We explained our situation that we needed to get to the airport and Josh made us a priority and came much sooner than an hour. Josh was very friendly and helpful. He reassured us that he would get our dead rental back from New Smyrna to ORD for us. Once we reach the airport, we called the garage to confirm that the car has been dropped off, and the young lady could confirm that Josh had taken after pictures to ensure that we would not be charged for any damages that we did not incur. Edgewater Towing towed my ex husbands motorcycle after a deadly accident. The only people at first that was allowed in was the investigators. Once they finished their job, only the insurance company and next of kin were allowed to see the bike. Next of kin was supposed to show a death certificate, which we did not have yet so we asked the investigator to call them and let them know we don't have the certificate yet but would like to view the bike that day. Tow company said yes we can come. We were there within 1 hour of his call. When we got there, the motorcycle was taken apart (completely different from the pictures the tow company took when they bought it to their bay. We went into the office and told the girl there that things were missing off the bike. She told us "someone" claiming to be his wife was there the day before. We asked for the death certificate she had to show and she said she must have accidently thrown it away. Weird right? This has caused the family much pain and anguish. We did get a couple of the items back because we knew who pretended to be his "wife". Not the point tho. Edgewater really screwed up... we told a couple of the officers and they told us it was a civil matter and agreed completely that Edgewater Tow Company did a lot of things wrong. Unfortunately, we cannot find a lawyer who feels this case is worth the trouble. We will never be at peace with what they did. It's despicable. read more

Car was picked up Friday. Checked with shop Monday & they didn't have my car. Called tow company & she said she didn't have any paperwork on it but would look & call me back. Dispatch called to say there was a mixup & it had gone to the wrong shop. She told me they were going now to get it to the correct shop. They offered nothing as compensation and snickered when I told her Uber was getting expensive and now I'm 2 days behind in repairs. All she said was "sorry" and hung up. From the moment I called Edgewater Towing after hitting wild boar on 95N outside of Edgewater (Police referred them to me) the lady Dispatcher was caring and efficient. She said tops 45 minutes Id see their tow truck and yet I was called by her 10 minutes later saying driver Chris was on the way. Chris arrived within 20 minutes of my initial call. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and knew immediately where to tow my CRV. It was late 9:00 PM and AutoRepair firm was closed. Chris reached security. They were waiting for us when we arrived in Daytona. I was on my way to visit my daughter in Flagler Beach. Chris found a Wendys for my daughter to meet and Pick me up. Rudest place I have ever visited in my life!! Do not have your car towed here. My first visit after experiencing a traumatic experience and the lady behind the counter could barely lift her head to see who was coming in. When she finally did look up it seemed like she was bothered to do her job. After my accident they held my belongings and would not allow me access to my items. One of which was a child's medication and they basically told me they did not car. read more
