I picked up my prescription after waiting a long time, even though it was ordered earlier in the day. I was given two bags that were staples closed with the prescription papers on each bag. One bag had half of my medication. The other bag had an opened bag of cookies! Worst Walgreens experience ever. I pushed the button to get help with get an over the counter drug from the locked screens. Unfortunately the box was torn, so I asked nicely to get another one which I did. Aileen (I will explain why I am using her name shortly), pretty much belittled my choice to get another one when I explained the box was torn. She worked alongside me and said "ridiculous". I asked to speak to the manager who was as non-challant as could be as I told my story. I pointed to Aileen as I described my ordeal and the manager, asked "who is 'she'" and when I said "her" the manager, said "she has a name, her name is Aileen, I don't like all that 'she' , 'her'". So Alexandra, the manager, basically could give a crap about how I felt. Alexandra was more concerned about whether I used my abuser's name than my story. Alexandra only cared about whether I was using the name of the employee that had insulted my choice. I paid $55 for something and unlike Aileen said to me, it's not just for the pills it's for the whole product, the box included. And I have the right to not be insulted for what I am paying for. And Alexandra, do better. You never told me your name, you never asked me for my name, yet you were making me feel like an idiot because I did not know my abuser's name. Next time start by having some empathy for your insulted customer. read more

The service here is terrible. I can see why they have such a bad rating. The service was not good and had to wait 2 hours to get a medication called in. I really try and avoid this place whenever possible. It really is a nightmare coming here. read more

In addiion: I tried to give a feedback on Walgreens website - it was impossible to complete the form and to send it. Great way to discourage people. read more

My daughter picked up Medicine from Walgreens in Warren NJ. My grandson had one dose last night and vomited it Up (thank God) so this morning my daughter tried again to give the meds. And the bottle of augmentin was totally solidified. So what Is it bad meds or some incompetent did the incorrect dilution. These are meds to get them better not make them Sick. And the pharmacist was a disgrace all she could off is that shouldn't happen. No kidding you incompetent mess. Corporate is my next stop. And will not stop til there is a change before someone's loved one dies from their staff. read more

Purely awful! New employees are bringing the business down. Went in to pick up a prescription which was originally supposed to take an hour which ended up taking almost two! Honesty is appreciated Walgreens Pharmacy! Be straight up! I switched to a new Walgreens b/c I moved. I prefer this Walgreens b/c it's much larger then the new Walgreens that opened on Valley Rd Stirling, Nj. They have an extensive makeup section. Everything is displayed very neatly and organized. Walgreens usually has milk and eggs discounted. They also sell bottled spring water for a good price. I'm always asked if I found everything I need. I belong to their rewards program. Depending on what you purchase many items are worth 1000's of points. When you reach 5000 points you get $5.00 automatically off your bill. The minute you walk in, someone from the checkout counter always says hello, and welcome to Walgreens. I appreciate the acknowledgement. If I can't find what I'm looking for the staff is very friendly and will direct me to the correct isle.I haven't tried the pharmacy yet, but I will let you know. There is plenty of free parking b/c it's located in a strip mall in the center of Warren, NJ. The merchandise is pretty much the same as the other Walgreens there is just more of it. The items do run very seasonal so if there is something you see it's best to buy it right then and there. I would recommend shopping here. read more

The store always seems to be in some kind of seasonal transition...at least that is my optimistic view point of seeing empty shelves and a store that seems to just have too much space for what they have inside. If that was not enough the layout seems somewhat odd and the general feeling is that of a desperate need for a total rebuild. I cannot comment on the pharmacy as I have never used it but for the rest I have seen better for Walgreens elsewhere. read more

I was supposed to pick up a medication from the Walgreens pharmacy yesterday, however they told me it was not ready and they would have to order it and would be ready by the afternoon the next day. On the following day, I called and was told they were "working on it" around the time when I had been told the prior day it would be ready. I need this medication and it is unsettling to me that the pharmacy has not shown any effort in obtaining it, and I feel lost and as if a different pharmacy would have handled this better. read more

This is the old drug fair if you have been around this long in the area.. Its a big store with the typical walgreens items, but what is nice about this location is that its never busy.. Good for me when I want to go in and out quickly. One thing I noticed is that they carry a lot of junk, who would ever buy a pleather jacket, especially from walgreens... Its like adding insult to injury. This is the only location I have ever seen items that were so off the wall and out of place but I guess this might be the dumping ground or test grounds for these items.. Bottom line, its walgreens, it quick, it big and they have good sales here and there. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and not only was the front end staff rude but so was the pharmacist. The pharmacy tech Catina could not answer a question regarding the price of my prescription so she told me to move to another window (literally one step away) and when I didn't move fast enough she got irritated and again told me to move. I could understand moving if there was anyone else in the pharmacy but I was there at 8 o'clock at night and there was no one else there. She then yelled over to the pharmacist regarding a question on pricing and she didn't know what to do and the pharmacist response was "I don't know what to do she's going to have to talk to the other pharmacist". The pharmacist walked across the pharmacy floor and then was saying some thing but I could not hear her and was not even sure she was talking to me and so the pharm tech became aggravated rudely saying "she's talking to you ". I said to them I've never been treated so rudely before and the pharm tech Catina became loud and obnoxious saying "lady I don't know what you're talking about etc". Wall greens are on every quarter so I would suggest not going to this one for anything pharmacy related. They're absolutely rude and unhelpful. read more

As far as Walgreens goes, this is one of the better ones. Its located in the A&P Plaza, which is at the intersection of Mountain Boulevard and Warrenville Road. Parking is never an issue, and this location is never crowded. The pharmacy is well run, I've not had to wait more than 10 minutes. The store is kept clean, the aisles are kept neat, and the service has always been good. read more

I have been using Walgreens since the change over. I have only had one bad experience there but I do believe the girl was new. I have to say that the one girl behind the pharmacy is awesome she cares knows her job and goes into detail with any questions you may have not sure if your allowed to mention names but when and go and round the corner and see her I say thank you dear lord I hope they never loss her read more

I went to this Walgreens to pick up my photos. I went to the photo department which is right next to the area where you pay for regular items. The same lady that was working as a cashier was working at the photo department (she was working two places at once to be short). Anyways, I went to the photo department, the lady got my photos and said I have to go to the area where you pay for regular items. There was two ladies waiting in line and what got me so angry was that the cashier took the two people that were waiting in line first (and they weren't waiting when I was picking up my photos from the photo department!). And the last lady of the two had a nasty aditude and told me "you have to go to the back of the line because you can't just cut in the line" and with her hand showed me were the back of the line was (like if I didn't know!!). That's not right because I came to pick up ONLY my photos and the lady should of had me pay right away not wait in a second line. Came out of there very angry and that old lady just made me not want to come back even more! read more
