Edible Arrangements is such an awesome company, and though I can't review it as a whole because I've only received fruit arrangements and balloons, but cheers for brighting my day with their deliveries! In September 2009 I received a delivery from my sister when I had emergency surgery and really needed a pick-me-up. The edible fruit arrangement was perfect to help me eat small healthy bites and the chocolate covered strawberries and marshmallows were a sweet follow-up. In August 2010, I received an Edible Art Arrangement and balloon as a thank you gift from a client. Let me just say that this delivery brightened the office up. I have never been to the actual shop, but the delivery person is always very kind and friendly. Kudos for their cheers! Just imagine this...someone walks in with a large star -shaped "Thanks For Everything You Do!" Balloon accompanied by a colorful arrangement of fruit in a green vase covered in plastic wrap. I was definitely grinning ear to ear! I took the wrap off to discover star-shaped pineapple, curvy honeydew melon and cantaloupe, flower-shaped pineapple with cantaloupe dot centers, grape skewers, chocolate covered strawberries, and white and milk chocolate covered bananas. Her shop closed at 7pm and I called her around 6:20 to tell her I wouldn't be able to get there until around 8, yet to serve me, she offered to come back in at 8. Then, she wouldn't allow me to tip her, to show my sincere appreciation. Her act of servitude, and show of caring, should be recognized. I ordered my daughter-in-law the cheese cake and fruit items. I understand that the tray and some of the items might be different but I really didn't expect for it to be delivered on what looks to be an elementary school lunch tray. There were 6 squares, 3 with cheese cakes and 2 with the chocolate covered fruit. The presentation was disappointing. i ordered an arrangement that included 4 cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. it arrived without the cupcakes and the arrangement looked sparse. The store was closed so I sent an e-mail complaint. No one called so I called back the next day. When I told them that it was missing an item she said " Sorry about that. I can give you credit or send it out today". Sh shrugged it off like it was no big deal. I told her it was for my daughter's birthday and she said with an attitude "SORRY". I told her to send it out today. I am SO furious with how this location handles customer service. 1st My delivery was scheduled for Valentines Day and it is now Saturday, the day after and our daughter STILL hasn't gotten her delivery. 2nd When I called this location to follow up, Jessica puts me on hold for 30 MIN! Then when she was supposed to transfer me to her superior, (she said his named was Ali) I was disconnected! I immediately called back because I am LIVID, she then tells me Ali is in a meeting and can't speak with me. I am beyond Disappointed with how my oder was handled. We have been returning customers for over 5 years now spending at least over 200 dollars a year sending our loved ones these special deliveries. My kids sent us chocolate covered strawberries for Christmas they arrived thrown (we have cameras) on our front step upside down in a half crushed box. Opening them they had half melted in the sun and the berries were crushed and oozing all over the box. Whole thing was absolutely destroyed. I called the customer service number and reported it and the guy on the phone said they'd ship out a new box but couldn't get here until after Christmas. No big deal. Well they never arrived. Delivery guy didn't like dogs, when they came to greet him, he kick them, one of them reacted to this and snapped, and then HE CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL , because according to him my 13 y/0 , 18 lbs poodle, who has never bit anyone before, bit him in the leg. The officer didn't filed a report because there was not bite. Before this even happened this guy was very rude and threw the arregaenment on the floor, I had an eye surgery and couldn't bent to pick it up. I will not use this people or recommend at all. I love Edible Arrangements! The product is always fresh and very good! I love the variety of fruit they have, some dipped in chocolate, some not. I had a big bouquet of chocolate-dipped strawberries delivered to her work for her birthday. A bonus was that some were dipped in red velvet cake crumbs! Oberlin Road store has horrible customer service. They lied to me twice that my order was not delivered on date requested because the person wasn't home but i requested delivery be left at door since it did not contain any refrigerated items. The next day I was told they confirmed with the recipient that they were available for delivery and that too was a lie. I was hung up / disconnected twice when inquiring about my order. The third time I asked for a manager and was ignored and told my order would be delivered. Asked again for the manager and was told he was busy. Otabeh was the order taker and never asked for my info for a return call. I went online and left a message for a return call. It was returned within the hour. Manager very apologetic, said the order taker was new and offered a credit for the amount that was spent. I have yet to receive credit or email as promised from the manager. He stated it would be done immediately and it has now been 4 hours. I also told him my first instinct was to leave a negative review and he asked me not to. I explained if he did not keep his word that I would and now I have. Shame on you for missing my best friends birthday and for your false words and deeds! read more

This place is terrible. My boyfriend call in an order weeks in advance for Valentines Day. The arrangement was delivered to my work at 4:30 pm when I get off at 4:00 pm. Thankfully my coworkers put it in the fridge for me to enjoy the next day. WRONG! The fruit was terrible. The pineapple was almost white. It tasted AWFUL! You would think the store would atleast make sure that the fruit is ripe before putting it in the arrangement. The strawberries look terrible as well they were either too green/white or they were so mushy that you wouldn't want to eat it. The only thing that tasted good was the chocolate heart in the arrangement. When my boyfriend called the next day after letting them know how awful the fruit was all they could do was offer a dozen chocolate strawberries that you had to go pick up yourself. They would not even delivery. So I would think about choosing a place where you actually get what you pay for and not something that you pay $90 on and cannot even eat. TERRIBLE SERVICE. read more
