I attended Issy's DivinexFeminine spin class during a work trip to San Diego and it was such a beautiful experience! The room had calming lighting, a fog machine, and awesome music. The second I walked in and saw a huge mural that said F*@K BASIC on the wall, I knew I had found my spot. Issy had a great class that was challenging and focused on embracing feminine energy and beauty. The class was followed by stretching and a sound bath, and every participant was given a mantra card and and essential oil roll on. The mantra card was exactly what I needed in the moment, and made me feel so connected to myself. I felt so welcomed into this space, and would recommend it to anyone in San Diego!

I can't speak enough about Edge EastLake, by far the tightest fitness community that I've ever been a part of. It's more than just a physical workout, the instructors lead the community in bettering themselves in all aspects. Physical, mental, spiritual fitness, ultimately making better human beings out in the world. The music, choreography and instructors invite beginner riders and advanced riders to challenge themselves tri do better. But it's the community that truly makes it a special place. Free from judgement, riders are encouraged to let loose, sing and yell, or just ride in your own zone. But honestly, the workouts are great and I always leave dripping in sweat! F*@k Basic!

Tried this cycling gym for the first time using Class Pass last week. Edge Cycle is located inside RevFitness, in case you have trouble finding it. When I got inside, I was confused where to check in because there was no one at the desk. There was no receptionist. It was only the instructor there, who at the time was inside the studio. After a few minutes of waiting, she came out. The studio decor was nice, though I found the space a bit cramped. The space to walk in between the bikes were narrow(see attached photo). The instructor cycled the spot light colors, as well as turned them on and off, so just a heads up. Though it was only for a portion of the class, I wasn't a fan of the room being completely pitch dark. It was a good workout. Great music. However, I personally found the music to be too loud for my comfort and the instructor mic to be screechy. The instructor herself was motivating. As for the loud music, I noticed after class that they do provide earplugs outside the studio, located on a table. The members seem to really enjoy themselves. Though I wouldn't return to this studio again as I've experienced better.

SUCH a fun spin studio! I've been to many different spin studios in the past and edge has blown them all out of the water! The studio is impeccably clean, cute little touches everywhere, and all the necessities provided (towels, hair ties, tampons, face wipes etc) The bikes were super comfy and the teacher was on her shit! Great tunes and challenging, yet achievable pace and flow of class! They even have a little coffee/CBD drink area with healthy snacks! Will most definitely be back!!

Came here about a month ago, and it was such a fun experience. They offer indoor cycling, while abiding by social distancing rules, and everyone maintains their mask on throughout the ride. Great instructors, and they offer a value price for their packages. Definitely try them out if you are new to cycling, they might be your next studio.

Showed up to my 8:30am class 5 minutes early to be told the class was being cancelled due to me being the only one there. You would think 1 student still worth having a class. I told the instructor, I was ok having the class alone and she said she rather cancel. I had asked my nanny to come today so I could go get my first workout of the year, so not only I didn't get my workout but also paid a nanny for nothing. I was offered two free classes for the inconvenience however extremely disappointed I wasn't able to get the workout I wanted due to lack of commitment from the instructor. Being a working mom is almost impossible to get a workout when we want and I have heard great things about this studio, however today it was a 0 star experience. Will maybe attempt to come another day but definitely not a great first experience and extremely disrespectful to cancel a class 5 min before it starts.

Took a 45 minute cycle class with Troy and loved it. It was my boyfriend's first spin class and even he liked it! The studio is super clean and cute and the music is great. I love that they have a snack bar and lockers but was disappointed that it is $3 to rent shoes on top of the $25 class. Overall a great experience!

I wish I could give Edge 100 Yelp stars :P this review is long overdue... I've been going to Edge consistently for 6 months now and I am so addicted!!! Not only has it contributed to weight loss/feeling stronger, it has brought a whole new meaning to a fitness family. The instructors and regulars at Edge Cycle have amazing energy and are positive AF. You truly feel like you are in a no judge zone. The design of the space is beautiful - it's fun, edgy, and sleek! Lots of fun photo spots :) The instructors are AMAZING and the themed classes are fun! Check out explicit Wednesday if you like hip-hop or Red Room on Thursdays for deep house beats. No matter what class you take, I can guarantee you'll have a great time all the while getting a solid workout. I've taken all the instructors and each have their own flair, which keeps it fun & exciting! Some have commented on the stuffy rooms - sometimes they're warm at first, but I just look at it like I'm losing more calories/getting that extra sweat in. Plus, I've never been to a workout studio that wasn't a little stuffy after back to back classes. They always turn the AC on and overall, this studio is super clean with fun perks like lockers, make-up wipes, a loaded snack/coffee bar, and superrrr cute & comfy workout gear! Definitely recommend trying a class - you won't be disappointed!

From the moment you walk in, the front desk team sets the tone by greeting you by your first name and making you feel genuinely welcome. That same personal touch carries into the studio, where the coaches take the time to get to know you and regularly call you by name during class, whether they are cheering you on, correcting form, or helping you level up your effort. I appreciate their music choices, detailed instruction, and the way they balance encouragement with just the right amount of challenge to push us past our comfort zones. The coaching team is always clear with cues, form corrections, and modifications, which makes it easy to show up, work hard, and trust the process. I especially want to recognize Coach Michelle for her fun class vibe, positive interaction with the members, and engaging coaching style. She plays some of the best workout music, with energetic tracks that give you rhythm on the tread or rower, like Lauryn Hill's "Lost Ones," and it is awesome when she sings along and keeps the whole room smiling while we are grinding through the tough blocks. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and loves the people working out with her; the way she calls us "my loves" matches the warmth and energy she brings to every class. The people and atmosphere here make the workouts genuinely enjoyable while still pushing us to become stronger and more confident every class. I am really grateful for this community; it does not just feel like a gym, it feels like a workout family that is always in your corner.

Once I signed all the forms and created my profile, the instructor for the 10 a.m. class came out and gave me a tour of what to expect, how to move between the different workouts throughout the class, where to look for instructions and what to listen out for. She was very thorough and calmed my nerves down (I don't want to be falling behind by myself in the class!) The class that I attended was divided into 3 stations: treadmill, rowing machine and floor (with dumbbells). Each machine/space in a station is numbered, so once you're assigned a number, that's the spot in each station that you're supposed to go. There's no need to "fight" over a spot with someone else. It's really organized. The instructor, Michelle, was entertaining. She's very motivating and I found myself entertained by her laughter, which took away a little of the suffering throughout the workout. If you're a data geek, you're gonna love this. They display your heart rate throughout the class (you're given a heart rate tracker to wear during the class) and you can easily see the zones in which you're operating. I'm looking forward to having my butts kicked in the next class.

Now these clowns keep trying to charge me. Tried emailing several times and no response. But Alma was quick to send over a cancellation form with an additional charge. Had to contact my bank to block them. Also the gym is relatively dirty compared to other gyms. Go use the urinals in the men's restroom and you'll see exactly what I mean. Mold or some black residue coming out of soap dispensers and the urinals are always have a "slippery" sign under them. I'll post a pic here it I can. NEVER visiting Crunch anywhere again. Making Planet Fitness look good with their BS. EDIT: Steve claims I personally bought a membership, but the paperwork says otherwise. The agreement on file, which they themselves sent me, clearly lists someone else as the account holder for both the credit card and bank account that were charged. Nowhere does it show my card or my authorization. I've never disputed using the gym (how else could I take that pic of the mold?), and I'm not worried about paying dues. What I do want is an answer as to why my card was being charged at all when the membership agreement doesn't list me as the account holder. For context, my membership was originally just an add-on. When Crunch Bonita closed, it appears they split add-ons into individual accounts to create more revenue..at least thats my personal theory. IDK how else this would happen because Steve won't explain that part. If you want I'll post the agreement so everyone can see for themselves. Wish the establishment can give more trial days. My friend and I reserved a higher intensity class that was only for 15 mins ( thunder) . My other 2 friends reserved a hr (50 mins) long class ( floor Pilates ). CONs: - The room can accommodate 3 ppl per session. Looking at my friends that reserved the floor Pilates, 2 ppl will be a comfortable, 3 I think is just crowded . Same as in the room where I was at, 3 equipments. A little too tight. - cleaning equipments between sessions. Not so sure about that. Not enough time to wipe off anything. - the monitors are too high if you're doing any floor exercises. Hyperextending the neck to look up to see the video playing. - we can barely hear the recorded video. - had a little bit of an issue reserving the class from the app. - the locker, have to purchase the key from the vending machine. Can't use a regular lock. - can't use own yoga mat, we were told that we have to use their mat, that also have be rented out. - my friend and I were also not given an opportunity to attend another class ( since class we attended was only for 15 mins). PROs: - benefit of the infra red heat - 24/7 access - for safety - multiple cameras and alert necklaces avail for the ones that goes there during odd hours and finding themselves alone. - there are a lot of different classes that can be booked and on rotation booking in advance.

From the start of the appointment to the end he was amazing! He shook all four of our hands, asked our kids what their goals were and really tried to interact with them. We went into the workout area and he let both of my kids try any approved machine they wanted and he took the time to really teach them how to use it safely, but with a fun twist. We went outside, he explained all the programs that were relatable to their ages, he said "hey" to other employees and had the kids wave to them and say hi. It was all very natural. Aside from machines, he taught them some dumbbell exercises with the lightest weights and then had them show off their muscles. My kids were excited before, but now they are PUMPED. We never felt rushed, always asked our permission before doing anything for them and really made them feel like they were meant to be there. We ended our appointment with him taking the time to walk us all the way to the doors, handshakes from us and lots of fist bumps from my kids. It's only been a day and my kids can't wait to go back. Thank you Alan for educating my kids, being patient and most importantly making them feel seen and important.
