to their remote people 3 times and this last time the lady was incredibly rude and actually started arguing with me when I was asking if the office will even be able to fix the problem with my door or if I should call a third party. The fact that the call center can only refer you to the office makes the call center entirely useless. In other news, they claim to have all of these amenities that they don't or are super poor quality. The maintenance keeps marking things as complete when it's not (washer was broken for 2 months & a/c is still broken). The workers in the office are rude and so annoyed for just doing their job, when you ask to pick up your package they look at you as if you insulted their mother. Parking is a mess there's not enough spots, there's always dog poop and trash everywhere, and the hallways stairwells and elevators are always disgusting. Now, I haven't even moved in yet and I am already experiencing problems with this apartment. My issue is they are very hard to get into contact with. Like whenever I have an issue I'll have to call which is fine however, there is no voicemail and so if no one's available to pick up the phone, it'll just hang up on you. There was one time when I tried to call them because they double charged me on renters insurance and it took me about 15 calls to actually get through to someone. Most of the time it took me to the automated voice and then just straight up hung up on me. The logical second option would be to email them however, they have never responded to an email ever. I have lived in Toledo, Ohio for four years after moving here for college and decided to move to Edge 1120 to be with my friends. Edge appealed to us because it was close to school, and appeared modern and clean. However, in our one year of living here, we have had major issues with Edge 1120 management. We quickly learned that the staff are not on the same page and do not communicate with each other. If there is an issue, whether it is on your side or on Edge 1120's side, expect to have several conversations with different employees about the matter. Edge does not have a system in place to know whether an issue was resolved with another employee. If you go through with Edge 1120 housing, it is my recommendation that you communicate strictly through email or other written forms of communication so that management is bound to their words. Otherwise, they could change their mind depending on the employee you are talking to, as they did to my friends and me. Also, be sure to read small print on the leasing contract and expect Edge to take full advantage of a bad situation if it is profitable. In my case, I subleased my apartment to my cousin, and since we are both living with family in Cleveland during the lockdown, I called Edge and asked if I could hand the keys to her in person since the office was closed and my cousin was in Cleveland with me. I was granted permission to do this and my cousin took over the lease and started making payments even though she has been staying at home with her family during COVID-19. Although she signed the lease and was making payments, Edge charged her with "trespassing" because she had not signed additional paperwork to move in. She was never told about the additional paperwork and had even called the office multiple times to make sure everything was good with the sublease. They never picked up the phone and the voicemail box has been full and she got no call back. The leasing office was closed due to COVID-19. We brought this up and were told by the manager that, because we had not emailed or instagram messaged Edge, she was illegally trespassing because her things were in the room she was PAYING FOR. Edge then tried to charge me a "lost key" fee because I did not give Edge the key to give to my cousin, instead I just gave the key to her myself, which they said I could do. This fee would be understandable had I not called ahead of time to make sure that the in-person exchange was okay. They then spoke to the first employee that granted me permission, and then said they would drop the fee, as long as my cousin sent a CC email to me formally stating I had transferred the keys. Then, two weeks later (and now a month after I had made my final payment) the manager at Edge called me for a THIRD time to say I was being charged for "lost keys". I say to the manager that I have now talked to two employees at the office who have said the exchange was okay. He asks me for written proof that his employees said that, which I did not have since it was all over the phone. After others testify on my behalf, he again drops the charge. However, my cousin is still charged with the illegal trespassing of the room even though she is paying for it and doesn't even live there during the lockdown. I recommend looking somewhere else to rent. If you stay at Edge 1120, again, read all of the small print of the contract, and keep documented proof of all communication with management because they will not be sympathetic to your circumstances, and will not hesitate to make money on a bad situation. read more

There are so many better options out there for the money and the Toledo area. The property manager Jim is one of the least helpful people I've ever met he's also very rude at times. There are a lot of hidden fees as well of fees when you're moving out that don't make any sort of sense. Our air conditioner was broke for 2 months during august and September. The pool never seems to be open for some reason they're always fixing it they say as well as the volleyball courts. And if you ever have a problem or need any help the staff that's working there or just college kids and they never have any idea of what to do or what the problem is so they can't even help you. DO NOT LIVE HERE! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE NICE APARTMENT TOUR AND AMENITIES Prior to moving to edge, I had heard some things about bad management, random fees, and the furnishings/ appliances breaking shortly after moving in. I thought this is likely partially the renters fault, and decided to move in. I could not have been more wrong. Please do your research! While living at edge, the following things occurred: - when I moved into my apartment, it had not yet been cleaned after the prior tenants moved out - my roommates and I came to find out that we had BED BUGS already present in the unit before moving in - it took edge management 3+ treatments to actually get rid of the bugs because of them choosing to get the cheap chemical treatment that isn't guaranteed to work (the exterminator told me it was "experimental") instead of the heat treatment which kills almost instantly - found out the multiple units in townhouse building 3 had bed bugs due to improper treatment from the school year prior - over winter break, I had an electric bill of $270 for the unit when my roommates and I were not even there so it should have been much cheaper than our normal electric bill of about $150-$160. When we brought it to management, they said there was nothing they could do and said it's just "higher in the winter" when we had the thermostat at 66 over break. ( I heard rumors that the electric bill is actually split between more than just one townhouse which could explain it) - anytime I bring a concern to management they try forwarding me to someone else who almost always does not get back to me or tells me to contact the original property manager I previously spoke to I know this might seem like a "Karen" review but these are things I wish I would have known before signing a lease that is absolutely impossible to get out of. Overall it seems to me like they try to take advantage of college students because some might not speak up about these issues. overall, edge seems like a nice place to live compared to all the other rundown looking apartments in toledo. but once you live here for more than a month, you start to realize why this place has so many awful reviews. like most student housing buildings, all the appliances and furnishings are as cheap as they come (like if dollar tree had furniture). your cabinets will GUARANTEED fall apart in someway. the ice maker will break almost immediately after maintenance "fixes it". sinks, toilets, and/or tubs will mold after a few days. the flooring regularly comes up because its not installed properly. your bedroom doors will either not lock, or not shut at all. the parking situation is a complete disaster. if you didn't manage to get a reserved parking spot, you'll have to park in overflow which is visitor parking. the overflow lot is rarely looked after by security which means it's a 50/50 whether your car gets broken into, vandalized, or completely stolen. my roommate had her catalytic converter stolen TWICE, and the front desk pretty much said tough luck contact the police. theres no cameras so good luck finding the thief. the security is a joke. most of the time that they're even at edge, they spend an hour eating their lunch, stand around and gossip out front, or just go on an adventure thru edge. we saw one of the security guards puffin the wood next to the pool and then go into a townhouse that was having a party. i could write an entire 4 page essay about what's wrong with this place. you have to live here to find out. the reason i'm even giving this place 3 stars is because i've mostly enjoyed my time living here. the bedrooms are spacious and each have their own bathrooms. the apartments look modern. the rent isnt too bad compared to other places. the front desk employees and maintenance are friendly (they even host events and sometimes give out free stuff). the outdoor amenities are nice for the few months that their open. bottom line you get what you pay for read more

I am the guarantor for one of the residents here. I read complaints about this place and the company that runs it about how they will try to squeeze every dime out of their residents. It is true. Their communication is vague and the next thing you know they are charging you more because "you did not meet their requirements". When challenging them on their practices they refer you to their corporate headquarters (Cardinal Management) which is an endless string of automated recordings and unanswered messages. where do I begin? this may seem like a nice apartment complex because of the proximity to campus and the way they present it but I assure you you can get more bang for your buck other places. to start, my apartment was a mess on move-in day and hadn't been cleaned since the last person moved out. we had a rotten egg smell in our kitchen for the entire 2 years i lived there and management just shrugged their shoulders to it. during the dead of winter we had no heat for more than 2 months because a part was on back order (if they have hundreds of apartment complexes you would think they would keep extra parts in stock but no) and no one from the office or management ever offered to let us borrow a portable heater or offer any solutions when outside temps were below freezing. the parking situation is terrible and they didn't even have enough spots for residents at times even with overflow. there were multiple armed robberies in the parking lot and i never felt safe leaving my building after dark. 80% of the time the amenities were either broken or unavailable and there was no rush to repair them ever. the wifi connection is weak but they don't allow you to use your own router. the office does not answer their phones or their voicemail box is full and you can't get through the majority of the time. i moved out on july 31st and it is now sept 13th and i have yet to receive the check for my security deposit back even though the law says it must be received within 30 days. and you think i can get through when i try to call them? nope. this is just a typical corporate run money hungry company who is just trying to take advantage of college kids and i suggest you look elsewhere and get more for what you pay for. read more

For example Recently there was a Armed robbery on the property, with knowing this information I was highly frightened and couldn't stop thinking about my safety. I love seen a few nasty messages saying that "edge 1120 does not have security". I'm here to tell you they do I can testify just how much edge cares about their residents. So initially after hearing this terrifying news like anyone else I was worried but agreeing talking to the leasing team I had a clear understanding of how to get to my home safely without worrying. Edge 1120 reminded that we have a direct number to security for after hours. I was told that security are there to patrol the area as well as assist in walking Residents to and from their car. this has been a thing for as long as the property been open from my understanding. i know personally my friends and I never really used this feature until recently because it just simply slipped my mind to give them a call. anyhow I had to give this a try since I'm a nursing student I have very early/late hours where it's still dark outside when traveling to my car. I have called security for the past week and every time they were there to assist me. Giving me rides to and from my vehicle (and they are pretty nice people and they are armed security). speaking From my point of view it seems that Edge 1120 do have a good security team but as residents we have to do our parts as well by utilizing all the resources Edge 1120 offers us in order to keep us safe once I reminded my friends/roommates that security is able to assist us to and from our vehicles to ensure our safety they too felt a huge sign of relief and has felt safer since then because they started utilizing their resources. If your like me and does not feel safe walking alone to your call please give them a call they are great I'm posting this because crime is everywhere but it's how the situation is being handled to prevent this from happening again that is the most important part! read more

Don't get fooled by the looks, it might be looking nice and modern and the tour they take you to show you the apartment, pool, slide and "Starbuck coffee" might be amazing but i lived there long enough to say this, i wouldn't recommend it for the following reasons ; Car broke into at night and everything was stolen, when i asked the management they said that can't afford surveillance cameras. Overflow parking area for guests is always full of trash which is embarrassing. Terrible wifi connection. Package delivery system sucks, i got a package and i wasn't notified until i called Fedex 3 days later and told me that it has been delivered (and no it hasn't need returned to sender i don't know why). Over priced apartment for one bedroom you can 2 bedrooms for a lower price and a safer area. Really thin walls you can hear your neighbor using his kitchen appliances due to the fact that the facilities were built in hurry and didn't care about noise proofing. Never used the pool due you the amount of dirt in it. And yes you guys need to fix the front door at the main building, every time it jams either you wait for someone to open in from inside or you walk around the building. And most of the time there is no wet wipes to clean the machine after using it in the fitness studio. This place has a HUGE issue with WiFi and I am SICK OF IT! It seems every other day, there is "building wide" connection issues and not only do the staff not inform residents about it so they can plan accordingly (I always have to call in to ask what's up with the internet), but they get an attitude when you ask them why there is no internet, something YOU are paying for! Ridiculous! Then, there is the issue with parking! They are making almost all of the parking immediately surrounding the building paid spots so residents really have no choice but to pay for parking, park far away from their complex or park in the overflow lot. This is annoying! Not to mention the overflow lot is always crowded! The set up of the building is really weird, since it seems they were trying to make it more study friendly but have a study area smack dab in the lobby right when you walk into the main building. Honestly who wants to study in an area that is noisy and where people are constantly walking in and out of? The actual study rooms are super cold and always unsanitary. They could use a good wipe down. The apartment itself is fine, but there is a huge issue with knats. I've lived in two separate apartments at The Edge and in both there was a huge knats issue right when I moved in so I have the ribbon fly dangling in my bathroom and kitchen areas. Not pretty! My bathtub as well as my roommates seems to get clogged every other month so we are constantly calling maintenance. There is an issue with the drains here. The pool outside is supposed to be for residents and invited guests but in the summer, this place might as well be a public community pool because everyone from off the streets can easily come in and use it! Super annoying, wish they would regulate it more. They charge all residents a random annual electricity fee and in general, my electric bill always seems to be much higher than it should. However, the Edge uses a third party electricity company so I can't really blame them for that. Those are my main qualms about living here. But overall, these are really nice apartments. Fully equipped with a laundry and dryer, television in the living room, dish washer and in bedroom bathrooms. Can't beat that, honestly! These are fairly new apartments too, so everything is modern and fresh for the most part. Whenever there is a maintenance issue, there is a really quick turnaround time between when you make the complaint and someone comes to fix the issue. Getting mail is easy. There is always someone in the office to give you your packages. The staff makes it a habit to learn your name. They also have good incentives for resigning leases. Last year I got a 2018 iPad and this year I got a $300 gift card to any store of my choosing. Overall, I would recommend the apartment if you can bypass the few issues I mentioned earlier. read more

for being the most expensive housing for students around the campus this place is pretty cheap. there were a lot of cracks not fixed on the ceiling when i moved in and the ones they did fix the paints didn't match. i requested maintenance multiple times to fix a light bulb but all got denied (the light bulb is a special fit light bulb i couldn't find the one needed at any store). when dealing with the office the response time was slow and not consistent. there are hidden fees that they don't tell you until it's time to pay them. read more

If you have reserved parking that they charge you $25 for they do not care if anybody park in your spot but they will tell you they will take care of the issues and never will. The employees in the off can barley answer any of your question. Edge communication skill sucks. I do not recommend living here for anybody. They also don't keep their promises that they tell you when you sign the lease. UPDATED After living here for half of my leasing term as well as working in the office: Edge offers many amazing things that a dorm wouldn't. Things like an open gym, free Starbucks, a conference room, a game room with ping pong, table shuffleboard, and TVs, a computer lab with free unlimited black and white printing, an amazing pool with chairs to lay out, a fire pit to enjoy a summer or fall night, a gazebo with a giant grill and TVs, free bike storage, game rooms including PS4 and XBOX One, sitting areas all around the little Edge Campus so you can relax outside with your guests if you choose, and most importantly amazing places to live. These houses are simply amazing. Spacious, luxurious, and modern. Being a very appreciative person I recognize all the amazing things that I get through Edge and all those things are well worth my rent of $645+electricity (last months was $25). I live in a townhome. This living space is much bigger than my house with my parents and so much nicer. It's close enough to campus for me to walk to class but also have the option to ride the bus for when the weather doesn't agree with walking. BUT After about half of my leasing term and being employed by Edge I have come to the conclusion that I WILL NOT BE RENEWING my lease at Edge 1120, heres why: As a whole I like living at Edge but I will not live here next year because of the management (minus the leasing manager). They treated me like a nuisance while working for them as well as my fellow residents. To get in a screaming match with an unhappy resident is not a good start to showing you know how to provide quality customer service for this company. After getting a job at Edge I saw it as a way to help out the bad rep they were receiving and I thought it was just because residents were being rude, but its not. It wasn't ever because residents were ruining the image of this beautiful property, it was the way management chose to handle each situation of complaints and making them even more unhappy. If they could be more compassionate they may have less frustrated residents on their hands. Think about it: when a resident comes in and complains about something wrong, because the place is brand new and there will be hiccups, and the general manager says they don't have time to come back later and they already took this time out of their busy class and work schedule to come down and she sends them away? How is the resident going to feel? I would feel not important and angry. Every resident should feel welcome wherever they are on Edge's campus. They should want to take advantage of every amenity and perk. This is not the case at Edge because of the way management treats people after they sign their lease. Edge would be a whole new world if the management was replaced, we might be able to salvage the reputation if action is taken soon. Until then I'm no longer interested. To sum up my feelings of working at Edge I would say I felt belittled and like I was being treated like a child. I was great at my job. Polite, fast and efficient so there was no reason for the general manager to micromanage everything I did. Sure, monitor my duties, thats your job but don't half tell me how to do something and then yell at me when I got confused half way through and ask questions. Working at Edge was supposed to be a good way to do something productive after my mom died and the general manager made my getting better harder and longer. To sum up my living here at Edge I would say its nice, very nice but don't go down to the office expecting a welcoming environment from anyone but the CAs or the leasing manager. Really, if you have any problems at all with your staying here don't hope for them to be solved. Maintenance is great too, but if you have roommate issues or anything besides maintenance issues it will take a lot of time to even be recognized let alone dealt with in a timely manor. Edge is a nice, upscale apartment community with great amenities (when they're open or working). The apartments are decent but clearly made with cheap materials. The upscale feel is really the only thing that will make you attracted to this place, but as a college student, who cares?! If you want to feel like you're in a "spiced-up" dorm with constant monitoring and surveillance of you and those around you, this is the place for you! I've had numerous "noise complaints", which are clearly just an excuse that the "security guards" give because you're talking at 9:15 p.m. or playing games with friends but your blinds are closed and they can't see in, so they want to knock and check it out to be nosy. They also will come to your door when the fire alarm goes off but several hours later to "make sure everything is good and your apartment isn't burning down" but they really just want to know if you are smoking something in your apartment. Listen... this place is a spiced-up dorm and if you want that, then cool, this is for you. This business won't protect you though and they are clearly worried about themselves which is the reason I moved out early and had my apartment subleased. I'm moving somewhere that I can talk to my friends at 9:15 p.m. and not worry about somebody standing out my door constantly monitoring everything I say. And yes... I'm not scared to say it. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL IF YOU ARE 22+ YEARS OLD AND DO NOT LIKE TO BE WATCHED LIKE AN 18 YEAR OLD IN A DORM ROOM OR LIKE A CHILD AT HOME. read more

This place is not worth what you pay for it. They are strict and tell you lies about what you actually get with this apartment. Check in took almost 2 hours to just get the keys. The buildings and parking lots are not finished. The paint job, furniture, bed, and appliances are cheap. My friend moved in and had marks all over the walls, the floors were full of paint, and there was a huge dirt mark in the bathtub. The bed is a dorm bed, which means if you like to sleep on springs and get no sleep then it is perfect for you. The hot and cold marks on the shower were backwards. The cabinets were not aligned and one of the drawers broke when they opened it for the first time. The cable wasn't turned on the first couple days because they forgot. Oh and they promise you PREMIUM channels with HBO, which is a lie. They WiFi is not super fast, its shared with the entire building, and you are not allowed to have a router. Yeah the pool is nice, and they have cool new things. But the management treats you like a dog to behave or you get in trouble. So if you like all of these things, then good for you and sign a lease! read more

The appliances seem to be the cheapest stuff they could buy. Handles on cabinets are constantly breaking. The parking could be better with a bigger main lot so all residents can park in there instead of the overflow lot when it gets to crowded. The wifi is hit or miss depending on the time and day. The security officers that patrol around ruin the entire EDGE experience. The officers lie to your face, and go out of there way to back things harder for you. They made 6 of my friends leave at 1130 for being around alcohol. They security unit said that if you are not 21 then you are not allowed to be around alcohol even if other people are 21. My friends were visiting from my hometown about two hours away. They would not leave my front porch until they left. The officers were very unreasonable when explaining that my friends literally had no where else to go besides my apartment. The officers simply said buy a hotel room and go there. The officers are assholes for no reason and will not listen to any point of view besides their own. There is no parties or get togethers at EDGE because the security will shut it down by 11. For the price it is not worth it. I've been told I'm only allowed to have 6 people in my apartment at one time. For 600 dollars a month I should be able to have whoever I want in my place whenever I want without the fear of people getting kicked out by security. read more
