The young man who we spoke to made unprofessional and demeaning racially motivated comments including "your type are always getting into trouble". I would like to thank Noah at Bishops towing. I am a senior citizen and my battery was dead in my car. I thought it had to be towed. My mechanic called for a tow truck and sent them to my location. I told him we tried to jump the battery but would not start. Noah looked at it and he said he was sure that it didn't need towed, so he got his battery pack charger and it started right up. Some may be concerned that the new name will in some way diminish the old reliable Bishop's. I know I felt that way. But I can tell you that as far as I can tell, it's the same old Bishop's. Same friendly faces. Same outstanding customer service. Same high quality & meticulous work. I had the CCM Bracket replaced and recalculated on my 2020 Edge and everything came off without a hitch. My son's car wouldn't start on the beach. We called AAA and they sent a tow truck but that tow truck wasn't able to go on the beach. They kept trying to get service for us but eventually said they were not able to. We called Bishop's and right away we were impressed! The dispatch customer service was outstanding. They gave us clear pricing and honest updates on the timing of the tow truck. When the tow arrived George was very honest and nice also. He looked up our make/model of our vehicle to confirm it was front wheel drive! I needed some help just looking over some minor damage to a rental I had while down in Florida, and Bishops was recommended to me. I stopped in and was very quickly helped and had the car looked at. Ultimately, with the car being an insured rental, rather than do the repair, the owner had one of his guys come out and like an artist, he was able to use a hammer and a piece of plywood to go and fix up the issue I had. It wasn't the report they were going to charge for, and I didn't have any cash on me to tip the guy. I tried to tip him digitally and he joked "Man I'm old school...I don't have any of those apps...but don't worry about it....just pay it forward." I went in afterward to tell the owner about that and even offered to bring by some beer or something and he politely declined, stating with humility "That's just what we do." READ: CUSTOMER BEWARE ‼ I can not begin to explain the terrible experience I have had with bishops. My car was brought in early September after an accident. Quoted for 1 week for cosmetic damage. My car was in for two weeks. My cars damage was repaired at a high school auto tech level. Paint match was the only thing done properly. Junk yard parts and salvage from my accident was used. My gouged out rim was painted over and switched to another tire. My car was driven 200 miles " for a test drive" then I get word an employee took my car home three separate times. I called for months with no response and nothing but bitchy attitudes when they did answer the phone. Finally I make a Facebook post looking for similar experiences and another employee sees it. She then calls me the next day from the shop with a terrible attitude and insisted that I was incorrect about the damage and " test drive" my car was taken on. My car didn't act right since the second I picked it up a week after it was due. My tail light was still not repaired and the Forman never put it on record that my car wasn't finished. So then a few days after receiving my car with it's horn now going off randomly, no car alarm, trunk still not working, car running like complete crap, my clutch goes. Now that seemed odd since I've drove manual cars since I was 15 and I know I didn't burn out my clutch. Now to think of it was probably due to their 200 mile joy ride. So from September 2018 to now December 2018 I received now response from this shop until I made a Facebook public post on a local news group when an employee found my post and then reached out. The work was terrible. Customer service terrible Price was ridiculous for the workmanship and I will never let my car touch their shop again. Do NOT take your car here!!! I had them tow my car, BCS someone hit it. They kept my car for a month giving me the run around, telling me they didn't know if it was totaled or not. After a month of giving me the run around, they say it's totaled and charge me over 1200.00 for storage. I was not the one that took a month to do my job!!! our 2019 kia soul was side swiped by a tow truck company and so we got an estimate from bishops. it was for 3,230. to replace two doors. we also got an estimate from the insurance company of the tow truck that hit us. the insurance company would only pay 50%. so i went to roy at bishops and said can you fix my car based off the estimate the insurance company gave us. the estimate from the insurance company was for 2,100. roy said yes we will use the estimate from the insurance company. basically roy doubled it from the original 2,100 and ended up wanting 4,247 to replace 2 doors. the price was doubled!!bishops charged me 4,247 and put two previously wrecked doors repaired with bondo on our kia soul. these were not doors with windows,locks,switches, etc. the doors were were just the metal butt naked striped doors. bishops switched all the windows, locks, switches etc to the bondo used doors. bishops (roy) doubling the price and totally not honoring the estimate he said he would honor. listen i am a sensible person and can understand that a estimate is just that a estimate. but when i found out it was doubled i was very upset about that. and roy the owner said thats how it goes they have to play this game with the insurance company. i couldn't tell bishops i don't want them to do the work for double the price but they already started the work so i was stuck. the insurance company would only pay half, which i paid out of pocket for the other half. also bishops said they would only have the car for 4 days and they wouldn't start on the car until they have all the parts. 2 weeks later bishops called me to tell me they were waiting on more parts to come in and that they need an approval for a supplement of 1,000 dollars. which later turned into 2100 for the "supplement". just a fyi. also there is a lady behind the counter in the middle of the office who looks like she is very pissed all the time. you'll know exactly who i'm talking about when you walk into bishops and you see her look at you. trust me. she looks pissed off. bishops doubled the price and lied about estimate. bishops said 4 days to repair. it took over 3 weeks. roy did say he would rebuttal my review. i asked him what would he say to these accusations and he literally hung up on me when i spoke to him via a phone call. also bishops will text you the day before your car is supposed to come in as a reminder. i said ok thank you. ill bring it in. i also asked them if they have all the parts and they never responded. i have the text on my phone. bishops would only respond to what ever they want to respond to. the guys out back that i met seemed like the only decent people in the whole company. the guys who had did all the physical work to my car. roy might seem like a nice person but indeed is not who you first meet. all in all. i would not recommend bishops for anyone unless the insurance company is paying 100%. and id still be worried to recommend them. so i wont recommend them. i will not return to bishops ever again for any of my auto needs. i hope i do not have any issues with the repairs they did because of this post, that they will read and probably disregard. which ive seen them very responsive to all the other reviews so who knows. here are pics of what they did. also i took photos of the car while it was in their shop half way thru. when i finally got the car over 3 weeks later it had a scratch om the same side they worked on. which i had to point out to them. they fixed the scratch. one would think that one would inspect the car before telling the customer that the car was ready to be paid for. read more

Went in with my mother to pick up her vehicle on March 4 had a few questions regarding the repair the owner Roy came outside with us when we questioned the items he became very aggressive he did not like to be questioned when I asked him to take it back a little as my mother is 82 years old and we felt like he was becoming aggressive to possibly hit us he then stated that it's a Friday he has nothing left and turned around and walked away we then calledinsurance company who talk to somebody in the office : The office staffed attempt to assist. However still one item is questioned we did tell them how aggressive he was and that we were going to call the police because we were fearful that he was going to hit us the two girls looked at each other like they know she has a hot temper and that's what I said to them I know you both have seen his temper in the past they didn't say anything but you can tell by how they reacted when I told them How he acted this is not the first time that he acts like this I would like people to know to be aware of this company as this owner is very aggressive and does not like to be questioned on his repairs!!! read more

Customer service - zero. Vehicle restoration - slow. I was astonished this was the same place that offered me exemplary customer service and fast repairs just four years ago! Terrible, Terrible service. My car had front end damage with NO airbag deployment after I hit a deer. My car sat in their shop for THIRTY DAYS. I was beat down and incredibly disappointed when I finally got the call to pick it up. When I walked into the office, four people were there. All four of them just looked at me. Nobody smiled. Nobody asked if they could help me. They just stared at me. Ya know what, this lack of customer service doesn't deserve my anger - they were awful with very poor people skills. OH and to top it all off - nobody walked the car with me. Nobody showed me what was done. In fact, the last letter of my vehicle name was hanging off when I got my car and there was tape left on my car. Seriously???? I have NEVER had such a negative experience. The purpose of this review is to simply alert you the consumer to my experience, so you don't find yourself in the same scenario many months after hiring this shop to repair your vehicle: * 9 weeks after my vehicle was dropped of, it had NOT been worked on yet * I called weekly to inquire about the status of my vehicle, and the reason I was given each time I called was "we're waiting on parts" * I was told they had started working on it, and then found out that they had NOT started repairs yet, as "they were waiting on parts" when I called to speak with the owner * My vehicle is a 2017 vehicle, not any type special or antique vehicle where parts might be hard to come across, and there's a dealer right down the street * When I went in to speak with the owner in person, he was EXTREMELY unprofessional. * I asked him: "If you were me (the customer) would you be frustrated?" * His response was "yes" (I'm thought: OK..now we're getting somewhere..) * Then when I asked him "who I should be upset with?" when my vehicle has been in his shop for over 2 months and hasn't been worked on yet?": His response was "You..you got into an accident..." * Wow...? * FACT - This company makes their ,living off of citizens getting into accidents * This is just my opinion, but telling customers that it is our fault when our vehicle has been sitting in their bodyshop for 9 weeks without being worked on is NOT right and it's NOT what I expected to here. * BOTTOM LINE - * If you want to avoid the aggravation of waiting months and months for your vehicle to get fixed and deal with the possibility of incurring additional rental costs because of the extreme delay, I would HIGHLY recommend NOT using this company. * In this case: I am now unfortunately incurring over $200/week in rental fees, and must to go through the aggravation of having the vehicle moved to a reputable body shop that will actually do what they're paid to do and fix it * If you want to be treated with the slightest bit of respect (that all paying customer deserve), I would HIGHLY recommend NOT using this company. * The only kind thing I have to say about this company is: The ladies that work up front and answer the phones were professional. read more

This is the second time I have taken my car to the body shop And the second time something has gone wrong I got my car back on Monday and hadn't locked it until last night and when I locked it I was locked out of my car. I called the body shop to ask for a tow truck and the lady had told me I had to wait until the next morning so I Was stranded at Walmart until I finally found someone to come and pick me up the lady did call me back to send a tow truck however once the tow truck person had gotten there I told him how my key fob wasn't working once I got my car back and he still kept trying to use it so after the third time of trying it I told him or yelled at him saying my car key fob did not work after I did this he turned around walked back to his tow truck got in and drove away this was so unprofessional I can't even believe it happened. I will never be going back to this Auto shop and you shouldn't go there either read more
