I already can't wait to come back!…read more One of the review that warns you about the scent that smacks you right in the face when you open the door... they meant it My family and I came here this past weekend and were welcomed by friendly faces. We were looking at the fudge and they offered us try-outs of any that looked good so we tried the peanut butter (amazing), lemon (even better) and the turtle (my personal favorite). Then we made our way to the ice-cream selection! My daughter got the superhero flavor with a waffle cone, I got the berry pie ice-cream flavor since the previous review raved about it and she was not wrong! The pieces of pie were top tier. My husband opted for different chocolate pieces and he loved all of them, especially the chocolate covered nutterbutter . We also picked up one of the Kilwin's pecan treat. It came with pecans on the bottom, caramel on top and milk or dark chocolate on top of the caramel... mm mm MM! 10/10 recommend! It did get messy as we were walking around so I would suggest grabbing LOTS of napkins before leaving.

This is a gourmet spot for those who enjoy chocolates, ice cream, fudge, and more. The service here…read moreis friendly and the staff are very willing to help whether you're looking for a treat for yourself or a gift for others. The shop has many different kinds of chocolate including some sugar-free ones too. They are sold by the pound at the counter or in gift boxes throughout the shop. The fudge is also aplenty and the price per pound varies with flavors. Think smooth and velvety fudge that is rich and delicious! The caramel apples are also great tasting whether you like it dipped in milk chocolate or dark chocolate or covered in nuts or not. They'll offer to cut it for you so you can eat it right away or to keep it whole to enjoy later or gift it. Caramel corn is sold in bags for those who like the sweet tasting popcorn. I find their ice cream to be on the sweeter end and also somewhat more pricey than many other sweets shops. Overall a good spot to stop by once in a while to feed the sweet tooth. Parking can be a bit hard on the weekend if you're looking to park right in front of the shop, though there is complimentary parking in the Sugar Land Town Square garage nearby.

Royal Roastery is a roastery offering freshly roasted nuts, baklava, Turkish delight, ice cream,…read moreknafeh, desserts, Arab drinks, juices, and shakes. When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

My best friend got me chocolate from this establishment and had them mailed to me in Florida…read more Imagine my excitement when I opened up this beauty. The presentation and beautiful box it came in with the different levels to the chocolate itself was unlike anything I have ever seen. They each beautifully decorated like gems and tasted unique with spices like cardamom and saffron. I like that they include a description of each chocolate so you know what you are tasting. Since I told them I would be traveling from Houston to Florida, they packaged my box carefully to ensure it stayed safe and in tack. I've made recommendations to a few of my family members who have ordered from them. I like that they have vegan options as well. Nothing beats going to the store but if you can't, their website is easily accessible. I think it's time to order since my birthday was a few days ago. A gift to myself.

She embraces both South Asian flavors as well as others I believe she discovers and learns about. The chocolate is 10/10. The dark chocolate mocha latte is, dare I say, one of the best in Houston. The business was quaint and clean, and the staff was very personable…read more The chocolates were absolutely fabulous. I did try a few different types of chocolate, one being more of a crispy cookie called the Baton Frommage. It is chocolate and cheese, and it tastes exactly as it states 10/10 Next was a white chocolate potato chip, which was absolutely fantastic. The balance of sweet and savory with the crunch was beautifully done- 10/10 Lastly, I had to try what they're known for which is their Nama chocolate. The texture of the Nama chocolate is soft, almost like a cheesecake and the taste was very decadent. I tried an orange chocolate, a regular dark chocolate and white chocolate with white chocolate being my favorite. 10/10. One of the things that I noticed about these chocolates is that a lot of them are individually wrapped so they make great gifts options and they are packaged well. The only slight quirk to the Nama is that it has to be refrigerated so that may not work for some. They do provide an ice pack to go in the packaging so that way if you have some running around to do, it will preserve your chocolates for a little bit.

They only have a limited selection to taste samples of, which is kept in a cabinet behind the counter. Wasn't expecting this since other chocolate stores have everything in glass but here, everything is sold as packaged. Different from other chocolate stores that sell pieces of large chocolate bark/bars by the pound. I bought the Black Chocolate bar for $10.99 and enjoyed how it isn't too sweet or bitter. Nice place to get a gift for someone but wouldn't stop by for a sweet treat for myself considering the price/inability to mix and match chocolate pieces. Definitely more of a place to get quality chocolate gifts.
