Green milk tea w/ jelly and taro milk tea 1/2 sugar w/ taro boba

Tea time, A space where you and your girlies can gather to spill the tea on running into your ex at Costco and you're looking you're absolute worse, being in the middle of an office affair with your boss who is 20 years your senior, or learning that a reporter from the Atlantic was inadvertently included in a group chat with top National ranking officials making war time decisions?! [insert fist bump, American flag, fire emoji] Whatever the gossip may be for the day, Tea Time has you covered with their refreshing selection of bobas, coffee, and fruit teas to keep you hydrated through all the yapping. My personal top two go-tos include the Grapefruit Galaxy and Mango Madness. Half sweetness for both the drinks are perfect! I appreciate that they use real fruit and have an awesome of fun combinations you can try. Honestly I haven't tried a drink I haven't enjoyed. They also used to have banh mis in their early days but sadly that is not on the menu anymore. But they still have offerings of Korean corn dogs if you're looking for a snack! A new fun addition they included in their shop are claw machines where you can try your luck at a cute plush! If that's not your thing, they also have board games you can check out. One thing for sure Tea Time surely will not be a boring time. I've even witnessed a couple at the brink of breaking up but because they were so satisfied and happy with their drinks - they chose to work things out and left still holding hands. P.s. only one story is real from above, can you guess which one? -Sailor out

I stopped in with four friends during the afternoon on a Friday. Delicious drinks, lots of options, including a lemonade drink that one of our friends enjoys even though they don't like boba. The lady who took our order was extremely nice and quick and helpful. The vibe is very much "small local business who spruces up the place" so I recommend stopping in to support. They also have a selection of treats like Korean style corn dogs and "crowaffles" which is a croissant/waffle covered with whipped cream and topping. We got a mango one that came with a generous serving of fruit!

Very spacious and clean boba shop. They offer a good amount of drinks to choose from. The one I got was Ube matcha with less ice. I couldn't adjust the sugar but the drink was still pretty decent. I love the way this boba shop is set up. It feels so clean when you walk in here. Lots of seating room and very spaced out so you won't feel crammed at all.

Very friendly service, boba is so good, and pretty ambiance. We would definitely recommend this cute place

We were excited to see another boba shop pop up in this area. When I lived on this side of town, boba places were few and far between. Now there's plenty of options nearby. What's good about this spot is that they have snacks- from Korean hotdogs to chicken wings. I just imagined my younger self hanging out here pretending to study/get work done just so I can buy snacks/boba multiple times throughout the day. The guy at the counter was friendly and enthusiastic, and our drinks came out fast despite them being busy. As far as drinks go - they have your basic boba options from milk teas to fresh fruit teas. We got their winter melon tea which was not the best but wasn't bad, and their fruit tea was very good and I'd definitely get that their again. Overall I'm glad this place is here to add another option in this area's boba scene. You should definitely check this place out!

Taro tea with Boba was amazing! And cheese dog was so yummy (tasted like a mozzarella stick but really fresh!). Place was very clean and had fast service. Also lots of games to play!

Great friendly service and awesome tea. One of our go to spots in the Webster area. The store is bright and clean. They also sell little cute stuffed animals and Knick knacks. They also have a small menu with food that consists of Korean deserts and bites.

Instant happiness when I walked in....it is soooo cute inside, literally!!! Even my 2 year old likes it here but mainly for the boba squishmallow. Haha. She never asked to have her picture taken but this time she asked twice with the squishmallow. The mini couches were perfect for her and I. The boba was delicious, soft, and had a great consistency. I had the Ube creme brulee fantasy and would definitely get it again. Maybe less sweetened. I didn't realize until after we got our drinks that you could adjust the sweetness level. My daughter had the strawberry snow without boba. This was equal just as good. Definitely can't wait to come back and try more drinks and the food. Love that the southeast side is getting more boba places. Although, I would love an Asian town on this side.

Tea Time is the best tapioca shop in the Clear Lake Webster area hands down. Nice shop, friendly workers, decent amount of seating, and consistently great tapioca drinks. I don't know how I heard about this place months late after their grand opening. I would have came sooner if I knew this was in the area. They bring Houston Bellaire level boba drinks to southeast Houston so thank you for saving me the drive! As far as drinks goes, I've had their ube creme brulee fantasy and milk tea creme brulee boba. I always get my drinks 50% sweetness level and less ice. Both drinks were spot on. Great flavor, not too sweet, soft chewy tapioca, and just overall well made. They have food here too as well like chicken, dumplings, egg rolls, etc. I tried their spicy korean buldak chicken with cheese, not bad but portion was a little small. It was pretty quiet here during the day so I got some work done on my laptop, but they only had 2 outlets that I saw. Regardless I'll come back to try the rest of their drinks and food. Cheers!

Probs the best bubble tea in Clear Lake. More like 4.5 stars because it's not the best-best, but a good option when I don't want to sit in the car for an hour to drive to Bellaire. Cute study spot. Free WiFi. Boba tastes fresh every time I order it. Also this place serves Korean style shaved snow (bingsu) - I wish they use a lot more mango to make it worth the price. It only covered the top in one layer. One thing that's annoying is that the pearl milk tea is 60 cents more on the menu than the classic milk tea, but my drink was charged as classic milk tea + 75 cents boba topping. Why not make it the same across the board... oh well, I know how to order next time.

LOL. I thought I took a before photo but I'm already done with my drink before I realize I haven't.

Passed by this area by chance, saw a new boba place and had to try it. When I first enter the establishment, I knew it could be a hit or miss because if the interior is super nice, their drinks can maybe be lacking. I ordered my usual favorite (milk foam jasmine green tea) and my it was super refreshing, delicious and on point. 5/5. Will definitely come back for this order. My husband got the Hawaiian fruit tea with aiju jelly and it was also equally tasty! He loves it. 5/5. We will definitely be back to try out their other drink menu and food items!

I've been to many boba shops in Houston and Tea Time still remains as one of my favorites! Since day one, they've always been consistent with their quality and are constantly adding new drinks and food items to their menu. I've tried most of their fruit teas (not pictured cause I'm slacking) and so far none of them have been a miss! My favorites to get are the tropical fruit tea, super fruit tea, oolong tea w/ cheese foam, and grapefruit tea. The interior is super clean and nice, they often play Korean or chill songs in the store and there's free wifi so it's a good place to study at. They also sell boba plushies, sanrio keychains, and branded tumblers inside!

Thai tea and ube crème brûlée fantasy
    Claudia L.

Waited about 10 mins before getting our 2 drinks, which isn't too bad considering we walked in right behind 6-7 people. I asked the cashier if the ube crème brûlée fantasy was super sweet and he suggested to do 50% sugar since I don't prefer sweet drinks. The label indicated it was 30% sugar instead and it was perfect sweetness! So many selections on the menu. There are non coffee options and tea options as well. Will definitely be back to try the roasted coconut milk tea.

The inside is setup with a warm interior that really takes you right out of the busy city nestled away from a really busy highway. Here you order at the counter and your drink is brought to your seating area. My first unfortunate experience is that the sofa-lite chair cushion has been pretty worn down, so sitting in it wasn't the most comfortable - not a dealbreaker but its noticeable. But my much bigger disappointment is how when the cà phê sữa đá (vietnamese iced coffee) comes out... it tasted just like regular drip coffee with condensed milk. A coffee you'd normally find yourself sipping through a conversation can just easily be chugged down seeing how thin it was. I'm not even going to give them a hard time of what kind of coffee was used either since every location has their preference. I'm only talking about it's overall richness. Regardless; beautiful place, large menu, I will probably return and try something else. Good vibes, just don't expect rocket fuel.

The Vietnamese sandwich was delicious, love the toasted baguette. To anyone in the area looking for a cafe, I would recommend this place!

However, my last experience with this establishment left a horrible taste in my mouth. Therefore, I am giving them an extra star for the previous experiences. On May 17th, 2026, my best friend and I had been looking forward to coming to Water Oak all day and had our taste buds set for the occasion. We were famished and had quite a day up until arriving. Upon entering the restaurant, we were very briefly greeted by the a Hispanic man who I assume is the manager and told that they were "no longer seating for the day". I glanced around and saw that every table inside WAS seated, however there were many tables outside that were empty. I asked about the patio stating that us where we preferred to sit anyway, and was met with that they were also not seating the patio at all for the rest of the day. However, there was a group of 3 women seated outside on the patio at that exact time. I didn't say anything, simply turned and left. After having "one of those days" hashing out something so minute with a person who clearly didn't want us in their place of business was not something I was about to do. Keep in mind, we came on a Sunday afternoon. Prime brunch time. We arrived at the restaurant around 2:30PM, and their website says they don't close until 4PM. I am a biracial black woman and my friend is white. I noticed a significant amount of White and Latino patrons, but a shocking lack of Black people. With Houston having one of the most diverse populations in the US, it is almost impossible not to see at least one individual of each ethnicity in a place at any given time. I am definitely not one that likes to pull the race card, because oftentimes that is not the issue. However, as someone who is familiar with the service industry I understand Sundays can be extremely overwhelming. And I am cognizant that not everything is that serious. But, I am also aware that a lot of people in the industry discriminate against people of color, with stigmas that we don't leave enough gratuity or we "don't fit the vibe of their establishment". And those 3 women seated on the patio? All White. After reading recent reviews, it seems that management is discriminating against people of color, more specifically Black folks. This is an extremely disheartening and sickening realization to make, seeing as I have given well over $1,000 worth of my money here but also enjoyed many meals without issue. To management: It breaks my heart to have to write this review and to be honest, I wouldn't have written it if I hadn't seen others posting about similar experiences in addition to also feeling discriminated against. I highly suggest that if you are "not seating" after a specific time, you announce this via social media or alert potential patrons with a sign or something of the sort. & obviously, there is such an issue with treatment towards POC that it is a noteworthy problem via your Google & Yelp reviews. You will have a much bigger fish to fry on your hands if you continue to let this issue go on unrectified. I would be willing to return if I felt things were to be changed for the better in the future! Hopefully this review sparks a much needed conversation and brings attention to an area which needs work.
