The fruits were very tasty, refreshing, and lightly sweet. My favorite was the melon shaped as flowers with the pollen imitating the pineapple. The melons were subtly sweet and soft. The pineapple was delicious! After I completed the bouquet, to my surprise, the bottom part is stuffed with iceberg lettuce. The lettuce was crunchy and refreshing. The whole arrangement was fresh. My sweet boyfriend ordered a Be Mine Bouquet for me for Valentine's Day this year. Unfortunately, almost all of the strawberries and especially the chocolate dipped ones were overrip and mushy. You could already tell by looking that they were turning bad on the edges under the chocolate and it makes me hesitant to bite into them. The strawberries weren't fresh. It would've been better had they been underripe instead. I ended up throwing out most of them within 24 hours of receiving this. The grapes were mushy as well. The pineapple and chocolate hearts tasted fine but I expected much better quality considering the price and it had been made on Valentine's Day to order and picked up on time. read more

I always choose this location when it comes to gifting fruit baskets to folks in the Southeast Houston area. Unlike the 1-800 number, I had someone answer the local store phone number instantly. Recently, I ordered the "Happy Birthday Fruit And Dessert Platter" for a non-birthday related celebration. Also, they're delicious and healthy. Too bad this place is really pricey though! I just spent about $73 for an anniversary bouquet of fruit for my parents, but don't tell them I said that. Here's a breakdown of that price: $47 V-Day Delicious Celebration bouquet, size small (pineapple, grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew) $12 all strawberries dipped in semi-sweet chocolate ($6 for half of them dipped) $12 delivery (varies by location) -$4 coupon My dad said they delivered around 5:30pm and that he and my mom just wanted to stare at their cute gift for a long time before they ate their fresh and delicious fruits. They have a catalog in the store and a small fridge with a few already-made bouquets (some were $35) to give you an idea of the size and appearance. I saw a variety of items that had pineapple slices carved into flowers, hearts, or numbers. You can choose to have a few or all your fruits dipped in semi-sweet chocolate. Their fridge had a few "lollipops" for sale ($3.95/ea), which were a pineapple flower on a stick. Some newer items that are now available: fruit salad - $2.95, berry rose pops - $3, and chocolate bark - $2.50. Size options for most bouquets are small, regular, or large. The arrangements are usually placed in a basket, pail, vase, or mug (or at least those were the options I saw). Boxed gifts are available of the chocolate-dipped fruit. They also have balloons, teddy bears, cards, and other knick-knacks. They take down a cell phone number of the recipient just in case they're not home during the delivery. If a recipient can't be reached, they'll leave a note on the door. This manager and store is completely horrible they have the worst service they did not deliver my arrangements at all even though I paid the same day, they attempted to Deliver on a non business day which is Saturday! They never arrived on Friday I stayed 30 mim after the business to Close to see if I would get it and nothing they will not refund my delivery because they attempted on a non business day even though I already called first thing Saturday to Cancel and refund my money even when I sent a email that Friday!! I ordered a birthday arrangement for my wife at 9 o'clock in the morning I've talked to the store twice finally got an answer that it will be delivered between three and four because the driver was in league city to deliver when I am five minutes from the store on Barringer Lane they go to league city first and make me the last stop coming back it is unacceptable and that is the stupidest way to deliver anything. I understand the pandemic of the COVID-19 I am not having a guaranteed time but when a delivery location is five minutes from the store should be one of your first stops headed towards league city rather than last. read more

I have had issues with this location multiple times including wrong deliveries, no show deliveries and issues with refunds. They kept my 4 year old daughter waiting for her birthday surprise all day long when I arrived to pick it up after they failed to deliver it in a timely manner I was told they did not have a "plush" toy that I also put on the order which I believe I should have been told at 7:30 in the morning when I made the order. Quick, easy and fun alternative to regular arrangements, although like other reviewers stated, the customer service is just...off. When I first walked in, I had to wait about ten minutes before anyone even came to talk to me. The girl working had just come from next door to get breakfast or lunch. It seemed strange to leave the shop completely unattended that way. Isn't there a lunch break? I had something in mind - chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple - but nothing more specific. I thought she'd tell me some of my options, explain what people often order, or something. She just asked, "box or arrangement?" I said box, unsure of my options really. She tapped on the computer for a while, told me how much it would be. It was easy. Maybe too easy. It seemed like they had a big catalog. I guess since I'm spending $35-70 on an arrangement, I'd like to sample what some taste like, see photos, how to customize. It felt lacking in a personal experience. It's pricey, but hey cut out fruit dipped in chocolate always is. They had it done in about 10 minutes and offered me a sample after I ordered. The fruit was fresh, cold and delicious. After calling several times I was told each time it would be delivered today and now of course they are closed and saying they can deliver it tomorrow. Wish I could enter zero stars. A complaint with the BBB is being filed next as apparently they have an issue with delivering services that are paid for. Crooks! It is the next day and of course no delivery. After calling the store I was told that she attempted to call me but my phone was off....???? This is a very poorly managed store. I order an arrangement for Valentine's Day and was surprised when it wasn't delivered by 4 PM. When I called the store and inquired about a delivery time the clerk on the phone was very short stating, "We haven't even started the home deliveries yet." After pressing her for an approximate time she responded, "Our policy is that we deliver until 9 PM. I can not guess when or if it will make it to you." After it was not delivered I called the store in the morning and the manager said that there were many homes that did not get delivery and that she would try to get it out today. TRY? Are you kidding me? Long story short the arrangement was delivered at 10:15 PM on 2/15. There was no apology or offer for a discount. There are other franchises serving SE Houston and the burbs. Absolutely awesome experience. First of all, when we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smiling employee. The location was very clean. She even offered free samples to taste. OMG! Who would refuse chocolate covered fruit? We were given a whole rundown of what options we had to choose, while we were there. They even offered to take phone orders in the future for on the go pick ups. The price was reasonable and the presentation was beautiful. They never delivered or called to apologize we had to call and ask what happened two days after Valentine's Day and they wouldn't answer the phone. Some girl finally called and said it would be delivered before 4:00 when my office closed and that we would also receive a full refund, which I think is satisfactory after the arrangement was never delivered and no one called us. Well 4:00 comes around and my arrangement never came so I call back and another woman said that I would be receiving a refund only but not my arrangement. Okay... just two hours ago it was a different story is what I told her. All she said was sorry for the inconvenience. You ruined Valentine's Day for so many people and continued to ruin it even after the fact. I think I should have absolutely received the refund and my arrangement for all the trouble.
