The names were not called out loud enough for orders, so I never even noticed my order was there. The orders weren't fulfilled in the order they were received(paid). We ordered soft drinks that came out after several people who were behind us. When we asked the staff for a tray to carry out things to the table the staff seemed unsure if he had that. No apology was given. When we expressed how our ice cream was melting all over the place and the staff had no response or empathy. Why not keep it away from customers? The presentation was poor. A group of us moved over to that window, even though I was 2nd in line at the original window. This employee waited on only one customer and told the rest of us that that was his intention to wait on only one and he could not wait on the rest of us because "this window is not for ordering." I'm a Goodberry's regular, but this was the worst experience ever. It was a warm day, I get that. The crowds were plenty. The guy running the register was very ill equipped to handle the masses. I Ike Goodberry's. My review is for the Strickland/Six Forks location and a recent interaction with a manager there. He often fails to understand basic orders, and instead of a friendly question has reponded to me with a grunting "hunh?" I've listened to him respond in the same fashion to others ahead of me in line, so it's not an isolated incident. My final straw came last week. I ordered and paid for 2 scoops of vanilla in a cup. He put 1 scoop in a foam cup and insisted that was all I was due. I was en route to a meeting so I didn't have time to debate or demand the refund I was due. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and without the treat I paid for. I'm never going back to this location. I have visited this great place a many time, and was always satisfied with no complaint until today when I visited in Raleigh n c on Strickland rd and the handsome young man waited on the customer before me with her prize champion dog. I order before any of the other customers , one mini, no sugar , add vanilla and strawberry custard. He took 2 scoop put in cup and put medal cup inside of my cup and add strawberries and let it set while he made the other orders. I were very upset but I would not give him the pleasure of thinking it hurt my feeling. He laid my food on the table and I said thank you he would not acknowledge me and just start talking to the other customers giving their order to them. Sanitation was 96. I wonder why! I save my receipt just in case someone want to verify my order and the person who was waiting on me. They usually only have one person and they usually do a great job and clean.
