Yesterday my 19 yo daughter went to pick up a prescription that her pediatricians office sent over for her. When she arrived, John (official title now being best pharmacist ever!) Pulled her aside and explained to her that he wasn't comfortable giving her the meds because she is allergic to penicillin and apparently people who are allergic to penicillin should not take Cefalexin either, as they often have the same reactions. They called me and explained what was going on, and not only did he catch what her drs office of almost 19years did not, but he called the office multiple times to try and get a new prescription. So while we will not be going back to that drs office, we will never leaves Bells! Thank you John, what would we do without you!

Not only was the pharmacist able to fix my *2 week apart* issue that my prior pharmacy had put me in, but he also called me & updated me on everything, considering he knew I hated the situation my prior pharmacist put me in. The prices are even cheaper here than at the small pharmacy in my town! While my prescriptions are free, my mom doesn't have prescription insurance. So, I used the app "Good RX" to try and save her $. The prices at Bell Pharmacy are CHEAPER than Good RX! My mom was paying approx $50+ more/month for her prescriptions @ our other pharmacy. So, for the simple fact that I loathe horrible customer service/incompetence & had her switch pharmacies also, (bcuz we go to the dr & fill our prescriptions the same time/day & I didn't wanna walk into my old pharmacy again b/c of the stress they put me under), she - without intent, instantly is saving $50+/month-$600+/year! So, not only is the customer service impeccable, so are their prices! Going to Bell Pharmacy will not be regretted by any customers. I highly recommend you go here if you live in the area.

I came to Metuchen to run errands, more specifically to go to Boyt Drugs to see if they had medical supplies for my family member. Parking is at a premium in Metuchen, but I found Boyt had a few spaces in a parking lot. I decided I would park at Boyt, walk to the cleaners, AHCS, and make Boyt my last stop before leaving. As I exited my vehicle a man in plain clothes came from behind his vehicle to advise me that I could not park there. I excused myself and asked if he was speaking to me, the only other person and vehicle in the parking lot. He repeated himself, told me I couldn't park there, and pointed to the tow sign, which I saw when coming into the lot with the intention of being a customer. The self described "owner of the parking lot" made me so uncomfortable. I chose to move my car onto the street. I went to every other business I planned, however, due to his aggressive nature I would rather drive to South Jersey to get the one item I needed from Boyt Drugs. Furthermore, a little research revealed that the parking lot is owned by Metuchen. The individual that chose to speak to me is the owner (based on public records I was able to pull from his license plate - the vehicle he doesn't even own outright). The bottom line is, please be kind to everyone. You never know who you are encountering. I'm sure it is frustrating to see other businesses flourishing around you, however, you never know when there could be an opportunity to turn someone into a customer; or in this case totally turn a customer away. I undoubtedly would NOT recommend Boyt Drugs for any medical need.

I highly recommend morristown pharmacy at 95 Madison ave. In the same building as doctors. On first floor past elevators on right. It is very accessible.Like a family. They are wonderful there. Made my prescription transfers so easy. Staff is great. Calls me when medications are do for renewal. If you are looking for a family pharmacy like rite aid please go to morristown pharmacy. You will be happy. I love it there. Im a nurse so of course im worried more about my medicines. They are so friendly to talk to and answers my questions about my medicines expertly. They were nice enough to call that pharmacy for me and inquire about the possibility of making the med and how long it would take. They went above and beyond what they were expected to do. When I was to pick up my son's medication, Ashley (a pharmacy employee) was nice enough to make a curbside delivery to me. I was so grateful for her help, as I had 3 little ones that weren't in the best moods and under the weather. I will be sending all my scripts here from now on!

When you go inside Liberty Drug, you will see that it's set-up is messy and doesn't look clean…read more Everything in there seems dated back to the 1970s. I am posting today because of Liberty Drug's terrible customer service. My doctor put in an order for a compound to be made for me and Liberty Drug is slow (generally speaking, my experience is that their turnaround is over a week). Specifically, I placed my compound order a week and a half ago. At the time, I told them that I wanted the "small tube" TWICE during the phone call. Today, around 12:30pm, they called to say that my compound was ready for pickup. Approximately 3pm, I went to pick up it. They made the larger tube for me (which is about $40 more). The pharmacist stated that they needed to remake it. Then, the cashier said that it will be a 10-20 minutes wait. I was confused on the wait time knowing that it takes them a while to make compounds. So, I asked to speak with the manager. When I went to speak to the manager about this to understand my wait time, he blamed me for this issue (remember, all I wanted to know was how long it will take to remake my compound). He said that since this has happened twice with my order (it happened once before a year or two ago), he said that it was my fault. He did not look to his employees as the source of error. The lady next to him said that I needed to specify how many milliliter (ml) tube I wanted. I said that I would not know the ml size of this compound. This is not something that I look at or consider - would you know how many ml (or ounces) is your toothpaste? I said that the person who took my order should (and could) have clarified the size and cost, especially since I mentioned twice that I wanted the "small tube". But, this person did not. This person just hurried up and hung up after taking my order (he was abrupt and rushed during this call). So, the manager outright blamed me. He did not look to his people and their obligation to clarify the order. He did not look into his management failings to train his staff to ask the right questions. He had no consideration that it took them a week and a half to give me my order and that I drove approximately 30 minutes to go there on a very cold day. With that said, I have found the cashiers to be very friendly over the years, although there is a lot of turnover. Based on my experiences at Liberty Drug, they are not a well-oiled machine. Their processes and communications are similar to the store set-up - messy, not clean and outdated.
