Did not show! Had to call a neighbor to get us to the airport so we didn't miss our flight. Don't use this service.

(I just left the same review for Airport Taxi Car which seems to be the same service as Edina Taxi judging from the business address listed on their website). Just like Anne T.'s review below, my taxi was a no show. I've reserved the taxi a few days ahead of time through the website (www.edinataxis.com). I received a confirmation, both on the web page, and in my email, including a reservation number. Just in case, I called the night before to confirm. A male voice answered the phone and was a little hard to understand (which would be ok, if he wasn't also a bit rude). I tried to confirm the reservation but it was clear they didn't have one, despite my reservation number. He said that they will call dispatch to find it and call me back. I waited half an hour but no one called so I arranged a taxi through another service. That call never came. This is unacceptable. The ONE thing I expect from my taxi service is to show up. I booked online the day before and they were suppose to be there at 12:00 pm. I received a confirmation booking with a number. They never showed up, after i called at 12:15 pm, they had no one available and did not know about my confirmation. There ad says reliable, 24/7 booking online. Don't believe it. Well, I see that Edina Airport taxi took down my negative review within an hour, so I am going to keep posting it in order to warn off others. I scheduled a pick up for six this morning. I was on the driveway with my suitcase, and I had the outside lights on at 5:50. No-one came, even though my appointment was confirmed the night before. I called several times between 6 and 6:20, and asked for a call back that never came. They had my cell phone number, but I never heard from them AT ALL. At 6:20 I woke up one of my neighbors, and begged him to take me to the airport. When I checked in and ran to the gate, the plane was already boarding. If I had been 5 minutes later, I would not have been permitted to board at all, and would have been out the $300 I paid for my ticket too. I had been excited about the trip because I was going to Florida to visit my son and daughter in law for the first time in 2 years. I called again while I was waiting in the line to board, and someone hung up on me. This was such an important trip to me, and I came close to missing my flight. It is now more than 12 hours later, and I have yet to hear from Edina Airport Taxi. Do not call them. THIS IS A COMPANY THAT CANNOT BE RELIED UPON. Avoid them at all cost or you may miss your flight. I am still frustrated and angry. They just blew me off. I am going back to UBER. They have never let me down, and they have always been in contact by cell phone when they are close. I ordered a cab one week before and called the day before pickup. the cab never showed up, no one called, they could not be reached. We waited for twenty min. We had to drive our own car to airport. We almost missed our flight and had to pay 234.00 for airport parking. When we arrived back home, I called edina cab and said I would like to speak to the owner. the person hung up on me and blocked any future calls from my number. Do you want to use this company??? I ordered a taxi for 4:50am today. The cab didn't show up even after confirmation call last night. When I called the person who answers said driver had a flat tire. Ok- so you don't call? STAY AWAY! Very shady and unreliable business!! They were supposed to pick me up at 4:30am for an airport run. At 4:40am I called their office main line because the driver had not yet arrived. The dispatcher called the driver and said he was on his way and would be 10 minutes late. I called back on 4:50 because the driver had not yet arrived and I complained about it. The dispatcher took offense to my complaints and I heard him radio'ing the driver and ordering the driver not to come pick me up. He essentially cancelled my pickup because I complained about the driver being 20 minutes later! read more

Taxi was a no show to the airport. I called and asked when they were arriving and they said 2 min but were almost 20 min late. I've used this service before without issues but I don't like to gamble when heading to the airport. Will use another service going forward. read more

Oh my goodness! I had great service to the airport. JJ was very helpful and interesting. He was on time and even with rush hour traffic and rain I felt safe and secure with his driving. read more
