The exam rooms are spotless. It's a nice, quiet setting that's perfect for folks who experience appointment anxiety. This past year was my first time ordering glasses from the store, and I'd definitely order again. The staff were extremely helpful with my indecisiveness about the frames. They had great suggestions, and I ended up with a pair I love. I initially had some issues with the fit, and they encouraged me to return as many times as necessary to ensure I was comfortable with them. I was prepared to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion, but when I showed up at the office, the staff were so nice (all of them), and Dr. Carlson was so approachable, knowledgeable, realistic, and experienced - and the price was on-point compared to other places, that I decided to just go with Claris. And I was fully satisfied. Long story short, because of the strength of my distance vision prescription, my option was LASEK - the option with a little different approach and a little longer healing time. Dr. Carlson was VERY helpful in talking about options, because I also am starting to need bifocals (what?). He's a smart, straightforward guy, and I learned to just trust his recommendations. Here I am now, with 20/20 distance vision, and no need for cheaters to look at my phone. And working on my computer and reading my orchestra music with no problem. So, go do it!
