I'm checking my delivery status and I see this order is marked "canceled" even though my card was already charged for my online order. I was not called and did not even receive an e-mail about this cancellation. This is a horrible experience to have when I thought my friend would be receiving a special gift in a few hours. Now yes I understand it's their busiest day but not only was her office less than 10 min. away but the order was for their signature box of chocolates, a plush bear and a balloon, something very simple compared to their actual edible arrangements. I tried calling the store all day to make sure they received the order I placed online. At least 15+ times throughout the entire day it was a busy signal immediately as if they unplugged their phone or something. Edible Arrangements ruined my Valentines Day! Have you ever tried calling into a radio station for a contest and get nothing but a busy signal? I experienced that today trying to call Edible Arrangements. They must have been giving away Lady Gaga tickets because I tried calling every 10 minutes, only to get the inevitable busy signal. I mean seriously, who gets a busy signal nowadays? Only way to get one is if they disconnected their phone; which is probably what they did to avoid angry customers. Angry customers on Valentines Day no-less! Being the crafty guy that I am, I decided to call their corporate office hot-line to track my order. To my somewhat surprise, their customer service was unreachable as well! After several attempts, I finally reached a human and was reassured my order would arrive prior to 5:00pm. I remained cautiously optimistic, being that they must know the importance of customers receiving their order on Valentines Day. Alas, my faith in humanity was once again shattered, because they did not arrive at 5:00pm, nor even close to it. I finally received a phone call at 6:35pm asking me if I want them to redirect the order. I hesitantly accepted their offer and went on to bash them with this review. Horrible, horrible experience! This store ruined my Mother's Day. I placed an order Sunday May 8th at noon Order # W0048347073 for a delivery to my mom and grandma. The debited my bank account, I got a confirmation email and everything, and they did not deliver. I waited all day for a call from my mom and nothing. I proceeded to call them and the line was busy. When I finally did get thru, I was placed on hold for 45 min. I called this Monday morning, spoke to a supervisor who tells me they weren't taking any more orders after Saturday. Granted that yesterday was Valentine's Day, and they could not deliver it on the specified time 10-11 AM, but to not be able to deliver it by the specified date that it should have arrived can only be kindly worded as frustrating. They said "they cant tell when it will be delivered" but they assured that it will get delivered on February 14th. Not only did they NOT fulfill my order on Valentine's Day...they sent me a cancellation notice the day AFTER it was supposed to be delivered. I ordered online the day before to pick it up the next day. When I arrived at this location, my arrangement was not available and the employee told me it was not ready yet however online I was able to choose 8:30 am to pick up. Why make a time frame promise your company cannot keep? I inquired about delivery because the employee informed me that my arrangement will be available at 10 am when I chose 8:30 to have it ready by. The employee said that I will get free delivery based on the type of arrangement I bought. I later looked at my bank statements come to find out they charged me $16 for delivery. No emailed receipt or call from the store. $80 down the drain. Poor customer service and no regards to people's time frames. I called to inquire and was put on hold for over fifteen minutes. The chocolates were melted and the strawberries tasted spoiled. Also, the balloon was missing. I called customer service on Mother's Day and was on hold for almost an hour. These people are CON ARTISTS! I hope this place gets shut down. They ruin special occasions.
