The delivery was that of chocolate dipped strawberries and a decorative cupcake. The delivery was one and a half hours after the promised time and the delivery man rang the doorbell, put the perishable items on the porch, walked away without knowing if anyone was home to receive it. The temp today was 94 degrees and 78 at time of this delivery. The strawberries were sweating already and had we not been home, the produce and chocolate could have been ruined. Very poor delivery process and certainly not timely. I realize this is Mother's Day and likely very busy, but the drop off of perishable items is unacceptable without verifying that the customer is home to receive it. read more

A company called Fruit Bouquets attempted to deliver TO WRONG ADDRESS, the person that declined the delivery directed the delivery person to correct building. Received email stating they will re-attempt next day. Supposedly they tried 2x and noone was home. Family member home 24/7 recovering from surgery so I call bullshit! Checked ring camera and noone ever came to door to attempt delivery. 1-800 Flowers called me to tell me my fruit was undeliverable. If I could give double, I would. Was given an edible arrangement for my birthday and it reminded me how much I love this place. I saw the reviews but decided to order small in case they messed up my order. Chocolate covered pineapple and some apple truffles. When I walked in, someone immediately came from the back and asked for my name. When he brought my order, he explained that he had accidentally prepared too many and threw the extras inside. I assumed he meant a couple extra but he meant a lot. He basically gave me an order or chocolate covered pineapples for free. read more

8/17/23 UPDATE: I still didn't receive my refund for the flowers so I called this location again and inquired about it. They told me that I had to call the Missouri City, TX location. WHAT?!?!? Why? Problem solved in less than 1 minute. Very disappointed with this location. The fruit was fine. The birthday balloon was deflated. The flowers were not delivered with the fruit and balloon at 1pm. They said it would be delivered at 5pm. That never happened. I called at 5:30pm and they said it would be delivered by 8pm. I requested a confirmation email or call when it was delivered. If I could give a zero to this Richmond location, I would. I ordered a large fruit basket that cost me almost $100 and the fruit had bugs flying around and worms in the strawberries. They delivered some additional things that I did not order for the Father's day. I was so disappointed with the quality. I called the store back to get a refund and was told they would only give me a partial refund because the delivery contained additional items. I told them they can come pick up the other items. Why should I pay for Edibles mistake? Also why should I pay someone to deliver a product that was not consumable? They asked if I wanted a replacement. I said no. STORE #1581/ 7930 W Grand Pkwy Richmond Tx Store rep ALEX is a LIAR and Extremely RUDE! I spoke with him several days prior to Mother's Day weekend in hopes of getting a (nondeliverable) treat for my sisters as a Mother's Day/Aunt appreciation gift. Which I'd accomplished easily at other locations for my other relatives. He told me to call back and make the order the following morning since it was not a Mother's Day deliverable and I'd be able to pick it up then. My niece had planned on picking it up anyway since I live in another state. When I did call back the next morning as instructed, he pretended he had no recollection of our long conversation. He did exactly what I asked and hoped he wouldn't and also, what he promised he wouldn't. After rudely speaking to me, he had no up. I get it, the rush situation and that MD takes precedence over anything else, that's why I called days ahead and tried to place the order for the "fruit cup w/chocolate dipped strawberry cone. Nothing elaborate (pictured below). But that does not warrant his ill-mannered behaviour because it's not some $200 arrangement. It was the first one I got for my mother. I don't buy into "the customer is always right" but we do deserve some small modicum of respect, especially if we first give it. That's ok though, I'm leaving a review any and everywhere and I'll search for their owners' contact. Let them know that this savage, this bushman is in their employ. This in only a 2 star and not worse, only because I have stopped in here before. Seems like they are only good for in-store shopping. When they're assigned for delivery, they drop the ball. I ordered my Mother-in-law an arrangement for her birthday. I ordered it on Friday for the following Monday delivery. Seems like a 3 day advance order should not result in hers being one of the last deliveries of the day. They set the "En Route" status just after 12pm yesterday, but it didn't get delivered until nearly 5pm. By then, she had a house full of people and didn't get to really enjoy her treat. I tried calling MANY times for an update, and got a voicemail box that was full. I had to call another store, get a new customer service number, and call that group to get any update on it at all. All customer service said is that they would put in a request for contact and a compliant on my behalf. That was yesterday just after 4pm. It has been over 24 hours now, and I have not heard back from anyone. Based on this experience, I will think twice before delivering to anyone in my area again, that has to use THIS store for delivery. Just spoke with Jamie about rude behavior exhibited by Alex, the owner who delivered a surprise to us. Living in a gated community made Alex angry. He did not have the gate code and is not entitled to it. The person sending the chocolate covered strawberries told him to call to be let in the gate. He called but I don't have a phone in my shower! Have used them for client gifts - and will not do that again. I had no idea a surprise was coming and when I called him back as his message was incoherent due to his thick accent...he was rude. We ordered on their convenient Edible Arrangements phone app and were pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was. My kids have ordered for school counselors week for each of their schools and had fun doing it on the interactive application. The owner Alex was so kind and went over and beyond in such horrible weather to deliver goodies for my daughter. It was her 10th bday and unfortunately I was not able to go meet her from Chicago to Houston so I placed the order here and despite them not having driver that late Alex arranged his son to come out pick up the Oder and make my daughters special day extra special and he was so kind to add balloon when he found out that it's for a little girl. I was truly touched by this gesture because I felt horrible for it being able to be there but this gesture has added memories both for my daughter and I to cherish in coming years. I placed an order for my sisters birthday on Tuesday at 3:15pm, received an email confirmation at 3:19pm the ordered was never delivered to her. I received a call the next morning from tge most ill mannered , impertinent person asking me if I wanted to have the order delivered that day (a day after.) when I asked him why the order wasn't delivered his exact words were " my driver ... I don't know what happened, you place the order at 3:30pm." his excuse made no sense. I then asked if I'm supposed to place the orfer at a certain time why did the website take my order and my money ?? He never apologized and could care less that he ruined my sisters birthday. Incredibly rude management. I was never given a time for delivery, and when I called to ask, the response was "sometime between 11-4 ok?" and they hung up. I also never received an email confirmation of my order. I called to ask for one, and was rudely told they would resend it, but here I am still with no email.
